The film is about a minor, so why don't you go watch it and come tell us what's you are sure of?

He has provided proof to a reasonable extent. It is for Farouk to explain how he got all those millions, which are far beyond his income.
I love Dangote, but what he has provided here is not proof to any reasonable extent, least not as far as I am concerned.

Dangote has not even provided any evidence that Farouk paid the schoolfees he's alleged to have paid, but you want me to join you in lynching Farouk on Dangote's conjectures.

Oga from your attitude you can never be someone like me, you see evil yet try to colour it good. Fine if he has previous investments or jobs that will earning him a life of such luxury he should show us......
I wonder who you think you are that he should show you. And I wonder what evil you've seen, when it is Dangote who is telling you what to believe without providing you with any evidence.

Truth though, I can never be someone like you who judges others guilty without seeing any evidence. You hear thief and get tyre and petrol and burn.

I'm glad Nigeria has a Dangote, and I hope more will follow in his wake to kick aside the cabal that stops Nigeria from progressing. But don't expect me to join you in lynching anyone without evidence they deserve it.

He's A civil servant. If they probe hard enough, NNPC And Subsidy kickback Money follow for the $5 milla.
If they probe More, they might discover assets worth more than $100 million...... That's like a 100 lifetimes of his salary.
He was not always a civil servant! And I do hope he's probed. If it was up to me we'd dig up Buhari and probe him too, or just probe his dead body anyway.

Know that it is not so unusual for a person with his work history to earn so much in his field.

If you read that profile and concluded that he worked in jobs that can afford him at least 5m dollars for school fees alone, then you honestly need help!!
Fact is, I don't know how much he earned or what he's paid for schoolfees, and despite my love for my god Dangote, I'm not finding Farouk guilty until I see some evidence or a court finds him guilty.

I'm not one to join a mob to tyre, petrol, fire a person just because someone yelled 'thief'!

You’ve never benefited a kobo from this man. But you’ll find a way to defend him because he is of your ethnic stock and religion. You think Nigerian politics is European football.
Just listen to yourself! You don't know my ethnic stock nor religion but are very quick to claim its the same as Farouk's! But then, it's the same way you have no evidence of the allegations against Farouk but find him guilty already!

oglalasioux, go do some research about budaatum so you can inform yourself not to spew what shows a clear lack of brain use. You'd be amazed that the likes of chatgpt will assist you if you include my monicker and nairaland in any AI tool.

What's the average salary for such roles? You keep repeating this stuff as if $5m is something everyone in oil and gas can amass and then dissipate on secondary school fees alone.

The average oil and gas worker earns around $150k annually and that's considered good money.
Is there any indication Farouk was an "average oil and gas worker"?

What would his pay have been if he were above average, like in the top 25%?

What actually amuses me about this is a person of his calibre might get a scholarship for his children in these schools so it costs him a lot less, but I guess we must not see any evidence and just believe my god Dangote.
PoliticsRe: Is Dangote Attacking NMDPRA Boss, Farouk Ahmed For Refusing 15% Petrol Levy? by budaatum: 11:05pm On Dec 16, 2025
So, his salary in civil service is all you consider pays his children's schoolfees and not what he might have earned in his previous jobs or investments?

And you are just taking my god Dangote's word for it without seeing any evidence?

I'm glad I'm not people like you!

nedekid:
You funny..
So he has work experience abi, with the work experience what work is he using the experience to do for the last few years ie civil service work, a dg of a parastatal, is he salary not known? Is it not paid by government? How much taxes has he paid in the last 10 years, even the last 3 years? Do you even know what $5m means, do you appreciate the amount of money in a poor country like Nigeria? To casually use 7.5b to pay secondary school school fees alone!
People like you are those that make this country never move forward, you see such evil, instead of you to praise dangote for exposing such you are using half sense to defend rubbish.
Do you know 99.9% of Nigerians will work from their day of birth to the day they die and not earn 10% of that money?

It does not list pay in any of his roles but I trust you will go research how much people in such roles get paid, and even where such people send their kids to school. It might make you see what is possible, and make you increase your own life ambition.

Where did civil servant get $5 millions dollars almost #5 billions naira just for a school fees?
Likely from years of previously working in the United States and the United Kingdom within the oil and gas sector before becoming a civil servant!

PoliticsRe: Is Dangote Attacking NMDPRA Boss, Farouk Ahmed For Refusing 15% Petrol Levy? by budaatum:
First, Dangote is a god, in my own eyes. He said let there be locally produced petrol, and there is locally produced petrol. But his recent campaign against Farouk Ahmed is becoming rather irritating, and if what's claimed in this thread is true, I'd want to reluctantly demote Dangote from a god to a mere angel.

A person with the work experience of Farouk Ahmed as described below should most definitely have earned enough to fund private education for his children anywhere in the world without needing to steal Nigeria's money!

Farouk Ahmed, who previously worked in the United States and the United Kingdom within the oil and gas sector.

HealthRe: What Can We Do To Put An End To This Ranking? by budaatum: 12:45am On Dec 16, 2025
What Can We Do To Put An End To This Ranking?

We must educate ourselves, as that's the way to prolong the life expectancy of a nation.

Some might want to argue that we are already educated, but the fact we have more religious buildings than libraries, and pray to gods for our daily bread instead of getting it with the sweat of our brows, and yell NEPA instead of "there is light", all show that we are not yet educated enough and need to learn more.

Now, some still might want to argue, but please first look up the education index of nations and see that it correlates with life expectancy, and shows the least educated nations have the lowest life expectancies.

The fact that you created this thread shows we are on the way to achieving a higher life expectancy already. We just need more to come learn from 'professors' like you at the Nairaland University who make us consider such issues.

Yes, they will increase their taxing of us to pay the borrowing that has continued for other expenditures because that is what we elected to rule us.

And not that when I say "what we elected to rule", I'm including the about 20million who bothered to vote and the 200m who never bothered.

What the man wanted was to spoil Nigerian hustlers name.

Before you know it, White employers would be like "Don't employ him, he's Nigerian they use to sleep on duty, they lack work ethics" just because of one man's laziness.

If you wan sleep, come back to Nigeria and join Police so you would start sleeping on duty.

That babe deserves an Oscar.
Thankfully, some might consider the woman and see Nigerians reporting their country people who sleep in duty as a positive.

Considering I play it religiously every day and have for years, though can't actually place a god in it but just want to boast about my latest potential feat, which is that I've not not had a game going for over ten years but might reduce to zero soon, which might not seem like anything, but would if you understand Time control: 3d +1d <5d, and the fact that I'm approaching the highest elo I ever have.

I'll update of course, but if you'd rather follow a competition that began in May, here. But please, no challenges till I've wiped the board.

There's ethics in here somewhere, and lots of morals too, but I'll leave all that for down the line once I've mastered discipline, now I found a shop that's selling.
