Pedestrian bridges are only meant for motor ways where people rarely cross and vehicles speed run at national speed limit.


In an area like in the pictures above, well built up area where cars move relatively slowly, with shops all around and people crossing too frequently, a pelican crossing would be in order.

A pelican crossing is that one where a traffic light, or warden instructs cars to stop and allow people cross the road in batches.

We need to start thinking about the plight of put disabled and aged citizens who cannot climb such bridges for their daily frequent crossings.
