Ca08abe: Thanks for all useful information everyone.
Please is the IELST test compulsory even when one has a bachelors degree plus a masters degree from a UK university?

I mean considering the fact that one schooled in an English speaking country.

Secondly can accounting and financial management be classified under the 1112 financial and investment analyst group?

Thirdly, is a 2 year work experience enough to qualify me?
Thank you
IELTS is compulsory for every applicant. If you have experience as a financial and investment analyst for a minimum of one year, you can apply for NOC 1112, but bear in mind the cap for NOC 1112 is already filled.

I am sorry to tell you that you have been denied the Visa..They just want you to come to the embassy to pick up your documents and also they will tell you that your visa application was rejected because they doubt your intention of studying in Germany.
But he never said he was going for a student visa.Although he made his case to look quite complicated let's just give him the benefit of doubt and see the outcome.

suckermaterial: pls, l have interview on 16 th of Sept at German embassy. thi is my question; if embassy should ask me what I was doing immediate after my school (B.Eng), is it good for me to tell them that an working.
The best thing is to be honest about it.In my own case I said I have been working. After a series of other questions the old lady asked me why it too me so long to go for postgraduate studies and I replied that I desired to gain adequate experience in my field before further studies and she was ok with it, she also asked me my monthly salary in euro. So whatever you answer be prepared for the follow-up questions.

IELTS conspiring with CIC to rip off intending immigrants, very good theory, hahaha.I think the listening can be very tricky, if you miss any point there's no chance of recovery.

mercylicious: I sneaked to Futo (my sch ) from work yesterday.
Dem still neva find my file. I had to give them my student copy which I got in 2011. They checked the computer but still didn't find it. They told the typist to start typing the result and also sent sumone to their store to search with the student copy. I explained to woman how urgent it is.
When I got to d dept dt handles cert verification, it happened dt they receieved the letters from wes yesterday. They have even compiled a letter to send to WES to pay for d cert ver or tell us to pay. I was told to go to diamond bank in the school and raise a draft of 10K, submit in acnts dept and get receipt, which I will submit to them. I went to diamond, they demanded for valid I'd but I didn't come with any, then one old boy, advised me on how to go around it, but unfortunately, the person giving receipt wasn't arnd and I was told to come on monday. I later gave my friend who is also a lecturer in my dept the money to help me complete on monday (he is d one dt went and discovered my file was missing)

Plz is u know anyone frm futo processing cert assessment in WES, tell the person to go to Futo and pay. Its nt paid online. The names there are more than 20.

I am just waiting for my ielts sch, if I don't get max 24, I may have to wait for nov to have 6 years work experience b4 I apply.

Futo stress! So you r a Futo babe, which dept and year?I went through the same thing for 2 months before I was able to get my evaluation from WES. I woul say NO wait till you have the full money so that you can be sure of everything and make your transfer once.

I don't agree with you, you can do transfer in instalments , moreover some banks wouldn't allow you to transfer more than 5,000 Euro at once.

3,060AUD? That is not too much. How much is Canadian's? Again FWSP's 10,000CAD deposit evidence for settling down is not friendly to me oh.
The Canadian app fee is just 550 CAD for a single applicant.the deposit is still ur money any way it goes.

Thanks.I just hope Abuja center is in shape when it comes to headset usage (not what they acted last time, I'll still ring them before booking) if not I may go to PH. You gave me more than I expected! It looks like Canadian PR route has taken you.All the best.
The application fee for the Australian PR scared me away.
Travel / Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Bwave: 2:21pm On Jul 20, 2013
@ferdimako, the centre in ph has good headsets, but one secret to scoring high in the listening is to read the questions and have them in mind as you are listening.Try and pick the answers as the tape is playing , if you miss anything don't make any attempt to try to remember or you will miss whatever is being said at that point in time.for the writing practice writing essays and get somebody (maybe an English teacher) to look at them. For reading, that was the cheapest for me , practice ordinary level English comprehension.for speaking , just use simple grammar, avoid hesitation while speaking and ensure your tenses are always correct. Just practice and don't worry about what you will score, am sure you will make at it easily, English language is what you have been using since nursery school.
