Dangote should simply invest in exploration too. Many of these producers also took loans to buy rigs and pay government licenses and most of these loans are also tied to delivering certain quantities to their lenders. Dangote cannot arm twist the nation. Just like most rice mills, they won't support farmers or invest in farming but would be begging government to push farmers into selling to them. A smart business man will also create a feedstock for his factory. Let Dangote also invest in crude production. Simple!

Violent protest is bottled up anger against insensitivity or callousness of govt as well as perceived injustice, oppression and resistance of govt.....in such scenario, u cant tell a protester how he expresses that anger.

Looking at the drainage, it seems we have general problem in this country. I'm never impressed with the level of intellectual capacity of our engineers. They tarred a road but no rehabilitation to the existing drainage.
Don't our leaders go abroad to see the quality of roads? Drainage alone even increases lifespan of a road.

The question you should have dealt with is, what did Tinubu do when those conditions were heaped up by the last administration? What did he say? What corrections did he proffer? There's no way you will exonerate Tinubu from the maladministration of the last government while he was vocal during Jonathan's regime but lost his voice during Buhari's regime. Do you really think Peter Obi would have done better under a year considering the conditions met on ground? Because if government had refused to float the naira our reserves would have been badly depleted by now and we all know that speculators and bad eggs amongst us are actually responsible for many of these round tripping.
