*Can the medical tests be completed in 2days?
*My friend won in 2009. After her first visit, she went back for another shot of injection after a week or so. Has anyone ever gone back after more than week to complete the test?

Yes it can be completed in 2days, IF you get there on time (7am or earlier). You get d injections(vaccines) on d 1st day and then u go back 4 result the next day.

Firewami: Thank alot for all ur numerous counsels on this forum, pls do i still need to print the back code sheet and submit it with our application, is it a must? The reason is that the agent that played for us does not want to release the confirmation code to us and without the confirmation code i can't have access to the back code sheet. The agent is pestering me for N200k, which i'v being persuading him to wait until d visa is granted, can i go ahead with processing since i have case number and selection letter with me?

Check ur selection letter that's with u, ur confirmation number is there... Use d confirmation number to reprint another selection letter+bar code page online urself with dis website:- http://dvlottery.state.gov/ESC

after the swearing and finger print, the questions asked were:

CO: when did you start working:

CO:Before now what were you doing

CO: What skool

CO: ohh I love that skool. What is your job function
ME: Risk Mgt
CO: how come you are not doing something related to your course
ME: started working in this particular industry & I have since been there.
CO: ok..thats good

After some few clicks she smiled and told me congratulations and welcome to USA. By the way, the CO was an african american (beautiful lady!)...so I guess my mind was not in the questions being asked ... she then gave me 2 papers (1 for visa pick up, the other USCIS payment).

I forgot to inform you guys that my interview date was shifted. It was initially billed for October 31st, however, I received a call informing me of the new date of 13th Nov... I was a bit annoyed because I felt a mail should have been used to back up the call (for me that was standard going by my training). so i mailed them that same day...the response i got was stunning...I was told I could not reschedule a date after the date advised (13th) and if i missed the interview that would be all. waiting be dis, see me see wahala, na me beg u say make u shift am?...was so furious so I almost sent a stinker mail to them...but after persuasion from my friend and colleague, I dropped the idea...

The cab that took me there had no bright head light... was scared wen we got to 3rd mainland and the whole place was dark...this was arnd 4.45...@bukiemma I tink I have tried...need to get back to work!

toye88: @chiwuike20 the process I went thru is similar to other success stories earlier posted by others...and i want to avoid repeating what has been said thats why I pointed out the exception I noted (attitude). However, as a concession please ensure you have photocopies of ur docs, its better to have the 330 dollars cash because rates are increasing by the day and you may not be sure of the exact naira...some small papers will be handed to you before you enter ( a blue paper-square in shape; a paper for your contact details -to be filled when you enter the hall; and the payment paper) please keep those docs properly to avoid embarrasment!...hope this satisfies your observation?

Had no immunization record. So I was given 3 different vaccines for 18k

Obatide: I guess they Just take delivery of these vaccines? seems to be a new order of charges but other member should please update the forum whenever they visit the clinic as well.

I did my medicals today @ Children's Practice Clinic, Ikoyi.. I'm single so I paid 12k for consultation and 18k for vaccines. Mehn those injections dey ach person 4 shoulder no be small. Anywayz I was asked to come back 4 my result on friday btw 4-6pm

seubis: From iyana iba,u find ur way to oshodi,when u get to oshodi u board a bus going to obalende.when u get to obalende u board another bus going to falomo then u alight @ polo bus stop.u will see a street beside zenith bank @ the bus stop, its just a stone throw frm the bank or u ask anybody that u re going to 25 raymond Njoku street or children practise.secondl,as regards the police report,when u re thru with ur medicals,u board a bus back to obalende then u a board keke marwa to alagbon.guy the police report na 3k ooo!those policemen are sumtin else ooo.just wise up and shine ur eyes.Hope this help

femishow2005: Morning Sis. of course it's not too late u can still do it next week depending on your schedule tho. As par direction, from where you are if u can get a bus to obalende fine else you come oshodi and pick bus to obalende. From there take a N70 keke napep to Raymond Njoku street. U can tell the rider u wanna drop at the hospital. Also for Alagbon just go back to obalende and take another napep to the police station.

Morning Fam... Pls I need directions on how to get to Children's Practise Clinic and Alagbon Police Station respectively. I learnt its possible to do both my medical and police report in a day. I stay somewhere around Iyana-Iba (close 2 LASU). Secondly, My interview date is 1st week in december, hope its not too early/late if I do my police report nd medicals tommorow. Thanks

Led into d hall whr I made payment of 54,500(despite recent crazy dollar exchange rate)
Was called @ window 21 for documents submission.
Sat down & waitn 4 my number(B423) 2 be called,
At about 10:45am my num appeared @ window 14 whr a young pure white lady interviewed me

Because my cousin applied and was rejected while my dad's visit visa was approved because my dad has travel experience. So please we need to know if its required of him to travel outside nigeria before he can get a US visit-visa. Thanks!

Good morning to you all and we are highly excited to inform the house that we had a successful & wonderful interview this morning.

It is the Lord's doing & it's marvelous in our sight. I am very grateful for the exprience/advice shared on this forum. By the grace of God almighty we shall all end with shouting of rejoicing in Jesus name.

Now, our Itinerary:

Pre_interview Activities:
- All documentation were properly arranged with Principal applicant leading.
- Ensured the originals & Photocopies (Birth certificate, Police report, School Certificates & Medicals) are in order.
- We ensure no document(s) was missing & did a thourogh check before leaving.
- We had a review all the forms sent KCC & had a dry run interview with my spouse for consistency.
- We got the children involved by reminding them of their birthdays.
-We prayed & sought for God's favour & help before leaving home.
-We had a baby after sending our forms to KCC & we had notified them (LagosIV) before the interview date.
-We prepared his own DS230 form & presented it at the venue.
- We left home early enough & arrived at embassy by 5.45am and drove in with the entire family.

At the Embassy:
By 6am, we moved in & there was a briefing & 2 lines were formed for Immigrant & Non-Immigrant
- Were instructed to remove phones, electronic gadgets, oil, liquid, metal object but i was allowed in with my car key.
- Were instructed to please open your medical envelopes (All seal envelopes must be opened & failure to do that point may resulted in turning you back - pls be attentive to the instruction)
- At first point: Principal applicant was called & requested for 2NL, then we were given a slip for payment, blue tags & number was given to us.
- Another slip was given to us to fill in Principal applicant name, email & Address.
- Next we got seated & waited for security checks (Pls ensure you abide the instruction to do away those items that are forbidden).
- We moved inside for final security check (scanning machine) before we were ushered into the hall.
- As you entered, you will be given a number that will serve you for the day. Immigrant applicant were other to seat separately.
- We waited patiently until they called our number for payment - we did that in USD & issued a receipt (don't misplace it).
- We got seated & waited for sometime before they started attending to Immigrant visa.
- About six(6) families came this morning & first two families were granted.
- About few minutes to 9am, my spouse was called & moved toward the counter with new baby & i was called as well.
- We were told to raise up our right hand make an oath to say the truth & we did accordingly. All forms were given to us to sign & either of us signed for the children.
- Our fingreprints were taken. I was instructed to go & sit down while my spouse was to be interviewed.
- The conversation goes thus:

CO: Your name?
Spouse: Answer according

CO: when did u get married?
Spouse: Answer accordingly

CO: Where do u work & what is your role?
Spouse:Answer accordingly

CO: You had a baby after submitting your form to KCC & what are the proof to show?
Spouse: DS 230 form was submitted & signed there, we presented the photograph for naming, church dedication, photograph showing family members with us during the naming, etc

CO: Have been to US?
Spouse: No

Now the CO called me for clarification:
CO: Have u been to US before?
Me: No

CO: You have a valid visa & why have you not used it?
Me: I explained that i was to go for a conference but had to postpone to later date.

CO: She said CONRATULATIONS. Brought 2 papers & handed it over to my spouse & explained what we need to do. All our originals were returned.

Spouse: Bursted to laughter & we gave all glory to GOD for this milestone.

Lesson & Advice for Others:

- I saw someone that came with passport phoograph that did not meet specification. Pls adhere to instruction. The person was lucky & was told to go out & take a correct one.

- Someone international passport dropped from his enveloped & never knew only for someone to find it & return it to the security guys.

-Pls avoid anything that can put on pressure & ensure that you arrnge your document very well.

- For us, they did not collect the photocpies of police report i strongly advice you go with it on the day of interview.
- Stay focus & don't manipulate in any way & by the grace of GOD we all stand 99.999% of getting if you meet the requirement.

More gist later, i need to go - GOD us all.

I suggest u confirm if its really true cuz no nairalander have justbeen selected dis month (oct). I just hope ur frnd is saying d truth o, if so den I urge all my e-family to recheck their status now. Jst checked my cousins' but he's still hmmm ALL IS WELL!
