PoliticsTawari Killing And The Question Of Federal Government Responsibility by Bulleye(op): 8:12pm On Jan 03, 2020
I am at a loss as to why the life of average Nigerian is worth less than that of a cockroach these days. About twenty lives were reportedly lost in the attack on a town and everywhere is calm. There is no word from Aso Rock. It is more than twenty four hours now.
Unfortunately Nigerians are busy debating the killing of an Iranian General in Iraq. What a nation!

Allahu Akbar. Saudi Arabia is breaking away from religion while our Nigerian Muslims are reinforcing the chains of religious bondage and backwardness. What a pity. Yahoo Yahoo Islam is what they are practicing; most of them are scammers.

mujibson:
As a teacher, I think you could have done better than this. You posted same on Facebook too.

Do you know the criteria for admission into the university?

Have you tried to get in touch with the admission officers and find reasons?

Did you advice the girl before choosing Abu as her school of choice? If yes, did you make some research before doing so?
I won't start telling you Abu admission modus operandi or the protocol she follows in admitting candidate. You can find out on your own.

I'll say it's your/her fault that you didn't know that O-level is not a standard or test by which candidate's composite is calculated in Abu. So far you have the minimum of credit in your relevant subjects, you are good to go. So save us that 6 A1s.

Her jamb score(302) and postume(278) gives her an average of 290 (which is very good I must say) but this is Abu. The most chosen university in Nigeria after unilorin according to Jamb. Don't forget she's as well aspiring for the most competitive course in the institution, medicine. I can boldly say the girl has more than 12000 competitors.

Due to the mode of admission that Abu adopts ( Federal character), admission based on catchments, I would not be able to give cut off marks.

Let's just take top schools probably in same circle with Abu like UI, OAU, UNILAG, UNN who released their cutoff marks for MBBS for example, none of them pegged her MBBS cutoff at an average less than 310 or equivalent. That's just the level of competitiveness of the course this days. Anything below 300 average is rarely enough for a course like MBBS in most federal universities in Nigeria. Most candidates you see admitted to MBBS are not given on their first trial, meanwhile they've had countless 300+. They just never gave up on their dreams.

I'll advice she try harder and be better next year. She can and will do it. Her 290 average is good but not enough to get him MBBS in Abu. Thanks
ABU can dig out a thousand reasons why she was denied admission. You just gave some. Let keep deceiving ourselves. One day you will be served a plate of what injustice is and not a billion reasons will make you give up the fight to fight for your right.

What disqualified her from being admitted?

EngrBriggs:
ABU is notoriously known for this.
That validates the fact that it is a glorified primary school. No wonder like every other Nigerian university it is fossilized in the past. No progress or advancement in human endeavors. ABU is a dinosaur of a university. It belongs to a museum to be viewed with a tag like this: A symbol of the failed project called Nigerian educational system.

Injustice to one is injustice to all
Ladies and gentlemen, meet Goodness Thomas the Valedictorian of St. Clement Secondary School, Gbaiko Minna, Niger State for year 2019.
This girl here scored 302 in her JAMB, 278 in Post UTME at the ABU Zaria. She has 6 A1s in her WAEC yet ABU Zaria denied her admissions to study her course of choice, Medicine and Surgery.
My question is, who were those admitted? What did they score? How many of those people scored 300+ in JAMB? Goodness is just another victim of Nigeria's preference for mediocrity in disguise of quota system. If we must make meaningful progress as a nation, we must begin to encourage excellence.
Twas her birthday yesterday and as her former teacher, I felt obliged to let the world know for this injustice. I believe that Social Media can be a tool for positive change.
I therefore, call on the management of the Amadu Bello University Zaria to review this case and grant her the admission she deserves or at least tell the public what their admission criteria is for the Medicine and Surgery department of their school.
Please help me share this till a management staff of ABU Zaria or the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board sees this.
PoliticsRe: Monday Ubani On London Trip: Buhari Has Breached Constitution by Bulleye(m): 12:56pm On Nov 08, 2019
Buhari: the poster boy of a failed state. Buhari is a symbol of decadence and and a country that has lost direction. With his antecedents Buhari cannot lead a village. He is failure personified and a tool in the hands of rogue politicians and state actors. Right now Buhari is the least of the presidents running the affairs of this nation: Buhari is a vacuum the members of the cabal are exploiting to advance their selfish pursuits at the expense of the nation.

They had to balance the equation: the south is being strangulated from all angles by this government. The south too must be reduced to the poverty level of the north. At the end of Buhari's second term El Rufai would be very happy because there would be more poor people in the south than there are in the north.

If the Vanguard newspaper cannot defend the tissue of lies sold to them by Timi Frank, I wonder how a reasonable person keeps giving the frustrated fool any audience. The Vanguard newspaper saw the danger of propagating lies and mischief and quickly retraced their step. By that singular act it is obvious Timi Frank is a shameless liar. Should he find himself behind bars his fellow frustrated criminals will be shouting up and down like a decapitated fowl.

No more press freedom in Nigeria.

We are even saying Buhari is a dictator but clearly Osibanjo will be a brutal dictator than buhari.

What is the essence of law that he studied....No more press freedom.
So because Osinbajo is a pastor he should allow his name to be soiled? He should not protect his name, reputation and integrity? How does going to court make him deadly?

Osibanjo is more deadly and dangerous than buhari...

We complain of Sars intimidating Nigeria, what can we call the action of same man who ordered sars to be reformed?

Osibanjo doesn't practice what he preaches?

A shame to the church

The plot against Osinbajo has failed for now but the cabal never give up: they already set boobytrap and land mines for Osinbajo. Osinbajo and his handlers must not lower their guard. The statement by this man is diversionary and should be ignored: The cabal would be more ferocious than ever to bring Osinbajo down. They have gone back to the drawing board now that Osinbajo has threatened legal action against the Vanguard newspaper and that Ijaw nonentity. Where was this man before Osinbajo's lawyers put the Vanguard newspaper on notice? Interesting days lie ahead.

One of many consequences of hypocritical people whose government choose religion as an industry. A byproduct of a feudal and backward fulani hegemonic elite that use illiteracy as a tool to keep the masses down and perpetuate all manners of political evils. The virulent practice that has been elevated to state policy that now makes Nigeria a cesspool of poverty.

PoliticsBuhari, The Fulani Project And The Throne Of Lord Lugard by Bulleye(op): 10:59am On Jul 24, 2019
That Buhari is Fulani and has rights to his Fulani heritage is a fact. However the presidency is not Fulani neither is his administration. Buhari did not Assume office in Aso Rock through conquest. He was voted in by over three hundred Nigeria's nationalities and has a contract with all of them. Any move by Buhari to promote the interests of the Fulani above those of the other nationalities amounts to a declaration of war on them and they have the right to fight back . It is obtaining conquest through the back door ; Buhari using federal might to Subdue other nationalities to elevate Fulani is a treason . Buhari and his Handlers must tread carefully
PoliticsBuhari, Cows And Land: Three Forbiden Words In Southern Nigeria by Bulleye(op): 1:31am On Jul 24, 2019
It would be suicidal for any politician to come down south and joke about land, cows and Buhari. For now Aso Rock, APC, Ministries and all government institutions should steer clear of the words Buhari, Land and Cows in Southern Nigeria. They connotes evil, bloodshed and internal colonialism. Presidency image makers must act fast.

PoliticsTinubu And Refined Almajiri Political System In Yoruba Land by Bulleye(op): 9:55am On Jul 18, 2019
Why should APC in Yoruba Land still get itself involved in vote buying despite its years in power? The answer is simple: Tinubu and his disciples have understudied the almajiri system in the north, adapted it and ruthlessly reinforced it . Millions of Yoruba people have been impoverished and financially vulnerable. They are then made to believe that they can be lifted from poverty by supporting APC. Their survival is tied to their support for APC and ensuing APC retains power . They are given one excuse after the other while they still remain poor. The cycle continues election year after election year. Meanwhile Tinubu drives private jet.
His cronies and disciples are positioned in various government positions while the poor masses suffer. In Awolowo's days party members contributed money to the party. However in Tinubu's time the party doled out money to party members? The question now is this: What political ideology drives Tinubu?
PoliticsTinubu, Obasanjo And The Fulani Threat In Yoruba Land by Bulleye(op): 6:27pm On Jul 17, 2019
The road Tinubu is about to travel now is familiar to Obasanjo . However it appears Tinubu is not well versed in Nigeria's politics and is therefore daydreaming. Can Tinubu be more pro-north than Obasanjo? What has Tinubu done for the so-called north that makes him think he is adored by them? How much sacrifice can Tinubu make to please the north compared to what Obasanjo has done?
While Obasanjo definitely has his flaws it is better to trust his judgement on the current political situation in Nigeria . Has Tinubu observed how the Lords of the manor called Nigeria turned Obasanjo to their punching bag despite all he has done for them? Who is then Tinubu? Should I say Tinubu is foolish or naïve? Can't Tinubu read the handwriting on the wall.?
As things stand now in Yoruba Land Tinubu can. never be at the forefront of pushing Yoruba agenda in the project Nigeria. Should Tinubu continue like this Yoruba would be worse off than the Hausa: Tinubu by 2023 would be a prince without a kingdom and the Yoruba would be slaves in their land . Tinubu has played his role and should leave the scene . A war is ravaging Yoruba Land and Tinubu cannot lead the Yoruba at war front

Christianity EtcHijab: Desert Environment Head Covering by Bulleye(op): 12:40pm On Jul 07, 2019
Hijab is to a female Arab what turban is to a male Arab whose native environment is the desert. If Arabs were indigenous to a forest environment as at the time Islam sprouted up there would have been no need for hijab . Muslims should make a distinction between Islam and Arab culture. Hijab is cultural and not religious. I am a Muslim and I love Islam.

PoliticsRUGA: A Shape Of What To Come by Bulleye(op): 6:36pm On Jul 03, 2019
That Buhari has the audacity to attempt to force RUGA on the non-Fulani indigenous peoples that make up Nigeria is a wakeup call for them to be vigilant. It is a clear sign that Buhari should and must never be trusted by the non-Fulani ethnic nationalities that make up the federation. It is a lesson to all non-Fulani ethnic groups that a Fulani has only one agenda: To subjugate all non-Fulani nationalities in Nigeria, take over their lands, transplant all wandering Fulani in Africa to the seized lands and then proclaim Nigeria as the home of all Fulani worldwide. The only antidote to the Fulani threat is restructuring of this country to allow the various ethnic nationalities govern their respective political space.
