[quote author=KingOfAmebo post=73894569]The OP is super confused with this:

Where is it in the bible that giving tithe to widows, orphans or the needy is wrong?

Tell us what the tithe givien to church is used for? Do you preach to a hungry man the word of God without feeding him/her?...Jesus fed 5000 with bread and fishes ...Do you think God needs your money for his works to be accomplished? are you trying to help the maker and owner of the universe finance his projects?... How weird is that?

You lack understanding on the things of God...stop misleading people or incure the wrath of God.

Judgement is already starting from the church...your likes will not

We must teach the people religion that is based on knowledge, not the one based on ignorance which is the most pervasive type of religion nowadays, spread into the world by satan and his little minions.

Religion with knowledge is what will help us. If we abandon religion even in the basterdized state that it exists in today, the very barriers that hold us from developing into a full fledged Hobbesian state would be breached, the anarchy and chaos would be unprecedented. Our devotion to religion shows that we essentially, deeply in our hearts, are godly people, we have only been confused because we did not have access to the truth. It holds true, therefore, that if we have access to the real truth and it's benefits, our fervour for it would even be greater! We go carry am for head!

Satan and his minions are losers forever.

Politics / Re: We’ll Miss 2019 Target For Refineries’ Revamp – Kachikwu by caahies: 1:30pm On Nov 27, 2018
nwakibie3:
’Femi Asu

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, has said the plan to get the nation’s ailing refineries to work at almost full capacity will not materialise by 2019.

Kachikwu stated this on Monday in Lagos at the 18th edition of the International HSE Biennial Conference on the Oil and Gas Industry in Nigeria organised by the Department of Petroleum Resources, in conjunction with other stakeholders.

Last year, the minister vowed to resign if the country failed to attain self-sufficiency in the refining of petroleum products by 2019.

When asked to state the year that Nigeria would be self-sufficient in refining petroleum products, Kachikwu, who was a guest on BBC Hard Talk in London on May 22, 2017, replied, “I have said 2019, and that is the target that I gave.”

Earlier on May 4, 2017, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation expressed commitment to actualise the December 2019 target set by the Federal Government to end the importation of petroleum products into the country.

The Group Managing Director, NNPC, Dr Maikanti Baru, was quoted in a statement as saying at the Nigeria Oil Industry Award Dinner during the Offshore Technology Conference 2018 in Houston, United States, that measures had been taken to achieve the target.

He explained that in terms of refining and production of local petroleum products, the ongoing arrangement with the original builders of the refineries to return them to at least 90 per cent capacity utilisation before the 2019 deadline was still intact.

Kachikwu said on Monday in a keynote address that 10 out of the over 40 licensed modular refineries had got into serious work, with three likely to come on stream towards the end of next year.

He said work was ongoing on the four refineries owned by the NNPC, adding, “Hopefully in the next board meeting next week, we will be able to come to final landing on the commercial terms for those investments. If we do, that brings in the processing of 445,000 barrels of crude.

“Even though I had wanted in my usual bullish nature to get this thing driven so that we can have all the refineries working by end of 2019, obviously it will slip a bit. But what is important that we must begin the process. We are going to deliver those barrels refined by 2020, so be it.”

On the refinery being built by Aliko Dangote in Lagos, with a capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, the minister said, “We are working very hard with him on it.”

The PUNCH reported on November 8, 2019 that the proposed rehabilitation of the nation’s refineries had suffered delays as the third-party financiers for the project had yet to be announced, more than a year after the NNPC said 28 firms had expressed interest in its financing.

Nigeria has four refineries, two in Port Harcourt and one each in Kaduna and Warri, with an installed capacity of 445,000 bpd, but they have continued to operate far below the installed capacity for many years.

Politics / Re: Igbos Didn’t Endorse Atiku, We Are Still Behind Buhari – Uche Nwosu by caahies: 7:41pm On Nov 16, 2018
18Ebiscoo:

Former Chief of Staff to the Imo State governor, Uche Nwosu, has dismissed the reported endorsement of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, Peter Obi, by Igbo leaders at an Enugu summit recently.

He described the endorsement as “a designed plan to deceive the people that the Igbos rest their support with the PDP”.

Nwosu, who maintained that the support for President Buhari by the Igbos was still intact, noted that the endorsement by the few Igbo leaders at the Enugu Summit did not reflect the position of Ndigbo and will not affect the chances of President Muhammadu Buhari in the South East.

According to him, the South East has nothing tangible to show for its support for the PDP during its 16 years in power to warrant the endorsement of its Presidential candidate or any other.

Nwosu, in statement on Friday, reassured that despite the post primary crisis rocking the party (APC) in the zone, President Buhari would still get a landslide victory.

According to Nwosu, “We are not losing sleep over the recent endorsement of Atiku by some Igbo leaders, the action will not change the reality on ground.

“The South East will deliver Buhari in 2019 because it is our best option. We cannot be distracted with the PDP’s Greek gift of Vice President, our focus as a people should be Igbo Presidency in 2023.

“One important question we should be asking ourselves as Ndigbo is what did we benefit from the PDP for the 16 years it was in power to warrant the endorsement of its candidate, as against what we have recorded within the three years that President Buhari is in power”.

He continued that, “Most of the political decisions of some of our leaders are self serving and not in the overall interest of the Igbo but this time we are committed to pursuing the best political option for the Igbo, which is supporting President Buhari’s second term”.

Nwosu also added that, “The fact that majority of our party members are not happy with the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomole over the manner he handled the party primaries across the zone does not affect our support for President Buhari.

“In fact it is beyond personal considerations, it is about the interest of Ndigbo and we will deliver President Buhari in 2019. The support for President Buhari is borne out his unequalled integrity and uprightness, which is what the country needs most now,” he concluded.

Where is he hiding it? Under his babariga or where? Atiku is merely playing cheap politics here.

It is only the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) that has such data in its possession in which it is made public periodically. Which data is he referring to again?

The same Atiku that claims to employ 100,000 ghost workers. Even Dangote doesn't have that number of employees. I wonder where Atiku's employees are working.

Anyway election period is here already, expect politicians to start dishing out falsehood and propaganda just to hoodwink and deceive the gullible and the mentally lazy ones. And we seem to have a lot of those in this country especially among the youths

Gaddafi praticaly threw his artillery wide open for his supporters in his desperate bid to crush his enemies, and there has not been any demobilisation or disarmament program to mop up those weapons after his death. Boko Haram, al Sabab and other armed group have been profiting from that, and with Nigeria's 1000 illegal entry points, how can anyone stop the inflow of such arms? It's ironic that the people who should be seen as ignorant and uninformed are being celebrated just because they are foolishly attacking the president.

The fact remains that Nigeria's Security is at an all time low. These facts or misled figures and quotes does not convience anyone as to why a commander in chief cannot come up with a simple Strategic plan as to how to tackle this Issue with all his years in the Military and Training
