Sincerely speaking, your hunger is just starting, in fact you will all die of that hunger.
Senseless workers, they should learn from Benue workers what they did to Suswan.
Instead of taking their destiny into their hands they allowed sentiment to overshadow their sense of judgement. Shouting change all around meanwhile hunger is gradually killing them one by one.

Politics / Re: Fayose’s Victory: Gunshots, Wild Jubilation In Ekiti by buragidi(m): 5:55pm On Apr 14, 2015
Segun Oni later became governor under PDP amidst the controversy of coming 3rd in the primary election of PDP. His victory at poll was challenged by Kayode Fayemi, his ACN main opponent, by this time Fayose, who has been declared wanted by EFCC for various allegations has come back in grand style to hand himself over to EFCC for interogation and he was released on bail. On arrival, he mantained that Oni had no right to govern Ekiti because he lost the primary election. He teamed up with Fayemi, campaigned and mobilised for him during the re-election that sent Oni parking.

Fayemi wanted him to stay in ACN, he declined that he cannot function in a party where there is no internal democracy and somebody in Lagos just determines the fate of others. He moved to Labour party with an intention to run for the senatorial election in Ekiti central. He had an agreement with Fayemi, that since he worked for him in the re-run election, ACN should not feed any candidate against him in the senatorial election, but rather work with him to defeat the PDP candidate. Fayemi agreed before the his election, but immediately he won, he broke the agreement. ACN now fielded Femi Ojudu against Fayose, rigged for him and Fayose lost the senatorial election. THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE SUICIDE MISSION OF ACN/APC IN EKITI STATE.

Fayemi had no humilating opposition throughout his reign, hence no excuse to fail, but he was just a visionless leader. Forget about the media hype. Fayemi remains the worst governor in the history of Ekiti State. His era was characterised with strong misplacement of priority, wasteful spending and lack of accountability. It was a period of tears and gnashing of teeth for the civil servants in Ekiti. Throughout his administration, nobody was paid gratuity in Ekiti State, civil servants were owed salary and he pulmeted the state into huge debts that will be paid by generation unborn in the state. Instead of borrowing money for income-generating and self-financing project, he borrowed over N3billion to build Government house (when nothing is wrong with the existing one) for a state that could not pay salary and gets just N2.5bill as allocation.

He was always at logger head with the civil servants. He threatened and blackmailed teachers into writing re-certification Exams which they blatantly refused. Civil servants were subjected to the activities of Attendants Officers who behave in a 'boko-haramic' manner by harrasing life out of even directors. If you are not available to mark attendance sheet by 7:30am, you are a gonner. You will see Directors jumping over fence to be able to meet attendants officers who are junior officers. To Kayode Fayemi, Ekiti people needed to be disciplined at all cost, even if they had to be handle like primary 3 children.

This was the time Fayose arrived the scene for re-election in 2014. Ekiti people who were already tired of Fayemi's missrule remember the good old days of Fayose. They see him as someone who fights their battle against the greedy rich who are out to milk Ekiti dry. They remembered he was always paying their salaries. They remembered He started dualization of Ado-Ekiti Road. They remember he bult schools. They remembered he constructed roads. Of course the remembered he insulted some Kings who wanted to use him To Molest the state's treasury, but they beleive he did it for their sake. They saw him as the generalsimo of the Ekiti masses. During the election, he beat Fayemi hands down despite the propaganda of caling him thug, a fraudster and a muderer. Tht worked on the psych of non-ekiti indigenes, but Ekiti people knows the truth and unfortunately, it is the Ekiti people tht voted.

Before inauguration, the APC used every available strategies to scuttle his inaguration, including arm-twisting the judiciary, put Ekiti people resisted it. When they failed, they resorted to using the house to frustrate his government (even before inauguration, they had be boasting they will impeach him because they control majority in the house, even though six decamped on inauguration day)

Through the 7 members of the Assembly, a political strategy was used to frustrate the 19 who were APC members and bent on frustrting the government and instead of standing their grand, they quickly went to the court to challenge the suspension of their speaker. THIS ANOTHER GREAT UNDOING, BECAUSE UNTILL COURT PRONOUNCEMENT, HE REMAINED SUSPENDED.

They remained in Lagos and people of Ekiti formed an opinion that they are enemies of progress who only wish to distrupt the peace of the State for their selfish interest. The Kings of their towns had to place curses on some of them. As I write, they cannot walk freely in Ekiti. Some cannot even visit their home towns for the fear of been lynched.

Immediately, they had Buhari won election, they mobilized down to the state, fully armed with a view to commence impeachment and they were prevented. They had a kangaroo sitting somewhere and they circulated impeachment notice online. It was not recognized by the governor, neither by the judge because there is a procedural error, moreso that they have taken their case to court, the speaker had no power to do anything untill the court says his suspension was wrong. The major objective of their activities was to create an atmosphere of chaos in Ekiti-State as to prevent the conduct of the last saturday HOA election, but the good people of Ekiti resisted them.

The election was conducted and PDP won all the 26 HOA election. That is the end of discussion and brings silences the kangaroo inpeachment plot.

CAN FAYOSE BE IMPEACHED BY THE INCOMING HOA BY BETRAYING HIM?

The possibility is less than 1%
(1) Fayose specifically selected all those who contested under PDP and they are his core loyalist

(2) He ensured most of them are not people of very sound ideology and intellect. We have highlife musicians, cultura dancer, photographers among them, though there are medical doctors too. but more of people with low exposure

(3) He used his personal money to buy nomination forms and run campaign for them.

(4) They are made to sign undated resignation letter submitted to him before the election

(5) Immediately they won the election, they all took an oath with 'omi-ibon' invoking the spirit of 'ogun' the god of iron and 'sango' the god of thunder anyday they just consider plotting against the governor, then the gods should visit them amd their families with shameful death. (The same thing Fayemi did when he was elected governor)

So how do they want to be bought over? Fayose knows his onions and people who are saying he will be impeached. Sit down dia and be dreaming. When he said you will need to impeach God and Ekiti people before you can impeach him, you think he did not know what he was saying? Ekiti people are tired of APC. They have discovered that their stock-in-trade are lies, deceit and propaganda. Ekiti-State is like a damsel that has been opportuned to stay with two different husbands at different time and she no knows who really have her interest at heart. Ekiti people have been opportuned to carry water and compared with the weight of oil, they now know which one is heavier. I only hope APC will not apply Fayemi's template in the running of the affairs of Nigeria and other states they will govern, because if they do, it will be a case of changing from frying pan to fire.

Once again, I congratulate Gov. Ayodele Fayose, the good people of Ekiti State and the entire Nigeria. This is democracy at work.

donem:

Nice one pls dont keep me waiting, i look foreward to the completion of this epic story.

No wonder Fayose is termed "Ekiti Jumong" he is a living legend.

This is Victory for democracy and I congratulate the good people of Ekiti.

WHY AYO FAYOSE? some folks have been wondering and asking. I believe this little exposition will open your eyes beyond media propaganda of the media.

In 1999, Adeniyi Adebayo was the governor of EKITI STATE under ALLIANCE FOR DEMOCRACY (AD). Adebayo won election on a platter of gold not because he was popular but because of his father's recognition and AD reputation as AWOLOWO's party and no south west state would be in opposition to the party.

Adebayo's rule was characterised with gross failure, mismanagement of fund and 'paddy-paddy' government (despite the fact that PDP was not a humilating opposition). The elites, who now form E11, and some traditional rulers connived with Adebayo to loot the state dry! Civil servants were owed salaries in months, health services was luxury and potable water was beyond the reach of the common man!

During this time, a man came from the back of beyond and started erecting signpost everywhere in Ekiti State 'AYO FAYOSE FOR GOVERNOR' 'WHO IS AYO FAYOSE?'. That was 1999, 4 yrs to another election. He backed up his publicity with action by running free mobile health services and potable water for the peple of Ekiti. He saw the failure of Adebayo's government and capitalised on it. For four years, he used his own money to run parallel government for Ekiti people. Adebayo mistook him for jester because he beleived incumbent could never loose an election and no yoruba state will vote for PDP. I don't want to bore you with the politics of how he won the PDP primary against SK Babalola, a personal friend of Obj, but in the general election, he beat Adebayo hands-down in 2003! Of course, it is logical, you have a failed gocernment for 4 yrs and someone who is not in govt is solving your problems with his own money, will he not make sense to kukuma elect the person as your governor?

He took over in 2003 and the looters of Ekiti, the E11 and some traditional rulers who were siphoning Ekiti resources through Adebayo came to meet him thinking it was going to be business as usual, but to their disappointment, Fayose told them off, then the battle-line was drawn. They deployed ll resources to fight him and the more the fought him, the stronger he hit them back. They started with his HND certificate scandal which he overcame. They employed the media and he fought back. From his 1st day in office till when he left, it was from one battle to another. Despite that, he was developing the state. He started the dualization of Ado-Ekiti, paid all the debts of Adebayo, strenghtened the health sector, make unprecendeted improvement in education and agriculture with lots of road construction all through the state. Then, in every three months, Obj will have reason to come down to Ekiti to commission one project or the other. That was why he was christianed "the Architect of the modern Ekiti State' May I also state that latest, by 26th of the month, civil servants have received their salaries in full. allowances were paid promptly and condition of service improved.

He was in war with the elites and some kabiyesis who wished to continue to milk the state dry. In 2006, they succeeded in buying over the house of assembly and an impeachment notice was served on him after promising the speaker, Friday Aderemi that he would be the governor in his stead. The Chief judge constituted a panel of inquiry which discharged the governor of any wrong doing. Dissatisfied with the result of the panel, the HOA, unconstitutionaly removed the Chief judge that did their bid by constituting another panel which now indicted Fayose and pronounced him impeached.

Fayose insisted he was still the governor since the HOA has no power in law to remove and appoint judges, since he was then already out of favour with OBJ, he was stripped off his security details. He was now a governor in the government house without security. He received a call that some people were coming to assasinate him in the govt. house, he had to jump over fence and run to exile.

Immediately his whereabout was not known, the speaker (who is now late) declared himself the governor and the Deputy governor said she was the governor in the absence of the governor. This led to a declaration of State of emmergency in the state by Obasanjo, for which Olurin was made the administrator.

Politics / Re: Impeachment: Deputy Gov, Others Block Ekiti Assembly Entrances by buragidi(m): 10:32am On Apr 07, 2015
double0seven:

My Friend, get education. Fayose was never impeached in 2006. Court has already upheld that.

The fact of the matter:
After the then Speaker of the House Rt. (Hon) Friday Aderemi, now late was promised the post of acting governor upon Fayose's impeachment, a notice of impeachment was served on Governor Fayose and copied to the Chief Judge of the state, the judiciary constituted a panel of enquiry as required by law.

The panel investigated allegations against him and discharged him of all allegations (That automatically quashed the impeachment process legally)

Dissatisfied by the report of the judicial panel, the HOA took law into their hand by removing the chief judge and appointing the one that is loyal to them. This is gross illegality. HOA has no power to remove and appoint judges.

The newly appointed judge constituted a panel which now indicted Fayose and on that ground, the HOA claimed he had been effectively impeached.

Fayose said he remained a governor because the process of impeachment was illegal. But by then, he had fallen out of favour with Obasanjo, so the FG illegally stripped him off his security aides and the assembly guys were threatening why FG was fighting him.

When he discovered he could loose his life, he jumped over Government house fence at night and ran away to safe his life.

Immediately he was found to have disappeared, the Speaker declared himself as the governor and the deputy governor claimed in the absence of the Governor, she remained the governor. It was a turbulent time in Ekiti.

Obasanjo then declared a State of emmergency in Ekiti and made hi brother, Tunji Olurin the Administrator, sacking all democratic structures

It was later revealed that the reason Obj chose Olurin was because he had an ambition of contesting against Iyabo Obasanjo in senatorial primary of PDP and he was mustering weight. So Ekiti was an opportunity to take him out picture

Fayose had since challenged his impeachment in court and it has been upheld that he was never impeached in the first instance since the panel that indicted him was constituted by a judge who was illagally appointed, so since you cannot build illegality on legality, all his action were null and void. In law, it is described as Ex Nihilo, nihili fit.
If the 19 lawmakers don't get him, the court will definitely remove him. it is definite because it is a straightforward case. The law stipulates that I'd impeached, you cannot come back and contest until after a period of 10 years passes. it's so simple.

You are irredeemably pathetic. So because Jonathan did not attend in 2011 is now a reason for GMB to be running from debates? Who is suppose to attend debates if not GMB, this is a man who is in the opposition trying to sell himself that he is better than the incumbent. This is a man with a barrage of punches on his integrity ranging from certificate forgery to perjury and many lies. This is a man who has searchlight been turned on him for senility, cancer, boko-haram sponsorship, intellectual laziness and many more and all you can said is since Jonathan did not debate in 20011 its ok for him not to debate. Do you know how many Nigerians voters are still undecided about whom to vote for. Honestly, you are irredeemably pathetic!
berem:
yes! He was also scared in 2011 when Jonathan refused to debate with him. undecided

Politics / Re: Buhari And Osinbajo Enjoying Breakfast Together by buragidi(m): 9:18am On Feb 02, 2015
Honestly, I think Osinbanjo has backslided. What happens to

2 Corinthians 6:14 in the Bible

" Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness"

Besides, when he is suppose to be participating in the RCCG 40days fasting and prayer ending on 10th February, He is busy eating break-fast all over the place with with a fanatic aboki reputed for extremism. If you ask me, I will say Many things are wrong with Osinbanjo.

(1) As a Professor of Law, you have no problem being a Vice President to a man who (a) has no Secondary School Certificate (b)) Who lied to all Nigerians that he has what he has not (c) who perjured by deposing an afidavit on the same fake information (d) Who connived with his secondary school authority to forge a WASC result to deceive Nigeria (e) Who, despite the fact that all he needs to proof all this allegations wrong is to send a 3 lines letter with affidavit and police report to Cambridge on his 'missing' WASC and get a tenable replacement, refuse
(f) Who is running away from public scrutiny in all debates (including the one to be orgainized by his most trusted Channels Television because of senility and many sins)

(2) Also as a Pastor, who is suppose to be fasting, eating breakfast all the place with the grand patron of Boko Haram (forget not that Boko Haram also named his among one of those who should negotiate on his behalf which he denied having any link with them-I wonder why they did not mention my father-after which he organized a camouflage 'boko-haram' attack on his convoy-which he claimed he narrowly excaped-i wonder if He is a James bond that it was only him that could escape Boko attack. Who is fooling who). I just hope Osibanjo's uncontrolled appetite will not make him to eat poison prepared Buhari one day.

I think the G.O of RCCG, as the Shepperd of Osibanjo should honestly pray and seek for a way to bring his sould back to the fold because he is acting as a lost sheep.

Jobs/Vacancies / Presidency May Cancel Nigerian Immigration Service Recruitment by buragidi(m): 1:14pm On Sep 27, 2013
The current recruitment excercise into the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) is mostly likely to be canceled next week by President Goodluck Jonathan based on the controversy and public outcry against the N1,000 processing charges being collected from each applicant. Even though the Service claims that the amount charged for scratch cards is paid to their recruitment Consultants, the National Association of Unemployed Youth have put a serious resistance against the Charges. Apart from writing a petition to the Presidency and National Assembly against the charge, the President of the Association, Solomon Adodo and his Publicity Secretary appeared on 99.5fm Nigerian info (talk, news and sport station) yesterday evening on Kimberly Nwachukwu's show and articulated the bitterness of the unemployed against the charge. According to Mr. Solomon, it is the height of wickedness from the government to ask the unemployed to pay money to apply for job. He stated further that the sum of N1,000 charged appear immaterial (even though it is still a huge sum to some job seekers with no source of income) but when the sum is multiplied by the number of the unemployed, it translates into billions of Naira. According to him, the number of unemployed is put at 40million. If say 5% applied and pay N1,000 each, immigration would have raised a sum of N2 billion from the unemployed. He beleived this is extortion. He clarified further that even if the fund is for the consultant, it is like issuing the Consultant a blank cheque to raise billions of Naira from the 40million unemployed Nigerians. He stated further that the cost of recruitment consulting should be the responsibility of the employers and not that of the job seeker. In his words "if this administraton could dole out billions of Naira to the Niger-delta millitants who are nothing but criminals and proposed to dole out even more to the Boko-Haram members in the north for carrying out arms against the State, would it be out of tune for government to pay the consultants fee for recruiting the unemployed Nigerians? What the unemployed is facing in this Country is enough to make him take up arms. This is some one who has acquired education and good skills, yet has no job. Many are homeless and beg to feed but still remain law abiding citizens in the midst of their plights, yet all the government could think about is to look for ways to extort money from these set of people in the name of providing jobs. This is unfair and unacceptale. We shall use everything at our disposal, including the law, to stop it". Many Nigerians phoned-in and passionatelly condemned the charge. It was really a very heated discussion as Nigerians vented their anger against what many described height of inhumanity by people who enjoyed free education and selected jobs during their days. A twist was eventually brought into the discussion when the Special Adviser to President Jonathan on Job creation, Josephine Washima called-in to hear her views on the matter. She started by commending the President and the publicity Secretary (who she claims to be well-known to her) for their passion and commitment to the course of the unemployed youth. She stated further that her submissions on the matter is the insider's (government) view as she speaks on her authority as the SA to Mr. President. She mentioned that it is against the Nigeria labour law for any would-be employer to charge potential employee any money under any guise even befor the employment contract. She said as such, the presidency have met and decided to stop the recruitment excercise in the Nigeria Immigration Services. She further said anyone who has paid in any Bank for the excercise would have his/her money refunded. According to her, the official announcement would be made next week on resumption from independence public holiday. She stressed further that the arguement of some of the recruting government Institution is that they do not have budget for recruitment in the year but have staff needs. She also said that not only government should be blame for this extortion but also Banks that are used as conduit pipe to collect this money. She mentioned further that it is not solely a leadership problem but a societal decadence as she mentioned a case of a syndicate in the eastern part of the country which opened Account in a Bank in the name of Head of Service of Federation to siphon money from unsuspecting job seekers. She enjoined all Nigerians to report similar cases to the government. In his closing remarks, Mr. Solomon, while descibing the SA's view as victory for the unemployed expressed his gratitude to the her for the hope she has brought for the unemployed. He was however quick to point out that there is no sense scrapping the recruitment as millionns of Nigerians need job but only that they should not be made to pay any charge while the recruitment itself should be free, fair and devoid of god-fatherism
