Come ooh, how is lagos over hype? Do u even know lagos in it's entirety? I know u don't because If u do, u won't in ur life ever say this
No! I don't know Lagos, I wouldn't live in Lagos, even though i own a property in Lagos..

Anyway, as far as i know Lagos. From. Ladipo, Ilupeju, Matori, Oshodi, Mushin, Olosha, Isolo, Aswani, Ikeja, Agege, Alaba, Ifako, Pen Cinema, Ogba, Abule Egba, Olodi, Festac, Lasu to Ijora, Idumota, Iddo, Surulere, National theater and other parts of Lagos i cannot remember their names at this moment. Apart from the over overhyped filty Lekki and the sewage covered so called Lagos Island. Where da fork else is Lagos? some areas are even under Ogun state even though some people want to include them in Lagos, places like Abule egba, Akute and all other surrounding areas.

My house is along palm Avenue Mushin, next to (former Chicken George restuarant) my uncle owns 2 properties in Buhari street off Palm Avenue. He own a house along agege motor road Mushin, He also owns a house at Ifako Ijaiye. Even Ifako Ijaiye is not in Lagos state but some people want to believe it is in Lagos. He also owns a property along Abule Egba express way.

I may not have being born in Naigeria but I am familiar with Lagos more than most people who claim to know Lagos or are Lagosians... I may be wrong though,

Some part of so called Lagos are already sinking underwater, place like the very dirty Ilogbo, i bought 2 plots of lands that has turned into a dirty swamp at Ilogbo. The lands has almost disappeared into a swamp. I had wanted to build a clinic to help the poor people in that area one of my cousin owns a house there right now, he suggested the lands for the clinic to me.

I don't know how old you are but Have you ever heard of Billant paint and Cement Industries LTD? That was my late uncle.he died few years ago.

Do these people even have a plan at all? They shifted the traders in Iyana-Ipaja from displaying their goods on the road to displaying them on the pedestrian walkway... Now, you have to squeeze yourself while walking on the walkway to avoid hitting or stepping on the goods being displayed there... Is that the plan, leave the road and go to the walkways?

Where will pedestrians now take, since we can't walk on the road due to the bad road (from roundabout inward the express) and at the same time we can't walk freely on the walkway to avoid those women laying generational curses on you

The issue is, those officials that still give sell daily tickets to these traders are the ones emboldening them... As long as they buy daily ticket for those spaces, they'll keep staying there... Arrest those that sell the tickets to them and see it stop
grin grin grin cheesy Over population, over congested, over polluted, overhyped Lagos.

I'm just laughing at how some untrained apes will react to this act of respect. To those apes, respect for elders is alien except if there is monetary benefit in return. grin

I heard there are some backward villages where respect for elders is a sacrilege except if those elders are rich. If those elders are poor, I understand they are woken with either side kicks or resounding slaps.

I'm still investigating, I want to know if those backward barbaric villages still living in prehistoric era are in Nigeria.
There are no such thing as elders, that shit doesn't exist, All these rubbish can only be allowed and accepted in achaic societies like yours, every human is equal. This is the problem with Africans, these so called elders are the ignorant illiterates who are running africa and nigeria down with their achaic mindset. The break up of Liegeria is long gone and overdue.

From the comments on this stale forum one can see that Naigerians themselves hates each others tribes, i don't know why people who despise themselves soo much would want to live amongst themselves in one country.. it is cowardice.

...ok it's true...they are lazy .. ok and I also heard the cost of living in London, UK is high ..and citizens pay taxes a lot, prices of foodstuffs and services are expensive and inflation in London, UK....is that true?
Yea, it is true, but it is still better than living in Africa or Naigeria.

You see, Naigeria should be better than the UK, Dubai,Switzerland, Germany or even America, it is just that Naigeria is built upon Corruption, the people are corrupt, the politicians are corrupt, there is corruptions in every office, organisation and sector, Naigerians believes they cannot survive without being corrupt, when there is corruption in a country the citizens loses out, shortchanged and robbbed of basic amenities, human rights and justice.

When corruption overrules in every aspect then the foreign western governments and China takes the advantage to coming to Naigeria, steal resources, interfer in Naigerian governance, i have met many Naigerian politicians on the train in London standing up inside the train sqeezing in with other perssengers unrecognised, following traffic rules and regulations when driving here in London, I remembered when i was working as a refuse collector i came to a property in London Chingford a big 5 bedroom villa it was a nigerian politicians who lives in it. I refused to collect their bins because they didn't comply with the local council (i was working for the council for £16 an hour as a lorry driver) rules on recycling, so a young man and woman came out and begged me to collect their bins, promised that they will comply with the rules next time, and next time they did comply with the rules but if it was in Naigeria i bet they woulda harrassed me with their police or threatned me with their influence.

Police in Naigeria can harrass, intimidate, brutalise and murder a citizen in Naigeria and get away with but it can never happen here like that.

We have human rights and rule of laws over here unlike in Naigeria, some of you guys who come over here come just because of human rights, rule of laws, life and property securities and peaceful and humble decent living they are not all coming for economic reasons, many Naigerians owns, lives in expensive houses, drives expensive motors has very well paid jobs but they have never travelled back to Naigeria.

Naigeria will never ever never ever be better if corruptions continues to rule over everything. It doesn't matter who or which tribe the president is or from. The problem with Naigeria is not even the corrupt leaders it is the corrupt citizens that are the problems because they are helping the corrupt leaders to carry out their corrupt plans and deeds

I say, i hope he gets what he deserves. Just like the people he looted their futures.

...so in London, UK people steal a lot...I thought in London with the good economy and good governance over there and lots of job opportunities available for people to do over there I thought the crime rate in London will be low.....so people stealing in supermarket in London...I am surprised.. don't they have jobs to do.....is London that bad ..I thought the crime rate in London will be very low since the economy in London is good and people have jobs over there to do?
Good question! Yes, There are lots and lots of Jobs and opportunities but like in every country there are criminals, thieves and lawbreakers. Even in America cars are stolen every 30 minutes and shops are lifted every 10 minutes, some of the stolen cars ends up in Mexico Nigeria or Ghana or the cars are stripped for parts. These thieves do not want to work or take these opportunities they are lazy, they want easy and quick money just like in Nigeria politicians steal billions even though they have billions already stolen last year, the year before, Nigerian politicans are they not getting paid? Do they not have jobs? But yet they are still looting billions. It's just greed and laziness not because there are no jobs.even in nigeria there opportunities but some nigerians are lazy they wants easy and quick money so they kill for money, they rob, they scam they are corrupt and commits all sorts of crimes to become rich quick and easy.

The stealing from shops are done by mainly drug addicts and alcoholics who may not be able to work because of their addictions but even so the government gives them free money every week for food and house their house are rent free. But because they spend their money on drugs and alcohol so they go and steal food and more alcohol. Even when police arrests them the police still let them go without charges.

So crime are everywhere regardless if there are jobs or not because some people just don't wanna work!!

You would need a transit visa to land at Dublin aiport enroute to any other country, immigration will still have to check you in before you enter the arrival hall, they will demand for landing visa for their airport it doesn't matter if you leave the airport or not. Even if your there for 30 minutes.

For that few hours You still need a transit visa to land at Dublin airport, because Dublin Immigrations still need to check you in. Are you just gonna present them with a passport with no visa to land at their airport?
