You can have payment plan with your university upon resumption.

For POF, you need the tuition for 9months (most likely your first two semesters)+ cost of living, cost of dependent (if you have any). Your required POF amount is heavily dependent on tuition which varies per school.

Hi guys I stumbled in here from the UK frustrated Applicants arena😢😁

I have some few questions regarding US cos I don't know how it works yet.

1. How much do I need to present to the embassy in my statement as POF(prof of Finance). In UK it's around £9,632 per year for mainatanance + balance tuition.

2. Do US schools accept tuition installment?


3. How long does it take to get Visa appointment. I tried Poland, I hear say some people wey apply don carry belle, born, yet appointment never cum😂

I would appreciate a detailed response and would be very greatfull for it.

Always make your question clear and understandable


It means to arrange the items in the order of importance naa..

Write a list from 1 to whatever number of items there..

Then from your own judgment start writing the items one by one in the list. Let the one you think is more important to the student come first and so on

1. Most schools accept payment per semester, so that is more or less install mental.
2. Yes you can but you have to show you have adequate unencumbered funds to take of your living expenses, pay your tuition and pay for return tickets. ( Having the funds is not just about showing the amount in your account, you will need to have the funds in your account for at least four months and show how the funds were raised either from your salaries or business.
3. Yes, you are allowed to work for 20 hours per week during school hours, when you complete your school, you can apply for Post Graduate Work Permit that allows you work for fulltime, this depends on the programme you did.
4. You would have research that and find out from the schools you intend to apply to, most schools have their minimum requirements for admission on their website.

I so much appreciate your response my Oga, I'm finding out that Canada isn't really easy with the Visa process expecially regarding POF. Unlike UK that just needs a month old Statement of the whole thing..

please bosses I have some questions I need help with.

1. Do USA/Canada schools offer tuition installment like UK does.

2. As an undergraduate student, can I bring my wife along as dependent?

3. Does Canada allow students swap/switching to work visa?

4. I have just my WAEC and NCE. How feasible is an admission and Visa.

5. Does Canada place strict working hour regulations on their student visa holders?.

So this is how I end..

My car engines knocked a month ago, it dint bother me much as I had a little find I could fix it.. took it for diagnostic and they said a piston and few valves went bad.. I paid for repairs and it was done,

Engine to start became a problem.. long story short kazeem mechanic has done more harm Dan good to my engine and is now advising me to just buy new engine..

Now I feel like just letting go of this life. my heart pounds, I feel heart ache.. I planed to use this car to huzzle out Visa and IHS fee before selling it to pay my tuition balance and this is happening.. where do I start from.. who do I run to

Who can I talk to: I feel pain.. I can't even find the right words to express my pain..

University of Essex precisely ssues CAS without deposit to all UG students that applied via UCAS.

So back to my question.. if I happen to get my Visa and my deposit still hasn't reached the school, will immigration allow me to still go? Knowing well that I haven't paid any fee deposit

I think you don't understand my question.. it's not about visa, it is if the immigration will alow me travel when my school haven't received my payment. Due to form A delays

Guys.. will I be allowed to travel before the school confirming receipt of my deposit?

I'm undergraduate and don't require tuition deposit before getting CAS, now they are processing my CAS, and I will proceed for my Visa once CAS is out.

From my calculations of form A delays. My payment my get there by mid-ending Sept.

I want to leave 5th September as my course starts 5th October. Will I be allowed to travel ?

I sat for IELT since 18th April(CBT) and the promise to avail result on 3-5 working days..
But uptil now nothing I have mailed them and no response yet. They have only provided a view only result in the portal which can't be used officially.

Hello but I have an offer with Essex too and there deposit is 2k before Cas I don’t know why they don’t state that on your un conditional offer

Any essex undergraduate student that applied via UCAS are not requested to pay any tuition deposit before getting CAS once you accept your offer, they start processing your CAS

This one you are looking for 5, 5 naira tuition deposit I hope you are not relying on paying the balance about 12-14k tuition with 20hr/week salary. .. Or switching to work Visa and dumping school

UK are making plans to clamp down on people like us...

However,

University of Birkbeck is your best bet.
2k deposit and they offer 6-12 month installment of the balance tuition.

By this time most UK schools are no longer taking applications but you might be lucky if they still have vacancy in the course. And also apply via UCAS.

Nottingham Trent University [/b]Deposit: 3k

[b]University of Essex : no deposit before CAS but you'll have to pay 33% of your tuition one month before your start date.

Teesside University : 5k

Birkbeck University : 2k

University of Bolton: I Don forget..


These are my Five schools I applied for Via my UCAS all applications were made after deadline, but Birkbeck and Essex have given me an offer,

Waiting on NTU before I cancel Teesside, them be craze,

Sweet thing is, they all offer flexible tuition installment.

Do you have a bsc already? If yes going for diploma might affect your chances of getting visa. The most important thing is getting in first, every other thing should align. There are affordable level 1 schools with a fair minimum deposit. If you can go through that route

I only have an NCE.. My main aim is a degree program in computer science, but guy! When I dey check their fees ehn! Omoh!!
