I got my call up no immediately I paid my 4k but the sms came after 24hrs. So just relax if you don't get an sms... you will confirm when the name comes out in school.

I am worried and confused and don't know what to make of dis. Pls someone in d house shuld pls advice me on what to do.

just be patient for some time... if according to what you said, that your name was among the mobilization list. If you didn't get it on or before tuesday, you will just exercise patient till Thursday when the list will be out in school to check... for now there is nothing you can do... if actually your name was sent by your school, you will definitely get ur call up no.

For me I don't see any reason why Buhari should contest after been defeated several times. I think Nigeria don't need the old blood any longer but a fresh and vibrant man that can transform the country.
Nigeria need change but not certainly from Buhari... He should just stay away from competitive politics and act more as an Elder states man... That's my opinion.

I was among those who never wanted to pay the said amount of 4k but when I consider one or two things, I decided to pay. I don't want anything to be use against me in future.
Right now am working on where I will be posted to which is either Delta or Lagos. It gives me more time to plan and process things...
My advise for my fellow PCMs... Please if you have the money just pay but if you don't have kindly wait till Thursday or Friday when it will be pasted in various schools

NIGERIA can never get better, at worst i will leave their camp 4 them. so we tht refuse to pay wont get to sleep on bed, have access to camp food, they will force us to do extra military training or wont get to attend the camp fire night?

I don't know about that... just pay if you ve or relax till 15 if you dont...

I just want to urge those guys that have the said 4k to pay... I know what I am saying... from the secret report I got, those that didn't pay the said amount will be victimized by the NYSC body... My guy from NYSC even advise me to pay...
My school is just 50 naira from my home... but I had no option than to pay the amount. I just paid and in less than 1min, my call up number was sent to me...
My tension was finally laid to rest...
Please if you have the money just pay to avoid any form of stress and undue pains later but if you don't have you can patiently wait till 15.
Just be wise than being smart...

I have no doubt in my mind that government are not sincere when it comes to education and they keep saying graduates are incompetent. They never allocate funds to the sector that will bring about total transformation to the sector which will produce the best in all area of endeavours, and they keep saying Nigeria will become the top 20th economy in the world in the year 2020. I don't see how Nigeria will go that far if the government keep paying lip service to the sector.
I am still surprised that in this modern time, we still have schools without chairs, bad roofs and even without laboratory. I wonder how student will learn properly in such poor environment. I was surprised to see a school like this called Oromenike Secondary School ( picture below) in River state today. It was a show of shame...I couldn't believe my eyes because I came for a visit.
I know River state to be an oil producing state and also among the state with the highest allocation from federal government... I wonder why such state will not channel funds into its education sector.
How will student learn in such an unfriendly environment? How do the government expect the student to bring out their best and become academic guru in such environment? Must everybody go to private schools? What now happen to those that can't afford the fees in private schools? Is it because their children don't attend such schools? Some many questions are really begging for answers
I must say that the government has failed in transforming the education sector and if they keep paying lip service to such an important sector, the country might never get to the top even in a century.
Government at all levels should wake up from their slumber and recognize that education is the key to societal development and also know that any country that refused investing in education never developed.

That's the kind of society we find ourselves. Those with brains are not encourage with handsome reward but those that are into beauty pargent or talent show are given millions.
Imagine a nationwide university competition winner will be given a laptop and 100k whereas a talent hunt or beauty competition winner will be given millions or naira and a car. How will this encourage the younger ones to read their books? That's why everybody want to go into entertainment this days... everybody want to sing, go for beauty shows and to... because that's what the society support and give attention to than those that study their books to come out best.

it won't have any implication as far there is money in the card. What they are interested in is the money not the owner of the card.
So feel free to use any card provided, there is money.

None of these points depict poverty. A man that makes his food with firewood isn't poor. He is simply using another cooking alternative. Gas is cheaper than Kerosine. In some places, firewood cost more than Gas.

A man that always use public transport to his destination isn't poor. What do you expect him to use? Private Jet? Lol, this has to be the du. mbest assertion I've ever heard in my life. Are you aware the daily expenses on these transits can feed you?

So if you live 2 minutes to your workplace, rather than "trek", you'd hire a private jet to convey you just to prove to people who do not care that you've arrived?

I see your write up... His workplace is 2minutes work from his home... I just laugh when people see the truth and try to bend it... Even if you use 5k to transport everyday, the fact you couldn't get a private car tell so many things about you... have you wore a suit before? When you wear a suit and start struggling for public transport in a hot day, you will know it's more than suffering...

Poverty starts in the mind and you are full of it. many people will stay poor because they are trying to be who they arent OR do what they cannot.
there is NOTHING wrong in living in a face me i face you, so long as this is what you can afford for yourself, and live a decent life. the fact that you regard ANYONE living in such place as poor shows us all that you are the one with the delusion syndrome

furthermore, some women out there are reckless with money, especially the ones who have never earn a decent salary in their lives. the foolish man is the one that would rather give money to this reckless wife instead of having a discussion with her about her reckless spending. the bigger foolish man is the one that believes that if you are careful with your money then you must automatically be poor.

There are some certain things you do that make people see you as a poor man. When you see a man in certain situation or doing some of these things, you no longer need a prophet to tell you the man is poor.

1 if he lives in a face me I face you apartment.
2. If he always have misunderstanding with his wife based on money.
3. If he "treks" to to work on a daily basis.
4. If he always use public transport to his destination.
5. If he still fetch water with bucket to the bathroom.
6.If he still wait on the queue to use the toilet or take his bath.
7 If his neighbour always know the kind of food he prepares or eat on a daily basis.
8. If the rest room is outside the main house. So at night the man or woman has to find somebody to escort them... for fear of the unknown.
9.If he has many grown up children but none is educated.
10. If he or the wife uses firework on a daily basis to cook. Even if they want to boil a cup of water, they have to rely on firewood.
Poverty is really a bad syndrome, it reduces everything about a man... even up to his libido... This is the simple reason why ladies look and scrutinized before they get married. No body wants to associate with a poor life
