that's a great idea. how about collaboration on a technology kinda portal. where all Nigerian technology professionals and hobbyists can come and discuss and share ideas. that is in addition to tutorials.
i believe if we're going to 'launch Nigeria into the technology arena' as you said, then all of us must work together since there so few of us practicing high-tech in Nigeria.

You are right, microscale. It cannot be a one man show. United We Stand! I believe together we can do it (against all odds) and we shall do it.

since the spam bot wouldn't let us finish, I have decided to build a website for this purpose. The domain has been registered already; still uploading content. Once I have reasonable number of tutorials and projects uploaded, I will post the URL here. Remember; everything would be free; no gimmicks - its all about sharing and using our technical skills to launch Nigeria into the Technology Arena.

The second thing you wanna do, will need a Serverside Programming Language like PHP, JSP, ASP or the likes. It needs a level of knowledge of programming, although the interface (Form GUI) will be done using dreamweaver. Like your dropdown box and the likes. But making it work will require Programming!

Who told you DW does not handle PHP, ASP, JSP? You better say what you know!

Is it true that i can't host my domains with two different hosting company. What i mean is this if i host with a  web hosting company  and i don't like their service is true that i can't use another hosting until after 6 months. pls clarify this webmaster in the house

If you registered a domain newly, you may not be able to transfer it until after some months have elapsed; depending on the host (eg godaddy allows 60days - I think this is ICANN wait period).

However, this does not stop you from changing host: All you need to do is to change your domain DNS record (or have your registrar/Host do that for you) to point to the IP address of your (newly chosen) Host Server.

Publishing your website is not a difficult thing.

1. You need a web host. (there are quite a good number of Web Hosts out there)

U may still use our host http://www.twichihost.com

2. From your hosting account control panel (cPanel), you will have to install FrontPage Extensions to enable you publish your website from your FrontPage Application (since u used FrontPage for the design).
