I have been to the NIN office here in Asaba but they keep mentioning change of "date" of birth even when I tell them "place" of birth. I do not want to change the date, I want to change the "place" of birth. A wrong place of birth was recorded in my NIN and I need to make changes to it to apply for international passport.

Event the online modification site does not include change of "place" of birth.

Anybody here done change of "place" of birth? Please help.

If you can get the repack for these games it will work, as for the steam OLED and current new LCD steam decks are having problems running games effectively. If you got an old model hold it strong, having used the ROG ally unless one is based abroad it isn't worth having, too many issues with the hardware, great device but if you press buttons hand or got butter fingers and one isn't the type to let the console cool properly before putting in it's pouch then one might have issues later on, Asus has long time issue of not following up on updates for their devices.


If you have a steam deck and you don't play official games from steam , avoid any updates and stick to proton 7.04 and experimental

For me the lenovo legion go is the best out there but only the steam deck is the one with parts easily available here in Nigeria but not as powerful as the Ally but with enough tweaking it does well

Most of the games that don't work on the steam deck are multiplayer game, so a repack won't let you play online.

The rog ally has been constantly updated and the software are great now, apart from the SD card issues.

Trust me, you don't want the Legion Go. It has horrible software, poor ergonomics, speakers and loud fans.

They're not much, but I'll mention the ones I know. Games like Fifa, Fortnite, Destiny 2 and COD Modern Warfare III do not work because the game devs refuse to support Linux anti-cheat system. If you dual boot windows, it'll work. For me, it plays all the games I really want to play works.

Go for the rog ally if you want a more powerful system with windows and without anti-cheat issues, but the Deck's Steam OS has the best software experience in any handheld out there. It's like a console.

It's Linux, so not all games support its anti cheat system. That's the only thing I see, apart from that the steam deck has been a wonderful system for me.

The other Handhelds like the Rog ally, Aya Neos, One x fly and the upcoming Legion go might be more powerful but they still run windows as their os and windows is not a very friendly gaming os on handhelds.

Yeah, that's true. No handle comes close for the deck in software. I wanted to wait for the deck 2. I have a steam deck, but the Legion Go looks very tempting.

Yeah i do. I no longer have the luxury of sitting in front of TV to game due to day to day/life activities. I can always pick up a game where i left off on my deck with just the press of a button, while laying down on my bed.

It's not easy to get a job not to talk of LMIA. That's a huge uncertainty. He's better off with this job offer in Nigeria until he gets a proper visa.

Yeah, a lot to learn! The only reason why I buy some games is because of steam achievement and displaying play time.

Wow! It totally feels good to know that there's a thread for steam deck owners. I just got a SD, 512GB variant. I've only been getting games from the Steam store, which can be expensive.

I've bought some games, but most of my games are cracked. There are a lot of fun tweaks to install to get the most of your deck. Check out decky loader, cryoutilities, and Lutris.

You should probably look into upgrading your ssd as well.
And it's a handled, don't expect it to run like an Rtx 4090

You can do that in desktop mode with Lutris or Heroic Launcher. Mind you, steam deck uses steam OS which is based on Linux, so you have to use compatibility layers to play windows games. Lutris does the job.

Yes, I increased the VRAM for cryoutilities.

I've neither undervolted or overlocked. I'm okay with the performance and power consumption at the moment.

Oh, alright. But these ain't emulators. Cryoutilities tools boosts overall performance and decky loader is a plugin that brings in lots of features.
