All these emotional blackmailing of judges will not work. We've seen judgments in Nigeria that we may not like but you must understand that the judges must follow the law. The problems of losers is that when it doesn't favour them it is bribery but when it does judiciary is good. Many of Peter Obi's petition had been laid to rest in many judgments before it, all thee respondents have to do is make references to those judgments. I am sincerely disappointed in many Pastors and Lawyers who are clearly partizan and refused to listen to alternative arguments. They are setting up themselves for more heartbreaks. Just like in Osun, we knew common sense will prevail but the same common sense and law will also prevail in the presidential petition and I don't see how Peter Obi will win this. Unless the laws of the land are changed. |
He did say yoruba's are political rascals. Although he may not have meant it and could have been a gaffe but if Tinubu had said that I know the country would have burnt by now. Clearly the Igbos were led into believing that Christian yorubas wouldn't vote BAT because he doesn't have a Christian VP. Yorubas are too sophisticated for religion to divide us. |
Comments on this section finally made me realize how many idiots we really have in Nigeria. Their percentage especially amongst internet users must be alarming. Someone went about spreading fake news without evidence and the personality he lied against petitioned him and was arrested but what I'm seeing here in blame Soludo and calling a liar a hero. This is so shameful. How can people be so stupid not to understand simple facts?? |
Bunch of jokers and painful losers...even PDP that came second is acting sane. |
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
ebufa:In all fairness, how many polling units did you see anyone's skull broken in Lagos?? Lagos has close to 15,000 polling units. How many did you hear incidents? The truth is Igbos have always made bad political choices out of sentiments. When Zik could have become a PM, he jettisoned it to become an ordinary ceremonial president because he hated Awolowo, forgetting Lagos gave him his first seat in parliament. When we voted GEJ and Igbos dominated that govt, what did their people gain? Olisah Metuh alone had to return 400m. Yorubas even gave Atiku a whole state. We were strategic, y'all got carried away thinking SE and SS alone would vote abi? Ekiti is the largest christian state in SW with almost 90% been Christians, they still voted BAT against the propaganda that he chose a Muslim ticket. We dwell on facts and not lies. No doubt the Yoruba played the tribal card. Same thing Igbos played to support GRV. APC only had a better strategy. Forget every other nonsense. |
Mustaphaarome:Apart from Lagos he won't get 20% anywhere in the SW either. Take it or leave it. Igbos voted him based on tribe and wouldn't have any other tribes vote their own? They can deceive you with the Ojukwu contested story but Sowore also contested in 2019 and Yoruba didn't vote him. The only reason I supported Peter Obi was because based on equity I think a Ibo man should have it also to show they are incorporated but instead of forming and pushing for alliances they were pushing religious sentiments. They felt the SW wouldn't vote BAT because of his running mate. Ekiti is almost 90% christians in SW and Tinubu won in a landslide. Yoruba won't voted based on sentiments but trust. The more they can understand that the better otherwise they'll just be bitter. |
Folks looking to trend online. I can really see how delussional and foolish social media has made some people. Even those who were not in the country during elections believed rigging happened?? |
You mean the same Igbos who attacked Oore without provocation until the Yoruba army dealt with them?. The same Igbo whom only the Yorubas returned their properties back after the needless civil war, why are Igbos so fixated on Lagos?. Say what you will we voted LP in numbers which y'all couldn't do with another party in the presidential elections and if you mention one nonsense Ojukwu be reminder that we also didn't vote Sowore a Yoruba man 4 years ago. In 2011 we voted GEJ. But when a visitor aspires to take over your house and spit it to your face, you'll fight back. APC had a strategy to campaign based on sentiments and it worked. Why are you guys angry ?? |
Fut9ure:Mention a region in this country that's not guilty of tribalism? |
BOLATINUBU01:How does that warrant shouting shut up? Mind you Iwo was established by a prince of Ife, the current Ooni from Geisi ruling house are cousins with the Iwo royal families. Iwo had no links to slave camper unlike Ibadan. Iwo was established by Luwo Gbagida, the only female Ooni till date and her son Giesi established the Giesi ruling house of Ile Ife. |
How exactly does Osun campaign funds concerns a Northern vice chairman if nor for deceit and trying to cause commotions. |
Wiseandtrue:Iwo also used to have an empire but rather very tiny one unlike the old Oyo empire which transcend beyond Nigeria. He's just probably want to be known |
Kobojunkie:Well, I guess I'm guilty of this. Thanks for that. I'll seriously apply it better going forward. |
Kobojunkie:I think this alone won't work. We might also need to understand that all men don't enjoy same fantasies but I'm yet to see a man who is okay with been cheated on. I'll never advice cheating because it gives the man the perfect excuse but giving him ideas that cheating is inevitable is going to seriously force him to do more. And you see respect, there's nothing a man craves more. |
As a married man I think the best way our women can really get to us to is pretend like they are cheating but not actually cheat. If a man ever gets to find out his wife will cheat because of his own unfaithfulness, it will bruise his ego and would force him to retrace his steps. But don't cheat because if you do it gives him that excuse he needs but pretend it threaten to cheat and let him know you caught him but not in a messy way. Also, show him more respect. Not even love. More respect!!! |
My people getting deceived again. In a road of about 100km. 10km portion was constructed and all this noise? What about the remaining 90km? I know just like all the jokers in office before him, after this coming elections all this charade would die down. Same thing the fraud called Aregbesola did by employing 30,000 into OYES in 2011 within 100 days. These guys have all mastered the art of deceit and fraud. Yet the people refused to see the light. We deserve better! |
NIgerians are funny and some are very stupid too. They want government to cancel a tax related policy. Where in the world is that done?. Wanting everything for free yet they'll want NIgeria to be like America. Every citizen with a job needs to pay taxes. |
phorget:No no...I don't trust Obi. Nigga claims to be a saint and that's a red flag for me. However, the movement is impressive but the lies and propaganda is too much. |
[quote author=Ndlistic post=121678334]Ikorodu APC members are revolting because they did not pay them for voting APC on February 25, 2023. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5FmLb6bZ-U news is just nothing but sentiments and propaganda. The woman in the video is clearly a canvasser and she made that clear. They are the so called structures. Most of the online canvassers also got paid but gullible followers didn't know. Peter of Psquare used the OBIdient campaign to renew his Hero beer ambassadorship contract with Obi and that company. As long as these are not the voters induced then I can understand party members who worked for their party must be compensated. You may drink hypo over this news but it's nothing new. Media houses also got paid and these ones where did a job of working for the party on contracts terms to mobilize, convince and ensure people vote the party. |
excanny:Alpha Beta contract was passed into Lagos law, you won't just wake up one day and cancel it. Then if you must be honest and sincere, without Alpha Beta, Lagos can never on its own generate such level of taxes. Civil servants that we all know in this country can never give you such results. World over, governments employs consultants is any field to guarantee results. Even as President, OBJ had consultants in all states to supervise FG projects and policies, he didn't hand everything over to politicians and civil servants alone. |
Voiceofthestree:He may be a paid APC sympathizer but the truth is everything Gbadebo listed is not possible. How do you even announce increase in wages when you haven't settled in to know the true financial strength of the state. The issue of getting an assembly plant is foolish and stupid. He should instead be targeting manufacturer of assembly plants. GRV disappoints me with everything written here. These are just impossible totally. None is achievable. |
BurialGround:The names of those SANs that rejected Tinubu please? How can you lot be so brainwashed. Every fake news is always digested without even critically thinking. You have a brain, it's not for decoration, it is for critical thinking. Make it count! |
Losers have something to masturbate about again... 😂 Does guidelines amount to the law? |
I hope those OBIdient noise makers and propagandist learn. |
Ofunaofu:I thought the Old man said Nigeria would burn if Obi losses... tactless and butter souls. |
kk2027:So you mean APC has never bred competence? The same Frank Nweke who was one of OBJ's boys. I laugh in Swahili...I can go for Alex Otti...but you see all the others including GRV in Lagos are bound to fail. That's the truth. |
Skyview01:No of course but so far the move hasn't been made towards that. Eventually so far nothing had been different. It's still all noise and nothing spectacular. |
Vinnie2000:See and idiot here. The suffering you have endured for 24 years making your region the most retrogressed. No region has more immigrants than your lot. We switch parties here at will. The LP you want to die for now got it's first governorship in Yoruba land. When we discovered the party was also useless we dumped it. |
