Let me start this write-up by repeating what we all know: The present Yoruba political elite led by Tinubu are all prey of the northern political establishment. With this background I begin pouring my thoughts out.
When Amotekun was launched the northern political machinery was put in action to attack and intimidate the Yoruba. Unfortunately Yoruba political representatives as represented by Tinubu killed it and packaged something else. What Yoruba will get after the meeting with Osibanjo will make Yoruba regret supporting their governors to support the setting up of Amotekun.
That Tinubu press release has killed the original Amotekun. What Yoruba will be offered now is the opposite of Amotekun: a monster that will torment the Yoruba and reinforce the grip of Arewa on the security forces. It would have been better for Yoruba not to have toyed with the idea of setting up Amotekun at all. However Tinubu will pay for the betrayal of Yoruba to set up a security outfit to safeguard their land and lives. So this moronic Tinubu does not know he has shot himself in the foot with this action of his. Who trusts a man who betrays his people. Tinubu right now belongs neither to the Yoruba nor the hegemonic Arewa: he is a canon folder to both sides. If he is wise he should prepare for the worst and write his will: his fate will be worse than that of Afonja and Abiola combined. Tinubu's golden era has passed.
Now to the Arewa supremacists who believe Nigeria is their inheritance : Amotekun should be an opener that once the Yoruba people are fed up they will damn the consequences. Arewa should prepare for Nigeria's break up. It cannot be stopped and the earlier they accept this fact the better for them. The more they delay the greater the catastrophe will be. As the second hand of the clock ticks so the catastrophe awaiting Nigeria exponentially increases. It is not a matter of if Nigeria will break but it is a question of when.
Now to the attorney general of the federation and Arewa supremacists that are quoting laws and sections of the Nigerian constitution that make Amotekun unconstitutional. Buhari's attention was drawn and is still being drawn to the federal character act. What has been his response so far? Can the attorney general and his Arewa supremacists answer the question? Miyetti Allah has become a republic within a republic with no action from the attorney general and Arewa supremacists. Living in denial never drives a crisis away. Buhari's present administration is treasonable by its actions and inactions and has has therefore lost legitimacy.
Let the Yoruba go back to the drawing board again because Amotekun has been compromised and should therefore be rejected. They should start another initiative that should exclude Tinubu and his gang. And the Arewa supremacists should prepare for eventuality because there is too much blood in their hands and they can never stop the break up of Nigeria. They have just two options before them: restructuring which is peaceful as demonstrated through the peaceful formation of Amotekun by the Yoruba or violence as executed by the Igbo through the declaration of war on Nigeria. No middle ground.

Do you know the criteria for admission into the university?

Have you tried to get in touch with the admission officers and find reasons?

Did you advice the girl before choosing Abu as her school of choice? If yes, did you make some research before doing so?
I won't start telling you Abu admission modus operandi or the protocol she follows in admitting candidate. You can find out on your own.

I'll say it's your/her fault that you didn't know that O-level is not a standard or test by which candidate's composite is calculated in Abu. So far you have the minimum of credit in your relevant subjects, you are good to go. So save us that 6 A1s.

Her jamb score(302) and postume(278) gives her an average of 290 (which is very good I must say) but this is Abu. The most chosen university in Nigeria after unilorin according to Jamb. Don't forget she's as well aspiring for the most competitive course in the institution, medicine. I can boldly say the girl has more than 12000 competitors.

Due to the mode of admission that Abu adopts ( Federal character), admission based on catchments, I would not be able to give cut off marks.

Let's just take top schools probably in same circle with Abu like UI, OAU, UNILAG, UNN who released their cutoff marks for MBBS for example, none of them pegged her MBBS cutoff at an average less than 310 or equivalent. That's just the level of competitiveness of the course this days. Anything below 300 average is rarely enough for a course like MBBS in most federal universities in Nigeria. Most candidates you see admitted to MBBS are not given on their first trial, meanwhile they've had countless 300+. They just never gave up on their dreams.

I'll advice she try harder and be better next year. She can and will do it. Her 290 average is good but not enough to get him MBBS in Abu. Thanks

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Goodness Thomas the Valedictorian of St. Clement Secondary School, Gbaiko Minna, Niger State for year 2019.
This girl here scored 302 in her JAMB, 278 in Post UTME at the ABU Zaria. She has 6 A1s in her WAEC yet ABU Zaria denied her admissions to study her course of choice, Medicine and Surgery.
My question is, who were those admitted? What did they score? How many of those people scored 300+ in JAMB? Goodness is just another victim of Nigeria's preference for mediocrity in disguise of quota system. If we must make meaningful progress as a nation, we must begin to encourage excellence.
Twas her birthday yesterday and as her former teacher, I felt obliged to let the world know for this injustice. I believe that Social Media can be a tool for positive change.
I therefore, call on the management of the Amadu Bello University Zaria to review this case and grant her the admission she deserves or at least tell the public what their admission criteria is for the Medicine and Surgery department of their school.
Please help me share this till a management staff of ABU Zaria or the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board sees this.

Any move by Buhari to promote the interests of the Fulani above those of the other nationalities amounts to a declaration of war on them and they have the right to fight back . It is obtaining conquest through the back door ; Buhari using federal might to Subdue other nationalities to elevate Fulani is a treason . Buhari and his Handlers must tread carefully

It would be suicidal for any politician to come down south and joke about land, cows and Buhari. For now Aso Rock, APC, Ministries and all government institutions should steer clear of the words Buhari, Land and Cows in Southern Nigeria. They connotes evil, bloodshed and internal colonialism. Presidency image makers must act fast.

We used to hear about boko haram, then followed by killer herdsmen. Now bandits have entered the scene. All in the north. Is there an agenda being played out? Can the north survive all these? However RUGA in the south is the main concern of Buhari.

Why should APC in Yoruba Land still get itself involved in vote buying despite its years in power? The answer is simple: Tinubu and his disciples have understudied the almajiri system in the north, adapted it and ruthlessly reinforced it . Millions of Yoruba people have been impoverished and financially vulnerable. They are then made to believe that they can be lifted from poverty by supporting APC. Their survival is tied to their support for APC and ensuing APC retains power . They are given one excuse after the other while they still remain poor. The cycle continues election year after election year. Meanwhile Tinubu drives private jet.
His cronies and disciples are positioned in various government positions while the poor masses suffer. In Awolowo's days party members contributed money to the party. However in Tinubu's time the party doled out money to party members? The question now is this: What political ideology drives Tinubu?

The road Tinubu is about to travel now is familiar to Obasanjo . However it appears Tinubu is not well versed in Nigeria's politics and is therefore daydreaming. Can Tinubu be more pro-north than Obasanjo? What has Tinubu done for the so-called north that makes him think he is adored by them? How much sacrifice can Tinubu make to please the north compared to what Obasanjo has done?
While Obasanjo definitely has his flaws it is better to trust his judgement on the current political situation in Nigeria . Has Tinubu observed how the Lords of the manor called Nigeria turned Obasanjo to their punching bag despite all he has done for them? Who is then Tinubu? Should I say Tinubu is foolish or naïve? Can't Tinubu read the handwriting on the wall.?
As things stand now in Yoruba Land Tinubu can. never be at the forefront of pushing Yoruba agenda in the project Nigeria. Should Tinubu continue like this Yoruba would be worse off than the Hausa: Tinubu by 2023 would be a prince without a kingdom and the Yoruba would be slaves in their land . Tinubu has played his role and should leave the scene . A war is ravaging Yoruba Land and Tinubu cannot lead the Yoruba at war front
