franchasng:Sabmiller is a conglomerate but NEXT which is Obi's family business are shareholders. Even Obi admitted this. He only claimed he had resigned from NEXT. But as a shareholder in next he will indirectly benefit from that investment. Also, putting state's money in a bank where you have shares also cannot be said to be done in good faith. The most important question is where did Obi keep the interest on the money he saved. For your information, banks pay interest on fixed deposits ahead. They only pay capital back on maturity. Meanwhile, according to Anambra governor, the money sunk into the Buhari has evaporated as the value of those shares have sunk badly. Let's discuss facts and try to argue based on common sense not emotions. Yes Obi is no different from the others except the others at least invested state money and got profit from it. |
Did Peter invest state's money in family business or not?? |
potent5:How very funny you can be. You keep shouting drug case when even the US has repeatedly said there was never a drug case but evading taxes. Do you know what America did to drug Lords until the late 1990s? Google the case of Pablo Escobar and the King of cocaine. You think America will allow a drug Lord living in their country escape? America will seize all your assets not some. On his education, after shouting that he didn't attend school, eventually you have all seen proof that he did attend Chicago State, Mobil confirmed he once worked with them. For you information, on Alpha Beta they are also working with over 15 other states. Laziness is a disease. You all think Alpha Beta just sits somewhere and start making money? The company works for it. Mind you, his name is not on the board of directors of the company and if he was using the company to steal Lagos money, then other states including PDP using Alpha Beta must be stupid for allowing Tinubu steal their money also. I am asking you for facts and evidences you're still talking hearsay. You claimed Obi doesn't want Doctors to blackmail him? How is that so my friend? So if Obi truly didn't believe in local government elections, why then did he go ahead and still conduct one after 7 1/2 years? He shouldn't have conducted any at all. |
searchlight:You said I don't have sense. No wahala. Just wait till election results start coming in. Your imaginary cabal will disappoint you by then. Just don't shout rigging please. |
potent5:Let's stop being emotional. All your allegations against Tinubu have no proof, they are just hearsay. However, everything he's said about PO are backed with facts and evidences. Instead of you to explain the reasons why ASUU and Doctors were on strike and have a mentally constructive debate. You went straight into allegations that have never been proven, this is not smart enough. Remember Tinubu was opposition for years and PDP or EFCC never charged him or any of his associates till today. We don't need bandwagon arguments again...let's start talking facts to convince undecided voters. We all want the best for the country. |
How conveniently foolish to think an Emefiele who lost out in the presidential primaries is actually doing anything for the good of Nigerians. Something he didn't do to save the naira for 9 years in office. Not to forget that Gov Okowa was the one who influenced his appointment as CBN governor instead of Imokuede then. As far as I am concerned, Emefiele is not more powerful than the supreme court. Those who are blinded by emotions and refused to be realistic, thinking a careless policy as this would stop a phantom vote buying and will help their preferred candidates win instead will be disappointed again when the supreme court gives a judgement that favours majority of the people. Vote buying doesn't work anymore in Nigeria. People will collect your money and still vote their preferred candidates. Osun was an example last year. |
Ezeama400:Your self delusions are reasons you and your likes always gets disappointed everytime. You really think Buhari would want another party to succeed him so they can expose all the rots in his government?. This is the problem with PO supporters, y'all keep refusing to be realistic to the facts on ground and at the end getting disappointed and would start shouting rigging |
Holluwhakemmy:But campaigns so far has shown Peter Obi to be more tribalistic and divisive than any of the top candidates. |
iSense247:Obviously this is another pained politician. When they supported GEJ then weren't we facing the same problems as now in SW?. Who says voting PO would change the narrative? We may deceive ourselves with wishful thinking as much as we like no doubt but we need to be realistic about the problem and solutions of Nigeria. What has been Okunronmu's contribution besides always wanting to be a politician so they can feed fat on the nation. He and his likes are not fit to talk about Yoruba interest. Tinubu included. |
Na computer village me next. It's obvious this campaign is loosing steam. Obi has tried anyways.. He should work on this movement towards 2027. |
The reason Nigerians always blame the judiciary is at play here again.. always emotional and that's why APC seems to always be ahead. You are all seeing facts backed by law but chose to be emotional. PDP and Ademola Adeleke just wasted our votes and time on queue. These facts are too hard to ignore. Another appeal victory loading for APC. The appeal I saw from PDP won't stand in court. PDP lawyers needs to return all money collected... |
Anybody who believes this lie must be a fool. Y'all keep thinking APC are as foolish as you are. Forgetting they have brilliant brains amongst their crew. Yeye... The same way PDP thought they had it all in Osun until tribunal ruling opened everyone's eyes. |
iwaeda:The good thing about all the scenario that played out on this election is a good sign that NIgeria is about to be great. Maybe within 10 years from now. No tribe or religion can come again to preach religious balancing for us again. APC are doing it now and no complaining so when Christians do it tomorrow there would be a good reference. The likes of Wike and all speaking up now and refusing to bow out of their party would be star boys on future when the South has a President and a party Chairman. To really have a great country we need to look beyond everything that would require anything but getting the best. Then everything else will follow. I see a new Nigeria and I see myself in it. |
Jflex07:Would you do that if you were in their shoes?. Why are you scared already and wanting some persons to step down for your candidate?? |
toneroforever:Labour party can also go to court to stop them. It's their right to go to court isn't it? And mind you the President messed up when he gave CBN that directive meaning it wasn't exactly a CBN policy by itself but an executive decision. |
JOemmy:Can you then explain why none of POs former aides or appointees are seriously campaigning for him? Do you know when you deposit money in fixed deposits you get interest ahead and only the capital on maturity? The $150m Obi left behind where is the interest?? Meanwhile, morally upright people don't understand governance that's a fact and that's the problem Buhari has caused. Even the bible frowned against hiding money instead of using it for productive means. Obi who never understood production himself will come and use us for experiment and that will not be acceptable. That's the fact! |
JOemmy:There's absolutely nothing illegal in what we does but mind you he's not in the best position to now be preaching production to us because he lacks the rudiments of successfully handling production and would turn the nation into try and error in trying to achieve that..hence we need those who have experienced in first hand. |
SmartPolician:First I appreciate your matured response. Many others would have gone violent. The truth is we would both be idiots if we fight over these guys but we owe it to ourselves to screen all of them. Major problem is when they get to office they get carried away. Who could have imagined Buhari with all his military experience would allow idiots who used to be recharge card vendors operate with impunity under his government and nothing happens. Same way GEJ allowed excesses from his wife and most likely Tinubu would accept same from his children. However, I don't believe in a lesser evil. Evil is evil. |
SmartPolician:Yes I am beginning to support Tinubu. The US issued a statement that the man doesn't have a drug case in the US but he avoided taxes and was purnished. Obi on the other hand had offshore accounts to hide taxes. Tinubu worked with ExxonMobil and the company confirmed it same with Deloitte. Obi on the other hand has always been an importer, he once lied he didn't change his wristwatch in 17 years until bursted. Do you know Dangote now produces everything he once imports locally, from Sugar, rice, flour etc... I'll trust Dangote to deliver more than Obi. The only person who has ever praised PO has been PO himself. |
GoodHardDickk:You're joking right? There's absolutely nothing better about Peter Obi in governance abeg. Person wey claim he uses one wristwatch in 17 years until bursted, abi person wey be importer in almost 40 years for over 300 brands but couldn't find a way to manufacture a single product locally and now shouting Bangladesh figures?. Abeg park well there's absolutely nothing special about Peter Obi. He has been the only one always praising himself. No one else has come out to say anything apart from what Obi only says about himself. Don't be deceived on tribal sentiments. None of them mean well for us and there's no such thing as a lesser evil. |
socialmediaman:You really don't believe what you wrote here do you?? |
This is a Nigerian who against all odds braced the challenges and has been locally producing computers. Whereas Mr Obi instead for over 40 years as an importer doesn't produce a single toothpick locally but would be given lectures on Bangladesh. By their fruits you shall know them. |
SaiOba:But some healthy people are also gathering together campaigning for a man who once lied that he's been using the same wristwatch for 17 years. Better to conclude everyone in the country is mad one way or the other. |
AcuraZDX:How does Naira change improves the economy please explain?? |
Hendrixky:So who should be contesting? Atiku who sold all national assets and grounded everything and still promising to sell more if elected? That's not even to talk about SPVgate revelations. Or Peter Obi who is the largest importer of almost 300 brands of FMCG into Nigeria for the past 40 years but couldn't even think of manufacturing just a single brand and 6 months to election starts preaching about production when Dangote in the same period now produces everything he used to import locally? Tinubu at least met Lagos as the dirtiest city in the world and revamped that, met a Lekki that was totally just a swamp and turned in to billion dollar neighborhood today or is it the Lekki Free Trade Zone that has generated around 150k jobs already with over 50 manufacturing companies housed there as we speak? Till date when you compare this top 3 and I need you to be objective and rational here please... OBI DOESN'T HAVE ANY OF HIS FORMER AIDES CAMPAIGNING FOR HIM TILL NOW. ALL KNOW ASSOCIATES OF ATIKU CAMPAIGNING FOR HIM TODAY ARE FULL TIME POLITICIANS WHO HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN ONE ALLEGATIONS OR THE OTHER. TELL ME HOW MANY KNOWN ASSOCIATES OF TINUBU ARE ON EFCC WATCHLIST EVEN WHILE HE WAS IN OPPOSITION Truth is many Nigerians would do worse if they were in Tinubu's shoes by making their children landlords of Lagos. So what exactly does this woman have to say that is new? She's just been bitter. I haven't seen any candidate with better records currently than Tinubu. If you were raised in Lagos and know what Kuramo beach used to be with drugs and criminals. Now a revamp Kuramo beach is going for $1m per plot. Can you beat that?? |
Coolsperm:So your view in based on Muric? That's nonsense because Muric are just bunch of noise makers. Yes there's crises in those areas you mentioned but that's not an APC thing, that's Buhari's failure. Until we separate facts from emotions we will always get it wrong. |
SmartPolician:What exactly was outstanding about him Sir? We need to face the facts on ground. Don't quote me wrong I'm not a fan of Dangote but Obi and Dangote were both importers years ago but today Dangote produces almost everything he imports locally now, Peter Obi has been an importer for over 500 brands in more than 40 years but none of his brands are manufactured locally. Now because of elections he's singing production to consumption. I can understand if we hate Tinubu fair enough but I don't see anything special about Obi himself. I mean Tinubu attracted Lagos free trade zone which now houses at least 50 local production companies. In 25 years the zone will become Lagos property. Obi on the other hand invested in beer factory which we all know now the shares are worth nothing. I think what we need is not a leader with morals (as can be seen in Buhari's failures), we need a leader with capacity to select a team of technocrats. I haven't seen any of Obi's former appointees endorsing or campaigning for him. For the sake of all of us, I think it's time we start comparing facts from frictions. |
I've come to the conclusion that morally upright people like we had with Buhari don't necessarily make a good leader. What we need are intellectually upright people in government with some levels of morals. |
Ezeama400:Are you Tinubu? Everyone has a right to contest. The last time I checked he didn't put a gun to anyone's head to have them vote for him did he?? |
Personally I think you're a smart dude. I won't mind having to exchange contacts with someone like you to run ideas even in business. Many Nigerian youths would have wanted to show power. With the way you handled the matter I am so impressed. You shouldn't always let your enemies know your strength. Very vital. |
NothingDoMe:And why are PDP too stupid to use same?. It's strategy and PDP shouldn't be making noise about it. They should counter them too |
