I guess he may have a point, though it must be considered if the law that governs school uniforms is the same as rules that govern a lawyer's dressing. In a judgment delivered on June 17, 2022, the Supreme Court affirmed the decision of a Court of Appeal Lagos, which removed the ban on the use of hijab in public schools in Lagos State.
The apex court in a split judgment of five-to-two, held that the appellate court was right in its verdict nullifying and setting aside the judgment of a Lagos High Court that banned female Muslim students from wearing the hijab (head covering veil) with their school uniforms. By the way, I'm happy Lagos State lost. |

If so, he's right to complain, especially if he does not see the value in the mathematics you bring for his children.
Perhaps stop eating his food and don't go so often. |

Culture › Financial Life Of A Lagos Bus Driver by budaatum(op): 4:30pm On Nov 17, 2022 |
Everyone knows him by his last name: Jimoh. He is a familiar face on the Lagos mainland where he lives and works. When Jimoh walks through his neighbourhood, often wearing his baseball cap, he does so with a smile and a friendly remark for those he passes along the way. Even the agberos at the bus stop, the young men who tax passing vehicles and are not known for their cordiality, raise their hands in greeting when they see Jimoh.
For years Jimoh drove a keke, one of the yellow tricycle taxis that used to be ubiquitous in Lagos. He owned his own vehicle and through hard work saved enough money to buy three more, which he rented out. Then in February 2020, the Lagos State Government announced a ban on kekes to improve road safety. Jimoh had to sell his tricycles at a loss and start over. Christianity Etc › Re: Adam Actually Died The Day He ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evi by budaatum: 3:11pm On Nov 17, 2022 |
KnownUnknown: What makes you think he taught that? This is a profound question, KnownUnknown. It's not so much about what he taught however, but what one learns from reading what is written about him. Same as I learn from the story of the Garden of Eden to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil as opposed to what many appear to learn, which is, eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil will surely kill them. And that, despite it's opposite stated clearly in the same Bible. It should be very obvious that those who do not eat fruits of knowledge can not possibly "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth". And when such malnourished people say, "Let there be light", the response is more likely to be "NEPA!" As opposed to "And there was Light".

This is a huge shift! The Mormon Church said Tuesday that it supported federal legislation seeking to protect same-sex marriage rights, but it cautioned that the church’s doctrine stating marriage should be between a man and a woman remained unchanged.
In a marked shift from decades of attacks on LGBTQ rights, the statement was perhaps the clearest declaration of support yet on same-sex marriage from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are not misunderstanding her. Say nothing and keep quiet. You've written here about it so you can not ever forget it, unfortunately. Now go work at buying your own better car one day educating your children, and also at not letting your thoughts of what happened ruin your marriage. |

freemanq: Another Fulani Kidnapping took place yesterday evening along Ring-Road between Awka and Nibo yesterday evening. It happened yesterday when some men were returning from offloading. They were arrested by the Fulani men on there way back home, one of the off-loaders luckily speaks Fulani language they released him and kidnapped the rest inside the forest. Everybody should be careful now Lol! You had to add that, considering, I suppose. budaatum: The thought of Fulani kidnapping in Enugu or my own Yoruba land is just comical and for the ignorant as far as I'm concerned.
I've always said I would learn some Fulfude before becoming a kidnapper, so when I kidnap you you'd yell cow instead of looking for me amongst yourselves.
Thing is, that's probably too much effort on my part since most would yell cow as soon as they hear kidnap anyway, the bunch of lazy fuqs!
But I'm sure you'd wake up to the fact someday that we've been kidnapping yourselves. |

Passpands: I have recently developed this fear that after university, I’ll have a very useless and unproductive life. I actually need advice from elderly once here as I have no one to advice me, I’m just living life without purpose. Na, I never faced this problem. When I was broke and forced on to the streets, I sold eggs and coke to fund me through my secondary education which I concentrated on because I knew that's what would ensure I had a purposeful and productive life. All I could think of at the time was how to improve my grades in school, so what money I made was spent in buying books instead of paying teachers to pass me for work I never did. There's a vast difference between a certificate you bought and one you studied for, and it's one you can't hide. The posters before me have given good advice. |
