This is really unsual of the Payoneer I knew of back in 2008. Even the same David hardly respond to email as swiftly as they used to. Na wa o.Now that they have grown so big, they are having a hard time to keep up with customers.

arbitrage: Mrkels - I don't think this is just the traditional Netspend card that people use to activate Paypal account. Though I can see that the activation is handled by netspend webpage, the card itself is advertised on Paypal website and that is what led me to the card order and activation page, which is paypal.com/prepaid and you will then see netspend on the activation page link.

In fact, I have the traditional Netspend card both visa and Mastercard, which are issued by either or both of Bancorp Bank and Inter National Bank, both of US. Coincidentally, the same Bancorp bank is the issuer of this Paypal prepaid card (still different from Paypal debit card and Paypal Extra or plus card). The traditional Netspend card does not need any paypal account to link to and it shows only Netspend name on it, whereas this Paypal card carries paypal name on it and it needs to link to a paypal account in addition.

Bukkahands - I don't think you can fund this paypal prepaid card with our Nigerian cards except through other services like Moneybookers and Titan Money Express that I have used in the past. In fact, I uploaded fund instantly from my GTB Naira Mastercard to the Moneybookers (Skrill) account while the MB (Skrill) can withdraw instantly to a US issued visa card (like my Netspend visa card but not mastercard), but I use the option of transferring the fund from MB to the US bank account associated with the Netspend card. So the money will appear in the card around 24-36 hours. I can therefore say you can fund this Paypal prepaid card (or other Netspend card) from your Nigerian GTB dom account (and not from the GTB or other Nigerian card) because I discovered that the total fees/charges in going through my MB (Skrill) account afterwards is close to charges/fees incurred when transferring from GTB dom account (or any other bank dom) to the US bank account associated with your Netspend or Paypal card.

Sorry I just remember that you cannot even transfer from GTB dom or other dom accounts to the US bank account associate with the card because the US account is actually a virtual one. The traditional bank from here cannot send to it whereas a US bank over there can send to it by direct deposit.

Its possible to do phd in the US directly from Bsc @learn, and I graduated at 21 if I get the phD programme, I will be 22 doing it so its possible just giving an example, I heard they also admit second class upper to the phD programme

moroh: Nice thread. It is very possible for good students to get fully funded PhD admissions in Canada and the United States. It is not easy though. There are a number of things you need to do.

2). Graduate with a good CGPA. Most fully funded programs in North America ask for 3.00(out of 4)and above. In reality, you might need to get more than that because of the possibility that your competitors might have high CGPAs. However, if you feel your CGPA is not high enough, numbers 2 and 3 may become more important.

3). GRE or GMAT. It is almost impossible to get into a fully funded PhD program without a strong GRE or GMAT. Prepare for these standardized exams and ace them.Passing these tests very well may make up for any CGPA deficiencies. There are some threads on Nairaland that can help you.

4). Statement of purpose. Prepare a kickass statement of purpose describing your research interests, why you want to earn a graduate degree and what you wish to do with a graduate degree. You should also describe in glowing terms the research you did in Nigeria. Your statement of purpose may also address your CGPA issues.

5). Get in touch with a prospective advisor. For a PhD student requiring funding, this may be the determining step. After getting the high CGPAs and GREs, you may still be denied admission if the professors in your field, in the school you applied to do not have any space in their Labs. It is better to get in touch with a professor and get the go ahead from him to apply to the school. He/she may be the one to determine your funding situation. Some Phd program may not require this step: they admit the best students as a cohort and fix them up with advisors after the first or second semester, but they are getting increasing few.

1). Fast and Pray if you believe in God, if you don't then hold fast to that which you believe.

Ok wire transfer takes between 3-5 bizness days if after 5 biz days u don't get the alert u mail bet365, but confirm from the bank to make sure d money isn't there. But if I may ask are u sure u typed in ur bank detials like iban, swift codes well, has the money left ur bet365 account ie when u check ur balance online if yes to the above queations, then mail them

Yes chuks u can use it to fund bet365 (hv done it personally) but as for withdrawal u can't withdraw to the mastercard(I assume u are talking about naira master card even dollar mastercard) becos of their policy so u will withdraw via bank wire. But the GTbank visa card does both
