Big aunty: how much did you pay.......how do i get uni assist,is it via googleThe website is www.uni-assist.de, and you pay 68Euro for the first application and any addition attracts an additional 15Euro, pls take time to get the accurate info from the website.Google can also help you in your search for universities in germany, bear in mind not all schools use uni-assist for their admission process, so research individuals schools and their admission procedures. |

Big aunty: hi how was your admission process did you do it all alone or through agents, what are the necessary information and as well the name of the university you got admission into, cos i want to apply as wellMy dear, it was not easy,I did it alone no need for any agent, i started the search about a year ago, i did a lot of research on the net. I applied to four schools and got admission for only one, Bauhaus University Weimar, the other three were in stuttgart( the competition in the south is really stiff). The school forwarded my application to uni-assist and they sent me an email and I made payment, after which it was processed.I think your best bet is to go through uni-assist and apply to as many as five schools.Goodluck. |

I appreciate your kind response, thanks to you all, however, I was thinking that I could get the statement before making some transactions that would affect the balance on one of the accounts by next week, but I will go with your advice. ferdimako:Indeed goodluck to us.Without the IELTS the application is incomplete, so I have no choice than to do it.Since you are doing academic it means your are seeking admission in a school abroad and not for FSWP because only General Training is accepted for the program. |

@Solomonwis,pauloman et al, Is it advisable to get the bank statement now?or do I hav to wait till am sending the completed application. FYI, I will be doing the IELTS test on june 8 & my transcript is being processed,am targeting the ending of june to complete my application, so am trying to see how I can fast track the process. Thanks! |

solomongrandy:Well, you should know that there is no guaranttee even for the first application that is recieved so anybody who chooses to apply is more or less taking a risk with his/her money ( gambling more or less), ok, don't stress yourself out because of the money, for your own health because it could go anyway. No hard feelings my dear brother, but what am waiting for till now is none of your business. |
Travel / Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Bwave: 6:12pm On May 19, 2013 |
LadyGuinivere:No. So should I forget about it, as solomongrandy is trying to insinuate? |

solomongrandy: But you're very negative. Please don't discourage people here,ok.You have sent your own application, leave others to take their chance. You are not an authority to make such comments, or do you work at the citizenship and immigration office of the canadian government. |

solomonwis:This is one of the reasons am projecting till july/august to forward my application, because we have to wait for thirteen days for the test result which we are yet to take, moreover, I am planning to apply for my transcript on friday and I can't tell how long WES will take for their own issue.Neither me nor my wife studied in Canada but she will take the English test, hope we can get say 5 points under adaptability if she can get band 5 or higher in the IELTS test result. |

sperony: The way things are now, my application may not be ready till 2nd week of june. I just pray that my job category will not reach the 300 cap by then. Please has anybody done the certificate evaluation for HND and what equivalent did it come out as ?I am even looking at july/august for my own application.Solomonwis and LadyGuinivere, what do you think? |
Travel / Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Bwave: 10:05am On May 12, 2013 |
@Solomonwis, I appreciate your kindness in sharing all you know about this program, God will surely reward you.My question is on the proof of settlement funds, I have funds in my acounts (naira (current and savings) and domicilliary ( dollar and euro) and they are all in the same bank, I hope I can combine all of them to make up for about 22,000 cannadian dollars that is required for a family of four ( according to the info on the website).Do I need to request formally for account statement from the bank, on can I print the one accessible via internet banking? In addition, can I include my stock portfolio (CSCS account) which far exceeds the requirement as proof of additional funds moreover, there maybe need to move some funds from the bank accounts within the application period. Thanks |

otokx: Will the government really sit up? Will it not be some political statements to be made and then in practical terms many steps would be taking backwards?I thought you condemned the boys already, why are you asking for the government to sit up, when you have been going on as if the boys actually robbed you and you have all the evidence of their heinous crimes. Why have you been gleefully celebrating their ordeal? My friend you are pathetic. |

Babzilla: THOSE IN SUPPORT OF OR AGAINST THIS AT LEAST WE ALL AGREE ON ONE THING; ITS JUSTICE SERVED. WHETHER NA JUNGLE JUSTICVE AT LEAST NA JUSTICE AND THE EVIL IS TAKEN CARE OFI don't agree with you.Nobody has come to say those particular boys robbed him.The villagers have no told us the names of the people that were killed by these boys, so I still wonder on what basis the justice lies. |
Crime / Re: 3 Students Burnt To Death In Uniport by Bwave: 8:54am On Oct 06, 2012 |
otokx:But one of your posts said that they were caught smoking weed in an uncompleted building, so apart from that, my friend, what other evidence did you proffer. You said the elders found them guilty, of what? Were the caught in the act? Pls i do not condone robbery but how did they people that condenmed these boys arrive at their verdict? |
Crime / Re: 3 Students Burnt To Death In Uniport by Bwave: 8:28am On Oct 06, 2012 |
Please this matter should be thoroughly investigated by the government of rivers state. How sure are these villagers that these were the same people that have been terrorising their community? They cannot just lynch students living in the community because they suspect them to be cultists. That they were seen in an uncomplted building smoking weed is not enough evidence. In as much as I detest people who rob or molest others and may even condole jungle justice, something tells me this not just right. Many of the people spewing trash here have friends and relatives who are established cultists, you guys should kill all of them before coming here to justify this barbaric act. 1 Like |
