The material used in making the tights they wear are not cotton, but rather something like polyester fabric.
The kind of heat it generates alone within a short period of time, can roast a full yam. It's like using nylon as an underwear.

Cycling shorts/three "quarter" trousers is more popular in the west.
It's convenient for women who change underwears once in six months.
Pants are easily torn and can cause yeast infection for a woman, if it's worn more than once or twice without washing.
But "tights" is a different thing altogether. They can wear it for as long as they want, without washing.
To make matters worst, the tights are usually coloured.
For me, any woman putting on cycling shorts or "tights" as they prefer to call it, lacks a proper hygiene in my books.
Such a woman is a no go area for me.
