beebee5000: Thanks for the formula, I never knew how they did it till now. But notice the little correction above, I think that is how it should be stated to correspond with the answer. |

dmitroika: topeagis and johnson 10232..., how did you guys go about this online appointment booking tingy? were you also as curious as i am during your time? my school resumes on the 1st of october and i am yet to be able to book an appointment. appointments are booked already till august 19th. share your experiences pleaseThis is a serious issue, all appomiemts are now booked till August 20. I wonder if there will be enough time even for those who may get their admission in July. BTW when are these dates being booked because I have been checking that page every hour since five days now and have not been seeing any free space.is there any other way the booking is done? |

mpi210: Go to the central office and ask to see Festus, he handles the posting, it is better you go there in person because they have many applications on their hands now and he may easily forget, am going there again next week to follow up, I discovered that just calling does not work. BTW, when did you do the online application? I did mine and paid since May 17. |

LadyGuinivere: I had to go to Owerri from PHC today and after enough quarrelling, making up and greasing some palms, they scheduled it to be sent on Monday and gave me my copy. I have somebody at the registrar's office I handed the job over but I will make out time to go the again next week to follow up on the verification. kike100: I did not buy any material from British council. There some sample questions on their website, that will give you an idea of what to expect, they are not much but I made sure I digested them, so I advice you to do same. I downloaded some free materials (utorrent files from thepiratebay), but I did not even have the chance to read any , I had only two weeks to prepare, just glanced through them. |

kelly4top:Can somebody reschedule to an earlier date if there is a chance and must the person cancel the first appointment before rescheduling? kelly4top: Does it mean that those of us born before NPC came into existence can obtain ( with an affidavit) and use the NPC certificate? |

topeajis:Thanks for your suggestion. From the online appointment booking page the dates have been booked till August 18, if I book around this time, how long would it take for the visa to be granted? Am in a dilemma here cos my programme starts October. |

I have applied for the blocked account at the German embassy since two weeks now, but yet to get any response. Is it advisable I go ahead and book the appointment for interview for around August 20? My programme starts in Oct 1, if I go for the interview in August 20, can I still meet up the resumption date (October 1) if am successful. |

Toluth: About this birth certificate thing, whar if u didn't collect the certificate when u were born, and the only one u could get your hand on is the NPCs', how do u go about it?Very good question! Godson201333:So that makes whatever you are given there authentic, I think that contradicts your ealier statement for those born before the 90s (pls don't be offended oo), am just seeking clarification Godson201333:I understand the guys plight, because a statement in the age declaration kind of nullifies his birth certificate. Am really confused about this, in the same shoes with beebee5000. |

@Topeajis and others in Germany, am counting on you guys to clarify this NPC, age declaration and birth certificate issue. Thanks |

Godson201333: beebee5000: Thanks for the prompt reply, i also thought as much cause i felt NPC documents were for children born from 1990ssss, Anyway thanks for this information i am about to save a whole lot of money. Please those who have had their visas granted should throw more light on this issue so that people can be properly guided, I came across an information on this forum that NPC still grants valid birth certificates to those born before the 90s. |

LadyGuinivere:You are not getting the point, go to that page and look at it again, if the 4 points must come from French what business does IELTS have on the second table. As a lawyer your argument should be logical and based on facts, I don't think you understand how the language scores are apportioned. 1 Like |

ifechukwukamso:Nobody is saying that English can be your first and second official language; but you can earn points for the second official language from the English language test,I think slomonwis gave a valid explanation for that. You did not explain what IELTS had to do with getting points for the second official language as stated on the link you mentioned, I just realised that critical thinking does not come easy for some people. |
Travel / Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Bwave: 6:04pm On Jun 17, 2013 |
ifechukwukamso: I think solomonwis is right! Unless you can explain why on the CIC website, IELTS score was stated as a determinant of eligibility to gain the 4 points for second official language. We all know that IELTS is for only English language. |

Big aunty:You know I asked a question in order to know what to expect if one is to work while studying (for me if it is not worth it, then I would rather concentrate on my studies) and I wonder if there's anything wrong in asking somebody what kind of work he does except for people like emeka55 who are not comfortable with saying what they do. |
Travel / Re: German Embassy And Visa by Bwave: 5:47pm On Jun 10, 2013 |
emeka55: Lmao! Sensible people know u asked a stupid question by asking what kind of job he was doing over there. He already answered ur question about working in Germany as a student and u were dumb in the end. Why didn't u ask him when last he had sex? There are lots of reasonable information passed on this thread and ur stupidity won't stop the flow. U can ask questions without getting personal and people will be glad to answer. Done!Ur idiotic comments are exposing u for who you really are.I was just advising, but u r showing that you are unteachable, a fool knows not that he knows not.I am not joining issues with a bloody buffoon on the net. |

emeka55: Some people can ask funny questions sha ooo. Someone just explained how possible it is to get a job and gave his opinion. Is it necessary to start asking what kind of job he's doing? It has been said many times that there are student jobs in Germany and they clearly stated the conditions. Are u guys hoping to work in the bank or government house before u believe there are jobs thereU sound like an infant and u comment does not depict any iota intelligence. Let me educate you, there is always a reason for any question and only a fool responds to a question meant for another person. Well in any case my question has been answered by people who can. |

@jejet&topeajis, pls i need you candid advice on this.I would really love my family (wife and two kids) to be with me during my studies in Germany. What do I do now, should I process their own visa at the same time? Or should I process mine first and theirs later? |

ohimai83:I sent my application in April and I got the email on May 28.You don't have to worry if the deadline for any of the applications has not elapsed. You can also call each school on phone to know the status of you application ( have your application number with you, when contacting them). I called the school in my own case, and that was when I was told that my application had been forwarded to uni-assist, because I also sent the application directly to the school. I had to send an email to uni-assist, they acknowledged the receipt of my application from the school and instructed me on how to make payment. Good luck. |
