Yes they do, u have to complete any biological science and then complete 4 years med school in the US

PalmTree: Guys, I served in lagos (Batch C 2010). If you are posted to a govt sch, you'l be paid 15k and 10k in ministries but private sector varies. Local govt also varies from 5k-10k. If you work in any govt office either state or local, you wud not b paid until after 3mths but you'l get the accumulated cash after that period. Ciao!

So some1 cud earn up to 20K in lag i.e state + Local government

@shygal dont worry i believe ur ronz is still genuine, my uncle who is a high ranking officer at NYSC also asked for my department he didn't ask for state well hes ma uncle so he knows my state of origin, he did mine yesterday he told me dat he didnt need ma call up no earlier (that is when d callup no came out) he also handled all ma prev cousins posting. @ola@ you must participate in NYSC before you can work in any major establishment except you graduates from university at 30yrs or above

davidylan: I really cant speak for O&G companies in nigeria. Ajanlekoko or Jarus might be able to help you better.

davidylan: Plenty. your only problem is that such jobs are not available in nigeria. O and G companies in the US (at least) i know do hire microbiologists, pharmacologists, biochemists e.t.c particularly for their R & D subsidiaries.

livapul86: Chance? Everyone has a chance, it depends on having the required qualifications, knowing the right people and leaving the rest to God. He should start by being aware of the opportunities from the O & G companies, then start applying like everyone else.

Yes o the new policy is realy annoying, but if your posted to a school you could work something out with the pricipal and still work at the oda company. Was planning to serve at NNPC but they now totally reject corpers
