Gerrard59: If to say we even get one black dominated country like South Korea and Germany, e for better. Imagine arguing about racism when na we poor pass other races? The bolded is what is most annoying. The fact that we don't have a rich sane black dominated country. Sometimes I wonder if we would ever get a rich sane black dominated country because my country Nigeria doesn't seem to know what she is doing. |

Monaboo: Opening up a thread for people to start recounting and narrating bitter experiences of their lives is not "facing the problem" Sir.
I come in peace.
I'm out So what do you suggest we do? |

Monaboo: This thread is not necessary.
It will only stir up unnecessary hatred and division for no just cause.
There are a thousand and one problems facing Nigerians today.
Let peace reign. Isn't that a more reason why we need to face the problem now? |

Gerrard59: A significant number of Japanese will not sit beside a foreigner who is non-East Asian except the train is full. When I went for an interview for my first part-time job, I used a narrow path which led to the train station, so I reduced time. More like short-cut in Nigerian parlance. At the point of entering it, one Japanese woman also entered. Few seconds later, she dey begin dey waka very fast while looking back. At one point, I wanted to say in Japanese that I am harmless, but my instincts kicked in, "don't say anything". Few seconds after that, she begin dey run o. Meanwhile, wetin dey my mind na how to arrive at the train station on time, so I reach the interview venue.
Other than that, nothing else. The Emperor hasn't threatened to push me into the Sea of Japan. The woman's experence with blacks must have been horribl or maybe she's just following stereotype. |

Luckily I learn coding but if I no learn coding that time I no even know wetin I for even do now. You need to be strong to do business in Nigeria. Very strong. They thinks it's easy. I'm not against starting a business but if your capital can't drive your business for more than 2-3 years, then I advice not to start. We have to tell ourselves the truth. |

Food for thought - Germans see you as Halmitic race from europe settlers. Italians see you as illegal immigrants. North Americans see you as non-human apes. Japan see Africa as continent in need of help. So as China. China see you as black faces with bad luck. US see you as primitive and full of disease. They also see Africa as a jungle full of wild animals. Australians see you as primitive. Koreans see you as people without water and basic amenities as depicted in the movie shooting stars. Some people see Africans as fraudsters especially Nigerians. Also see Africa one poor country.
Stereotyper of Africa gotten from wikipedia.

The solution is just make peace with the reality of your existence, and find ways to escape or improve it. but don't ever think it's only green at the other side.
