Penguin2:It's normal procedure and Obi as a former bank Cheif knows this. Unless there's something we aren't been told o. However, the interest they agreed on I don't know. |
press9jatv:Actually No. The case ended in appeal court and no one as yet appealed to supreme court yet. However, the judgement of the appeal was that he was discharged but wasn't acquitted. So there's still a case to answer on that and mind you it's a pre election matter. Another major blunder was that even though some documents were submitted in 2018 that didn't add up well enough. They have perfected them in 2022. But the law can still bring 2018 documents to haunt you in 2022. Especially when it relates to election. That's the same problem Tinubu almost had with his 1999 documents. |
Penguin2:You all are so predictable. How many Nigerians really can cash buy their conscience?. APC offered 20k in Osun and people still voted PDP. If Tinubu wins you all would be shouting he gave out cash instead of facing reality. Vote buying doesn't sway more than 5% of voters. It only energies those who already planned voting for you. The complaint of Tinubu is that these policies would affect the image of government and by extension affect the ruling party. Mind you Tinubu was never part of the decision making of the Buhari government. So please you should be getting tired of all these noise. 99% of Nigerians would do worse if they were in Tinubu's shoes. In Osun the governor's sister slapped DSS officials less than a month in power because they refused to be turned to her domestic servants. These are the same people who would want us to believe Tinubu is a devil. Obi today has not told us whatever happens to the interest on the $150m dollars he saved in banks. Interests on fixed deposits are paid ahead. Let's stop been irrational and start facing facts. |
Is it that the politicians have already mopped up the new notes or the CBN governor is truly bitter that he lost and wanted to use this to make sure the APC doesn't win because the rush and lack of proper planning of this change makes it suspect o. |
The uselessness of certain parts of the Igbo culture is appalling. From calling a full blooded human OSU to saying some are Catholics and Anglicans shouldn't be given a chance. Indeed the Igbo need to reorientate themselves and really let others know what they really wanted. Some are shouting Biafra others are demanding Presidency yet the average Igbo politicians are the worse. |
9jahotblog:The reality of the law far outweighs the threats and beer parlour argument. I was in court for this proceedings and trust me it is a 50-50 chance based on the law. Most of what APC sort to prove will not fly but there's one which has to do with documents Gov Adeleke submitted in 2018. The law says any documents you submit to INEC at any time can be used against you in the future. If the APC lawyers can tackle that well they might just steal the victory. I pray they make another mistake like Lateef Fagbemi did in court by having the panel set aside the initial ruling on the admission on BVAS. If he hasn't made that mistake that day, I can assure you it would have been over for Gov. Adeleke. |
How convenient is it for Obi to associate with characters like this and Okupe all in the name of politics. Man needs to really distance himself before we call him one of them abeg |
Iwedunloye:Yes I may have but then I didn't hear of the audio revelation. I then felt he was a victim of hate. But looking at that with evidence, I have no apologies for calling him a thief. Almost 7 days now he couldn't even deny the audio conversation. |
alimiadedayo1:This must be a foolish fool. Must you respond to my comment. Obviously your likes sell your generation for crumbs just like your father before you. |
Demola Adeleke just lost my support. To campaign for Atiku after the whole revelations and evidence presented by his aides to proof the man is a serial thief. The Adeleke's are just showing their true colours. |
Nigerians really don't know what we want. Obasanjo that messed up our chance at democracy. We forget things easily sha. That's the difference between Africans and others. Too forgiving or just too stupid I don't know. |
Calm down bro... Young ladies love to play silly games to "test" their partners, so it's not a new thing. |
Yet Peter Obi and Tinubu are both talking about removing subsidies so the poor can be further improverish. They all don't understand that all countries subsides for it's citizens one way or the other. Instead of getting the job done by destroying corruption and smuggling they want the people to pay for government's ineffectiveness. Shameless lots. |
I think this is more of a cruise than anything else. Anyone could have done this. I don't think this was ever in the official APC pictures. |
My only issue with Obi is how he thinks his economic plans will work. The reality of Nigeria would humble many of his plans. Until we change fundamental things, the cry for production cannot work overnight as Obi is making it look. Looking at antecedents however, Obi demonstrated he could be a more prudent manager and will not be too interested in how his party will remain in power forever. But I don't think his economic policies can work in Nigeria. |
onuman:Not speaking for anyone but the real problems of flooding in Nigeria is simply caused by Cameron releasing it's dam when overrunning. The simple solution is for Nigeria to build more dams on that corridor which subsequent government have refused to do. We had some issues is 2015 and I was expecting Buhari to use his head and fix that problem but now he's leaving it for the next government. So our flooding is more artificial than natural. |
iSense247:The Chimamanda Adiche you put on this list is a total No. However for you to imply that these are NIgeria's most intelligent is a big shame on yourself. So where are the likes of Tony Elumelu, the likes of Jim Ovia. Mind you Okonjo was part of the government that refused to save for the future by stupidly following presidential directives to turn the savings into ATM for governors and politicians. |
Hell fires are nothing compared to a woman's fury. How come the woman didn't report this initially when it happened until they started fighting over property and all?? For over a year she played along until she knew the man may marry another wife... If he's guilty I hope he gets the judgement he truly deserves .. |
Report threat to life to the police ASAP. That will put fear in her from taking any steps and make her know that your family are also aware. Don't underestimate a woman please. They can act before thinking through |

According to the French Ambassador, this is a €110m euro project but only $6m has been secured. How will the next government raise the balance?. I hope this is not a plan to have another light rail that would take 20 years to complete like we are heading for in Lagos. It's taken Lagos 16 years to complete a phase of less than 50km and the ambition of Lagos is to have like 300km. Hmmm |
You've not done anything wrong. As a matter of fact you did everything right. However, it's unfortunate it met her at the wrong time. Keep massaging her ego by begging and pleading and sending her jokes. She will come around. She obviously still loves and misses you also by even calling you to warn you. Trust me she'll be back in your arms in 3 days time. Forget all those nonsense blasting. One can never be security conscious and the earlier you can determine danger the better the chances of rescue. If GEJ had sent rescue to Chibok girls the night the problem happened, we probably wouldn't have lost 300 girls till date. |
Isn't she the one who almost messed Timaya up and got him beat up by her church when he came to demand the car he bought for her?? |

God forbid I ever experience this again in my life but please never give a person dying of poison palm oil. Happened to a late cousin. Take the victim straight to the hospital. The palm oil doesn't work!! It rather escalates it. What she needs is the rubbish to be flushed out not mixed with anything else to compound the situation. |
The friend who told you this is surely one of the enemies of your happiness. That said, your happiness shouldn't be affected that something you can't control. How can you be sad over someone else's behavior?. Your husband is about to cheat and you're dying over that? Please get some thinking caps on. Just find a way to go meet him and the emotional attachment he craves would go down. As for that friend, stay away from her. You'll thank me later. |
Gudfadah:Personally I think I support your decision. Hopefully it will help reset your wife's brain. What's exactly the problem in raising a child. Also, you should approach the court and legally adopt that first child. Life is unpredictable, that girl may eventually become the most successful in the family and she may need to help her younger ones climb the ladder of life. Perfect the adoption and she becomes your legal child. Don't be pushed into sending her away please. |
It's standard procedure. You may have to pay some import duty charges. Your friend probably made a mistake when declaring the value. If it's electronics or anything gadget you must pay import duty. Contact UPS, they will bring you a letter from customs to inform you. |
I still fail to see what exactly Obi has done or did has a governor that is different from what other known politicians have done seperately besides not accepting severance package. It is always about building roads to inflate the cost and claiming to purchase things over and over again...I think we need innovative ideas and a real champion. I unfortunately don't see that amongst the candidates in this election. If debates or town hall amounted to anything, I think Kola Abiola seems to understand better how to change the narrative of the nation even though it might be hard to trust him. But he seems to have better ideas... my views and opinion but I think we just need to do away with these generation of professional liars...till now Obi still hasn't explained why $2m was paid to a contractor in cash. Tinubu can't explain the businesses he can run successfully without public funds and Atiku can't explain how and where he has made his money... |
In the real sense. I don't think Tinubu should be surprised because for years he had left the group and even financed the split body. Even though the group isn't exactly influential. I think it is normal they won't support BAT. |
Well from information available protesters had to storm the palace and it was alleged that most of the construction projects awarded by the state government in the town were handled by the royal palace. How true is that part? |
If you accuse PDP of supporting cultists. The only evidence of support for cultism in Osun is Asiri Eniba who is a known cultist and killer and he's a well known APC member. As for Oyetola going to court, it's within his right but that doesn't mean he didn't loose tht election. He may win on technical grounds if he has his facts. Olojuobinrin: |
