Travel / Re: Nigerian Man Impersonating Canadian Agent Sentenced To Two Years In Prison by Cadygosh: 12:55am On Jan 30, 2023
Na wa oo. I don't know how people will feel comfortable submitting fake documents. It is well
SReporters:
A Nigerian man, Chinenye Alozie, was sentenced to two years house arrest by a Provincial Court in Winnipeg, Canada, for forging bank records and other documents to assist would-be immigrants in entering the country safely.

The 35-year-old restaurateur and father of four pleaded guilty to violating the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act by acting as an unauthorized immigration consultant and misrepresenting or withholding facts in immigration applications.

According to Canada Today, the court heard the crimes related to Alozie's dealings with more than 60 foreigners, the majority of whom were students, between 2014 and 2019.

In late 2018, the Canadian Border Services Agency became aware of him after reports that he had advertised his services to international students online.

At a hearing on Tuesday, Matthew Sinclair informed Judge Stacy Cawley that Alozie is not a licensed immigration consultant or attorney.

"He is not authorized to represent people in their applications," he stated.

A review of Alozie's bank records revealed deposits of $90,000 in 2016 and $120,000 in 2017 from people suspected to be foreigners, according to Sinclair. Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada discovered 52 deposits from people applying to Canada as temporary students, workers, or visitors.

According to records provided to the Border Protection Agency, Alozie used his personal credit cards to pay the government fees of 61 immigration applicants between 2014 and 2018.

A search of Alozie's home in June 2019 uncovered evidence that he assisted 20 clients in creating false bank statements for their immigration applications and "helped invent fictional storylines or personal stories to increase the likelihood that their application is approved," according to Sinclair.

Sinclair stated that five of Alozie's clients were allowed into Canada despite their fraudulent immigration applications.

Alozie was also ordered to pay a fine of $29,000.

PPR Alert!

2nd time applicant.

1st application was denied based on financial assets. I was very disappointed as I thought my profile and financial history was good enough to get PPR.

My guru @Makano advised we order for GCMS and quickly re-fire. So we ordered for the notes, it came back and we gathered that the VO had issues with lump sum on my account statements.

So we quickly adjusted my SOP and provided explanations plus verifiable receipts for the lump sum, and reapplied again.

As God may have it, application was approved.

My Timeline;
Sep 18th - Application submitted (Biometrics was done on the 22nd of April, 2022 so it updated)
Nov 15th- Eligibility Review

Man is really good in this game. You need to be on his WhatsApp contact, approval just flies around daily on his whatsapp status.
Even though he makes money from this (affordable fees compared to other TOP GURUs), Man is really good. His recent approval status was a 45-year-old woman who got approved after the 2nd or 3rd attempt.
As for me, Makano is handling my re-application(I have fully paid for his service) cos I have been refused 4 times in the past, and I need to get it right this time. I don follow who know road and I am coming here to share my testimony too.

Once again, its PPRRRRR - Loooooonnnnggggg post alert!!

First off, I’d like to thank God and many members of this platform for helping and keeping things running on here.

My profile in summary: 25y/o single male, parent sponsored, Computer Engineering BSc, graduated with second class upper, going for MSc, Computational Sciences. Graduated in 2020, worked as a Software Engineer ever since then.

Timeline and Events
New Portal
First-time applicant
Applied by myself. Learnt all from Google, Youtube, and Nairaland

July 4: Upfront medicals
July 8: Application on New Portal
July 8: Biometrics Request
July 13: Gave biometrics and received on portal
** Somewhere in between I’d uploaded my medical sheet from IOM via webform. Can’t remember when.
August 4 (2AM): Sent mail to Lagos, Nairobi, London and attached my medical sheet.
August 4 (Around 1pm): Biometrics and Medicals updated to pass.
** Long wait, ordered notes, CBSA and GCMS, nothing tangible.
October 11: Sent mail to MP
October 13: MP got back literally saying the same thing on portal.
** Around this period, started firing several versions of mails and webforms.
Nov 16: MP reached out to them again – Preassessment done, eligibility not started.
Nov 17 (Around midnight): Sent mails to Beijing, London, Lagos, Abuja, Nairobi.
Nov 17 (Around 12pm): Eligibility review started on portal
Nov 17 (Around 9pm): BVL and PPR

Little story, for POF which is usually a concern, I had like 5.5M in my account, $2k USD in dorm account. 5M was gift deed from my Dad, he had 25M in fixed deposit since July 2021. As at the time I applied, the money was fixed. There were several opinions about this, but I kept it that way even though I was scared sh*tless. The closing balance of that account was 77k in fact.

Around November 9 ish, I sent updated statement showing liquidated funds and my Dad transferred the balance of like 8M to me since I’d enrolled in courses. My savings in Naira and USD had grown, I also got salary raise at work so I packaged all these and sent severally via webforms – both old and new. Oh yeah, I’ve ordered like 3 notes and I still have 4 pending lol.

I’m adding all of these because I’m not sure what did the trick. It’s pretty much a combination of all.

This is obviously another grand lies and propaganda well crafted again to continue the nadir of pain, anguish, hopelessness and continued destruction of our national life.

The only greatness" Tinubu knows or envisages is that of a more bullion vans, drug running and a national widening of his agbero/miscreant empire. A man that is benefitting from the corrupt entity called a country.

This is so lovely to read, congrats dear and may canada favour you. I can't wait to also testify.....
Yahwehsdota:
I'm back with more details following our PPR.

I actually wrote this testimony on the day we submitted our application trusting God in advance that He will grant my family of 5 visa's and He did. I'm testifying on behalf of my husband since I'm the one that basically got all the information here on his behalf. Ours was an imperfect application with sponsor, gift deed and other inadequacies but God came through for us. God was with us from the very beginning and even the choice of school for my husband came from Him. I heard clearly in my spirit "don't be afraid, I'll help you (Isaiah 41:10)this visa is a done deal" and I held unto God's word in the midst of challenges. We submitted our application in July for resumption in September and I told God to please make it happen fast cos He promised early help in His word (Ps 46) and He came through for us.

I want to specially thank my Father in heaven, my Savior, Redeemer, King, Deliverer, Helper for bringing this to come to pass indeed we are the one's that God showed mercy and we have returned with our headstones of grace and dances of celebration!!

I also want to thank all nairalanders for their contributions and tips, not forgetting the gurus and all those who were always ready to answer questions regardless of how silly they were. You guys are the real MVPS. All tips for this application were gotten from nairaland. I prayed a lot, joined nsppd prayers, fasted 3ce a week and declared the word of God personalizing it over our application using the following scriptures: Gen 39:21, 2cor 1:20, prov 21:1, Ps 102:13, John 14:14, Ps 34:4-5 but it wasn't about my prayer, God showed me mercy and His grace qualified us.

We are first time applicants and these are the documents we submitted for my husband's application (student PhD) , SOWP for me and Study Permit/visit visa for 3 kids

For my husband's SOP, he wrote on the importance of the course to his career, its benefit to his place of work, personal business, community and Nigeria as a whole, he wrote on his experiences and educational background and linked all to the proposed program. He broke down POF in a tabular form for clarity purpose.
Also, he gave them strong reasons why he needs to go with his kids and wife. He also dealt extensively on Home Ties which are parents, siblings, commitment in church, charitable organizations, professional associations, landed properties, personal business and included available pictures to prove.

God bless you all and for all those waiting keep trusting God and believing, you are next in Jesus mighty name .

How will you be crying as a man because of a cheating woman, man up bro and put your energy into something positive? I would have advised you to file for Divorce but I am considering your Kids here. The Man she is actually cheating with will definitely dump her soon. She will regret her actions and want to come back, just that she will be coming back with multiples infections because I am sure they won't be using protection.

Like seriously? so cause of 2 full stops, that means this my account is also fake, make una fear God na.. so if we are to go by ur analysis, it means all the several monikers using the word Peace too are also fake accounts na, cos we know Makano is the only one here that ends all his posts with Peace.. Bro, you can't even work with FBI, because of fullstops now u are dragging Makano into this again.. Wahala. And point of correction, if you are obsevant enough with my posts, you will see that I do not only talk about Makano here but other gurus like Frank and Justmellow..

Tgbengus151:
Is it a coincidence that the both profiles end each sentence with 2 full-stops? You people should be smart enough when you are talking to yourself with your burner account.

The Candycrash account was created less than 2 months ago and the only thing he has been doing here is defending the "gurus" (Makano in particular mostly). No solid contribution to thread other than turning himself to a defender of the universe of nairaland "gurus".

Mikano, i hope you are not the one behind the account because it will be very shameful and only prove the Express/Eagleeye person right. That person was supposed to be the clown here but if his assertion about you was right, then we all know who the clown is.

The need to be tagged as a "guru" among the other "gurus" here is so obvious. Some weird inferiority complex stuff.

Hello Cadygosh

I can see you are a great fan of the great works myself and my fellow knowlesgable people are doing here..

I intentionally had to take a break cos of the falseful information without evidences and negative atmosphere here during those times, I am not the kinda person that argues on a normal day, not to talk of arguing with faceless fellows here that I dnt even know how they look like real life..

I value my time so much cos as we all know Time is short, so instead of me arguing and trying to proof point here, I just replied the Jobless fellow once and that was it.. No time to be reacting to every stone thrown at me..

I just came online now to see close to a 100 Mentions, and I said to myself, While these Jobless peeps were talking ill of Makano here, Makano has been busy achieving a lot with his time, and I shook my head and said what a waste of time for these peeps..

Time is precious, a lot can happen withing minutes, so why waste your time on unnecessary talks and arguments.. Thas is the reason why you will never see me argue with anybody here, never.. I don't know how to waste my time..

Once again thank you Cadygosh for having my(our) back here, I wish you the best in all your endeavors..

I am back but may not be really active here... I will keep doing what I know how to do best (answering difficult questions here as regards study and spousal permit applications for free here)

So on point.. Heffalump, you have spoken well.

The person that even started all this rubbish of Fake PPR or no PPR is nowhere to be found again, he just came here to cause wild distraction and chaos and those that don't know anything are following him blindly..
Fine, these knowledgeable people (gurus) on this thread may be charging applicants that come to them for their Visa application, but if you carefully read their posts you will know that these people are selfless and very knowledgeable when it comes to this Canada study application, and they have never for once advertised themselves through their posts, it is their wealth of experience that attracts applicants to their DM..

Once again Frankrobbn1, Makano, Justmellow and Lekiboboe, na Men una be abeg, Our able GURUS
Heffalump:

@Justmellow, an African proverb says "if you stop and cast stone on every barking dog you'll probably not get to your destination".

Without much to say, you and so many others chaps on this forum, like Frankrobbn1, Makano, Lekiboboye, etc have touched so many lives positively that the testimonies are endless. Please ignore those detractors who don't know how it all started.

I, for one remain eternally grateful for your supports provided both in private and on this open forum. You're All Real Men!!

Frankrobbn1:

It is quite unfortunate that I am seeing the misleading and incorrect information about me on this platform. However, it gives me courage that "As you build something worthwhile, be ready for the critics. Therefore, never let criticism stop you from doing what you know how to do, for it is the only way to grow in your competence and gain more popularity in the industry".

I'll be here from time to time to respond to enquires and assist others in realizing their immigration objectives to Canada. Although, if you take the time to read through my previous contributions on this platform, you should have a better insight on how the entire processes works. I believe to the best of my knowledge that I have been able to answer every questions that relates to immigrating to Canada.

I wish everyone the best in their respective applications.

I won't respond to any of ur messages anymore tho, one thing I know is anyone who wants information and can take time to read through the thread from 2020 till 2022 will find virtually answers to every of their questions so no one is chasing any guru away, stop advertising for them, who knows e fit be say na makano second account be ds sef.

I am telling you, justwise had made a post about it already and he had clarified that no one should indirectly advertise for any of the so called gurus again, even at the sight of affixing that makano guy sounds somehow to me. If the so called gurus are really interested in the platform they will definitely respond to messages, I'm sure they weren't blocked so why always indirectly advertise for them? That's what I don't get, what about the efforts of the one who contributes genuinely without being called guru, so if frank or makano doesn't respond that means whatever anyone else says is nonsense, this platform Is to help people with information to do it themselves not a platform of always indirectly advertising people, if these so called gurus see a wrong post by someone and they correct or reply to post without advertising themselves that's help. Not all these you people are doing .
I don't even understand, If u read the thread from the beginning even before u reach this current thread you will already have the information that u need without the help of anyone, so why are you making it feel like without the presence of these guys the thread is nothing, I don't even have issues with Frank cos if you check well he has been a wonderful person even tho he is an agent he is respectful and has wealth of information truly, but u see that makano wanna be agent, make una no dey mention his name here again as guru biko

The bolded is very necessary bro, very necessary.. We all shall smile at the end.. Amen
kennyjoy:

You are completely correct!!! I saw one responding to a moniker question a few weeks ago. I just shake my head and can't respond because Canada study&work has already given most of us a new direction, and everyone is busy right now. This thread is a good source of information, I learned a lot from it during my visa application. Please, Frank, Makano, Justmellow, and Anon123, we need you guys back here coz this immigration game will need up- to-date information.

I wish everyone who is waiting for PPR goodnews soonest, as well as those who have been delayed, please don't give up, repackaged, and refired. This trip to Canada was well worth it.

Best wishes!!!

You welcome Justmellow and good to have you back.

The bittered souls that have been claiming Fake PPR from you gurus have not for once brought out concrete evidence to prove their points, but they chose to tarnish the images of selfless people like you, frank and Makano on this thread out of Envy and hate. I can even see one of the bittered people acting like a guru here whereas he doesn't know shit.
It's good to see you are back and I hope Frank and Makano come back too so this thread can be enriched with professional advice and guidance, cos truth be told, We do not get accurate answers to the questions on this thread again..
JustMellow:

Hello Cadygosh,

It's selfless of you to stand up on behalf of these guys. This type of issue is bound to always happen in an open forum. If area fit kill Jesus Christ who be revered father again.

Despite blogging on immigration matters on several travel fora, particularly on Quora where my posts do about 3.2k views and about 27.5k views, I am very thankful for Nairaland and for the opportunity to share my knowledge on its platform. It played a part to increase my growth. As well, I have never been shy to let people know my expertise in these fora where I am a permanent member.

If I spend time here helping people, I should also be able to tell people what I can do to assist them without violating the NL rules. I think NL should have a verifiable ribbon tag for its members. As simple or easy as it may seem, not everybody can package an application, write SOP/LOE, or request the GCMS Notes by themselves and that's why my Nairaland bio advertises this boldly and unapologetically.

To grow, I realized the essence of price-tagging my expertise. For testimonies, it is effortless. If people that have achieved success through my assistance are faithful enough to come back here to share their testimonies, the thread will always be flooded. A learned mind knows how easy it is to spot a fake testimony.

If I was being deceitful or misleading people here all these years, don't you trust what justwise would have done by now?! It is very important not to allow cyberbullying on this thread that is becoming rampant. This is not the news section or other sections of NL. The travel section is delicate and should be held in such esteem. The growth of this prestigious thread shouldn't be ruined because of trying to be a SAVAGE member.

Again, thank you for standing up!

Many questions are unanswered here just because some bittered people here have pursued the GURUS of this Canada Student thread with their false accusations of fake PPRs. You all put in here that these knowledgeable people here like Frankrobbn1, Makano and Justmellow put in fake PPRs without any evidence or proof to support your false claims. In the past weeks or so, I have carefully read most of their posts and I can't see where any of them advertised themselves as agents only when you get to their BIO. I didn't even see where any of them post any PPR timeline. Even the bitered person that said some of them used fake accounts to post PPRs, the real owners of those accounts have come out to say they are not fake. But because of your envy, una don pursue them commot. I just checked their Profiles now, they are no more active here again. You all say they post fake PPRS and no concrete evidence to prove your point till this minute.
And all the wanna bes gurus here (the bittered people) are finding it difficult to answer all questions here or even give accurate answers.. The people wey sabi this thing una don pursue them commot with yuna false accusations. You can see I do not post any question here, I simply read the posts of the Original GURUS of this thread. Gurus like Frankrobbn1, Makano, Justmellow, Bullstriker and Technix..
So make una continue dey drive away the helpers of this thread with una false accusations, una kuku don drive them commot finish, una weldone.. And to the newbies that want answeres to their unanswered questions, read the post of the SABINUS people of this thread (the bolded names).. Me I no be guru and I no wan be guru, I am after my own Visa, reason why I am here.. I sign out now.

A Nigerian man who recently got married became overtly emotional when he caught his wife cheating with his friend.

He almost broke down crying in a video making the rounds online after nabbing his wife and friend in a hotel.

The distraught man said he has been suspecting that the two of them after noticing some sneaky behaviour.

was gathered that the couple tied the knot few weeks ago, so the discovery left him totally devastated.

According to the husband, he had earlier warned his friend named Dennis to stay away from his wife after seeing that they were getting close.

He, however didn’t know the situation continued up until the moment he caught them red-handed in a hotel room.

In the video, he could be seen chiding his friend while making him to open his room. He found his wife hiding in the bathroom and he asked his her why she decided to be unfaithful.

You welcome guru Makano smiley
And to the bolded, if God uses you to get my visa at the 5th attempt just as he has used you for many applicants, then we will definitely know ourselves..
makano:
Thanks Cadygosh for this..

I actually saw his post before seeing yours, but I chose to ignore it, as I do not have the luxury of time to exchange words with anybody especially when the person is trying hard to get attention.

I spend little time here, and it would be a waste of time using the limited time I have here to argue with someone that just joined this thread less than a month..

Thanks once again Cadygosh for having my back in my absence even though I do not know you.. Thanks once again, I appreciate.

Peace

Kick Makano out?

Abeg oo, he is one of the rear gems on this platform.. Since when I joined this forum some days back, I have been reading his posts, Justmellow and that of Frankrobbn1 and I can say I have gained a lot from reading just their posts...
And also many applicants here have gotten their Visas working with Makano and none has said anything like he scammed them(Cos ur assigment is to catch scammers).. Even in his profile, he said he doesn't want to be addressed as an agent. So please oo, leave our guru oo..
And the post u had an issue with, he has already responded to bullstriker in a peaceful way as seen below.

https://www.nairaland.com/7255452/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/159#116209768

So please oo, Makano, Frankrobbn1 and Justmellow are rear Gems on this forum and I am sure I am not the only one here gaining from their wealth of experience..
Like Makano always ends his post, Peace.
