Ca08abe: Thanks for all useful information everyone.IELTS is compulsory for every applicant. If you have experience as a financial and investment analyst for a minimum of one year, you can apply for NOC 1112, but bear in mind the cap for NOC 1112 is already filled. |
Godson201333: I am sorry to tell you that you have been denied the Visa..They just want you to come to the embassy to pick up your documents and also they will tell you that your visa application was rejected because they doubt your intention of studying in Germany. But he never said he was going for a student visa.Although he made his case to look quite complicated let's just give him the benefit of doubt and see the outcome. @Odinakaprince Keep the house updated.Goodluck |
alexito48201: Application mailed on the 4th of June and received by cic on the 11th of June. File number was received on the 29th of August. To God be the Glory and is my prayer that all members of this forum will receive positive response from cic.Congrats |
@barinnbomi You have to endeavor to put in ur app ASAP becos Civil engineers ( NOC 2131) is turning out to be one of the hottest and many people are applying everyday from especially India, Pakistan and Middle East and i tell you this people are applying in droves.Btw my NOC is 2131 so just felt I should advise a professional colleague and a fellow countryman. |
suckermaterial: pls, l have interview on 16 th of Sept at German embassy. thi is my question; if embassy should ask me what I was doing immediate after my school (B.Eng), is it good for me to tell them that an working. The best thing is to be honest about it.In my own case I said I have been working. After a series of other questions the old lady asked me why it too me so long to go for postgraduate studies and I replied that I desired to gain adequate experience in my field before further studies and she was ok with it, she also asked me my monthly salary in euro. So whatever you answer be prepared for the follow-up questions. |
martty4real: Hi peeps am a first timer ,am not very sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have a question and need your answers/feedback or experience which ever.Relax, you will definitely hear from them soon. I was interview on the 16th of Aug and received the email today. |
Tamax: Congrat bro.. I think iGi insurance is the cheapestOk, thanks. |
nkenyy: Congrats, please what date was your interviewThanks! 16th August. ganasy: congratulations.....ours too is on the waySurely! |
I just got an email from the embassy, requesting that I come with a travel health insurance. To all the wonderful guys on this thread, I appreciate ur contribution especially Topeajis, my guy, you don't know what you did for me by providing the link to the acct. opening forms as the email request I made to bank has not been replied till date.Pls, those who have done the insurance, kindly recommend the cheapest that is also accepted at the embassy. Thanks! |
Cap updated again.http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp It's been updated thrice this week. |
222rayo: my NOC is 1434,please will I qualify and how often do they do the programe.Check your NOC again, I don't think the one your posted is among the list of eligible occupations for this period. |
Angel Diamond: My food usually last for months....i guess am a better food lover than you are...for taking loads of them along.....heheheWhen did you go to Germany? |
ferdimako: Wow,you tried oh...just listening messed up.One point would've set you free! You can re-register! This is a conspiracy!IELTS conspiring with CIC to rip off intending immigrants, very good theory, hahaha.I think the listening can be very tricky, if you miss any point there's no chance of recovery. |
Please this issue of WAEC direct card, for those who obtained their O/level in the 90s, is it possible to verify their result using the card and is it still required for those going for masters? topeajis,Godson,Kelly etc, pls clarify |
Guys, sheath your swords. Almaliki, na wa for u o, u wan fill the thread with another person's post? |
mercylicious: I sneaked to Futo (my sch ) from work yesterday.[quote author=mercylicious]Futo stress! So you r a Futo babe, which dept and year?I went through the same thing for 2 months before I was able to get my evaluation from WES. Don't give them any breathing space o, I was going there 2 times every week from PH following from table to table, I hope you have somebody who can follow up for you.Goodluck! |
Godson201333: I woul say NO wait till you have the full money so that you can be sure of everything and make your transfer once.I don't agree with you, you can do transfer in instalments , moreover some banks wouldn't allow you to transfer more than 5,000 Euro at once. |
Dehonourable: Helo house. My questn is dis; is it compulsory date evry visa applicant must provide a scratch card even if one is going for Masters degree. Secondly, does one require to pay for d scratch card @ d embassy or to buy it personal then go to embassy wit it. Which one is 500 naira I heard again. PlsPlease someone should try and answer this question. |
Does the requirement for " WEAC Direct Access Card" also apply to those going for master's? |
I am now cleared pls ignore the question. |
ferdimako: 3,060AUD? That is not too much. How much is Canadian's? Again FWSP's 10,000CAD deposit evidence for settling down is not friendly to me oh.The Canadian app fee is just 550 CAD for a single applicant.the deposit is still ur money any way it goes. |
ferdimako: Thanks.I just hope Abuja center is in shape when it comes to headset usage (not what they acted last time, I'll still ring them before booking) if not I may go to PH. You gave me more than I expected! It looks like Canadian PR route has taken you.All the best. The application fee for the Australian PR scared me away. |
@ferdimako, the centre in ph has good headsets, but one secret to scoring high in the listening is to read the questions and have them in mind as you are listening.Try and pick the answers as the tape is playing , if you miss anything don't make any attempt to try to remember or you will miss whatever is being said at that point in time.for the writing practice writing essays and get somebody (maybe an English teacher) to look at them. For reading, that was the cheapest for me , practice ordinary level English comprehension.for speaking , just use simple grammar, avoid hesitation while speaking and ensure your tenses are always correct. Just practice and don't worry about what you will score, am sure you will make at it easily, English language is what you have been using since nursery school. |
@LadyGuinivere, pls when am I likely to receive the hard copy of my WES evaluation report after the email notification I received on 19th of July stating that the evaluation had been completed, bear in mind I chose international express for mailing. |
After much hassles with the lousy workers in my school, WES has finally completed my evaluation today, pls when am I likely to get the hard copy, btw I upgraded to international express for the delivery. |
I see OANDO going up soon, moreover it looks good as a long term stock with their diversification into the power sector and acquisition of OMLs. |
emeka55: Hello house, pls does anyone know of University still accepting applications for masters (winter semester)? Most of the ones I checked out have their deadlines 15th July and I won't meet up. Any information will be appreciatedSome people can ask very funny and pathetic questions. |
Still waiting for WES na wa oo. |
LadyGuinivere: Yes U can. Keep d account funded with d appropriate amountOk.Thanks! |
