sorry for you. You are a typical Nigerian or perhaps you dont know anything about Israel. Saying that money was wasted showed you level of ignorance. I beg go visit google so you can know a bit about Israel and the middle east.

sir, whats there to know about the middle east.. that isreal oppressed at will the people of palestine, enslave and repress then, deny them the simple basic human needs to survive, or that isreal kills innocent women and kids and are over looked by the west. or simply, isreal dont want other countries in the middle east to develop as it is.. sir, if i may ask, how mant countries in the middle east have nuclear weapons and are secretive about it, have you ever heard of Mordechai Vanunu or just of recent have u read of "prisoner X" . maybe you may want to read the below excerts from the london guardian newspaper. and see what the world leaders think of isreal and its leaders.

"Thus we discovered yesterday what Nicolas Sarkozy really thought of Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu. At the G20 meeting in Cannes the French president was clearly unaware a nearby microphone was open when he turned to Barack Obama and said: "Netanyahu, I can't stand him. He's a liar."

The US president, according to the French translator, replied: "You're sick of him? I have to work with him every day."

jp philips:

ive not seen any sense in what you said above, attacking Cameron's administration doesn't disprove his assertion so you can spare that for your fellow propagandists,

i agree with your recommendation number one, the rest are mere fantasies, rem. Cameron never said the G8 will map out a guide line on how Nigeria will spend its money, rather you have failed to realize that Nigeria even in our abundance still depend on them for development, that is the point you missed.

Tell me one major project of this administration that is not being funded by foreign loans,

HIV/AIDS, railway projects,Electricity, roads, just mention it, these are basic infrastructures if i still remember vividly.

the time it took you to put up that sermon above, half of it could have given you a proper understanding of what the man is saying.

do you know how much IMF and sundry loans Nigeria is servicing? the 2012 budget earmarked 68billion for servicing loans alone, within this same fiscal year we have borrowed more than $10b from different sources.

trying to ratiocinate that can cause a migraine, now who owns the money you are borrowing? who owns the IMF/world bank loans you are borrowing?

how many times has Nigeria contributed to USAID/UNESCO?UNICEF at al? we are freaking at the receiving end all the time, and the owners of this money are saying that

since we can produce the richest black person in the world, since a mere gov. can be richer than a county in Europe, there is something fundamentally wrong with the same institution always coming to them cap in hand.

The G8 are going to review your access to loans and nothing more. Bro. jo saw nothing good he can do for Nigerians except subsidy removal, do you know why? because it is a requirement for more loans to be given.

your MNC fingers are the most ridiculous, you don't have problems accusing shell of not playing big daddy but you chose to forget that in the JV agreement that brought shell in the first place, someone goes home with 60% of the lot.

with shell's 40% they have succeeded in building a world class institution operating in all crannies of our hemisphere over the years yet, the man with 60% has absolutely nothing to show for it, do you blame Cameron for that?

NNPc with its subsidiary NPDC started 27years ago, today as we speak, they have managed to produce a paltry 100,000bbls/d of crude, shouldn't we be ashamed of our institutions?

its competitor in china (CNPC) this last decade has taken Africa by storm, gaining relevance outside its domain, same can be said of PETROBRAS an off shoot of a fellow developing economy spreading its tentacles and gaining relevance, here at home we have leaders either w@nking with a PIB or a crippled NNPC that cant successfully operate just one facility at owaza or oguta after so many years of disservice, cant you see that there is something fundamentally wrong with your institutions?

we accuse Shell of pollution, environmental degradation et al are they equally responsible for pipeline vandalism? kpo fire nko? Mend attacks nko? or the crude disappear once the pipeline is blown open?

oh!! i almost forgot flaring, this same shell between 2002 to 2006 launched an aggressive AGG campaign geared towards harnessing associated gases, what was NNPC's contribution towards that as the custodian of 60% in our JV agreement? let me guess, buy them beer, ask them to go secure foreign loans, then we pay them with oil later, is that how sane people do business? and you don't see something fundamentally wrong with your institutions?

you talked about better prices for African products, i don't see any sense there, we are active in OPEC where member states use demand and supply forces to regulate prices, that is oil our biggest export, what else do you want the west to do for you? beg you to mechanize your Agriculture? or you want your cassava to be more expensive because you harvested it with a matchete? when a better genetically engineered specie is littered every where looking for patronage? i don't see your point.

or they should beg you to improve your Electricity which has manacled the success of local manufacturing that would spur export, or they should stop you from collecting multiple taxes from petit businesses? or beg you to eradicate corruption the bane of loan accessibility to manufacturers? what exactly do you want them to do for you in this regard?

China realizing how much export means to its economy, keeps their currency weak at all times, which makes their goods cheaper, they didn't stop there, they have close to free shipping services for made in china goods to any destination in the world, is that too much to ask of Nigerian leaders? where is our trade blueprint for the next five years, none, and the ministry in charge of it nko? quietly sleeping. incompetence in all facets of our existence in this country.

Today, China is the world biggest manufacturers, America goes cap in hand asking them to strengthen the yuan because it is suffocating America's exports, do we really need to ask for fair prices if we are good in what we are doing?

look again at our oil, the biggest thing you export, how many indigenous companies can employ indigenous technology to extract that your oil, tell me? how many? you still run to shell, chevron etc to help you extract it then you still have mouth to talk.

your last issue about debt reduction really proved that you didn't understand what this thread is about, who will reduce your loan for you

a) the owner of the money

OR

b) the mad people in power that have no plan for the future of this country?

you are always there to beg and they are always willing to oblige you, Lagos and Abuja have permanent offices for all the donor lobbyists that are rewarded handsomely for the m0r0ns in power to perfect their patronage, who should help you in this case? does IMF tell you to service loans you did not take?

why do you need loans to fund supplementary budget when Cecelia Ibru alone has enough money to buy off a whole street in the united states, that is what the G8 members are concerned about.

five years ago, the Paris club cancelled a lot of debt for us, like you suggested, did it take us how many years to go back to square one? you paid off $12b, they forgave almost that same amount, in less than 5yrs, you have borrowed to the tune of $48b and counting.

there is something fundamentally wrong with your institutions and the G8 wants to figure it out, who knows our revolution can start from there.

Hizbollah is a terrorist organization, just like boko haram who conduct guerrilla warfare, and attack when no one is looking. That kind of warfare is pretty difficult to suppress. Hiszbollah can not even stand direct warfare, so deceiving ur self.

Don't make that mistake again, Israel is well equipped and there are possibilities that Israel has a fully functional nuclear weapon system. In case u don't know, America is the only thing preventing Israel from attacking Iran. As st the last time, Israel's patience is running out without the way the Americans are handling the rift. Better go and read something.

Iran can never stand the is israeli army. I case u don't know, Israeli warplanes have 2ce entered Iran in the past to level weapons factories notorious for producing non conventional and illegal weapons. There was no response other than verb protests. This is why Iran is vigorously pursuing a nuclear capability. So they and launch retaliatory measures against Israel in the event of any invasion from Israel.

A verry massive congratulations to Iran for developing yet another terrorism deterance especially from the USA and Zionist regime. Inspite of all the sanctions and embargos the great nation of Iran is still going stronger and tougher scientifically, if only most countries in the world can follow the foot step of Iran and refuse to be pushed around and oppressed by the number 1 state sponsor of terrorism(USA) the world wld be a better place. inspite all the west uproar, sanctions and embargoes about irans nuclear capabilities .. just this week, the USA had its tail tucked between its tails yet again, now they want to hold peaceful talks with iran about its nuclear programme. useless wankers, bunch of wet pussies

Its obvious the west and america wants the world to depend on them for survival, so it can oppress and enslave countries at will. Its great to see countries like north korea coming out hard and strong ... and militarily, technologically and scientifically dependent.. just last month, North Korea says it has completed preparations for a third nuclear test which it threatened in response to tightened UN sanctions imposed for a long-range rocket launch last December. i just hope and pray the USA invades NK, cant wait.. love to see the NK flattened and erasr them motherfuc.kers from the google map.

Don't be a f00l again! You can blame that underachiever in the white house who is just interested in getting his name in the history books.

Isreal, Qaddafi and currently Assad all warned the U.S. about who the insurgents were.

As for France, and the rest of the world no one listens to the U.S. anymore as a result of Obama. The French are just trying to renegotiate their way.

But the big picture is that;

1. You have a lot of weapons moving in from places like Libya and even Egypt into the Sahara and eventually finding their way into western and central Africa.

3. You have within this corridor very weak central governments with little control over a vast border areas and regions such as Chad, Niger and Mali.

4. The insurgency in Mali started off as Tuareg demand for secession and just prior to the collapse of Libya's Qaddafi a lot of funding for the Tuareg's came from Qaddafi himself. (Qaddafi's mum was a Tuareg). Al Qeada had existed in the fringes of the Sahara in around the border region of Mali and Algeria and had been very active with the islamists of southern algeria and their jihadist course. The Tuareg formed an alliance with Al queda for both training and logistics.

5. The only unifying voice after the Arab spring has been that of electing hard line Islamist into offices. The Arab unification is on it's way for the first time ever prior to which was stalled by the presence of longstanding despots. The only unifying bond between the Arabs is their religion. Now that you have fanatics calling the shot in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya what stops them from unifying and forming a pan-Arabic state.

As much as you may want to be cautious of western powers you should not also underrate or ignore the ever dark presence of the Salafists and their harrowing plunder on Africa.
The insurgency in Mali has been taken over by the Salafist and is not under the control of the Tuareg's.

Enough reason for you and I not to sleep with both eyes.

Im still lost at the reasons why nigerian army have to go to mali and risk their lives for a course that have nothing to do with nigeria or nigerians or our interest. The west created this problem and yes, let them deal with it... its obvious when they wiped Gadaffi off the map for not surrendering his country's wealth to them, they were drunk and blind sighted by the greed of oil and gas, they were too happy to arm the islamic rebels with the latest ammuinition, now that that the same interest is at stake they are looking to recruit slaves in western african army to go die for a course they will never benefit from.... why is the UK not sending forces or NATO? When the west went into libya, you dont need to be a rocket scientist to figure out that the end result will be disastrous... we have seen how liberated iraq is, afganistan, libya and syria... no wonder countries like china and russia decided to take a back sit and laugh at the west, more so when the american ambassador to libya was slaughtered.

Aside the above, We have seen how Boko harem over the years have been terrorizing Nigerians in the north, we have no army to quench their thirst for blood, but we are ever ready to send the same army who are meant to implement order in the North to die needlessly in mali... Are Nigerians that stupid?
