Na dem sabi. Progressive governors progressively making life more difficult for the citizens with misery, poverty, sorrow and hard labour. Progressive governors pushing one emi lo kan who in 2014 brought an idea that produced one baba like that, under his watch Nigeria has suffered never ever recorded untold pain on all fronts. |
Na wah. “The party stalwart further explained that the panel expected Wike’s representatives to focus on resolving the crisis and not present conditions that may be impossible to meet”. Is the issue not Ayu’s position as the chairman? If Ayu resigns, the problem ends. Atiku cannot risk playing around Wike. By far Wike is the biggest and most confident financial supporter of PDP. Wike too should bury his face in shame when he talks about betrayals. He knew it was the turn of the SE and forced himself into the position. All the while he was positioning himself, he did not know that Okowa - a very sound political planner and strategist - had long concluded with Atiku to be the VP. Whichever way it goes, I do not see an Atiku victory in 2023. His impatience cost him in 2007 and I think this year is his last opportunity, just like Mr. Emi lo kan. |
This OP without knowledge just exposed the fact that BAT has been doing all in his power to get Obasanjo on his side. OP must be to young to know the history of the endless battles between Obasanjo and Tinubu. Those deceiving themselves with their omoluabi beliefs do not know that Obasanjo pays you back for friendship, just as he destroys you as his enemy. Tinubu was one of those forces that stopped Obasanjo’s third term plan. Now the same Tinubu needs Obasanjo’s support to achieve the presidency. Do not forget once again that Obasanjo pays you back in kind. He never forgets and never lets his enemies escape. In his book he clearly stated that he is a military man completely and that the politician is found in bourdillon. Ogun state is governed by APC and the expectation is that the governor must make the meeting colorful. Afterall Tinubu said Abiodun would not have been governor without him. If this country will remain as one beyond 2023, we need a man who understands how economies work. A man who understands how nations are run. A man with a strong political will to correct ills and move society forward. We do not need a looter or an enabler of looting. We do not need a tribalist. Tinubu’s supporters say this is a Yoruba agenda. One wonders how rather than call his ambition a Nigerian agenda, they make it tribal. |
Now that he is on suspension, how is it that the present chairman has not acted appropriately on those cases? |
Neoteny:“ I don't care what their grievance is, but i do care that their actions have far-reaching consequences far beyond their own personal interests. Do you have any idea how many law-abiding, struggling businesses are going to be badly hurt by this act?” This part of your comment just makes me laugh. You just showed why strikes are veritable instruments for workers in labour matters. Have you not thought that workers have families to care for? When wages are not paid, how can they meet up with their obligations please? Are workers not law abiding citizens too? Are families of electricity workers not innocent people too? You commented that I just heard one side of the story. Can you tell us the government side that you know for the purpose of this discourse and for clarity? Is there any law that stops electricity workers from going on strike? If work conditions fall short of agreements, what should follow? Do you want to say that it is not appropriate for workers to go on strikes when politicians embezzle allocations for salaries/entitlements, while workers remain unpaid for months/years? |
femisplash:So Tinubu, PMB, Atiku, etc, all make their tea? Do you not know that soundness of health is an important factor in making their tea? By the way how many of them have the health to take tea? How would you ever believe that a man of Obi’s level wears a pair of shoes only? Na wah sef. |
Chai. What a country. Shay Shay Shay Shay Shay shame to APC. Electricity has become rocket science. They used propaganda. They used threat. They threatened blood on the baboons and monkeys. At last see where APC keep Nigeria. Some people shouting emi lo kan have promised to continue where baba go slow stops. Eight years beyond 2023 with APC, owu go touch even Dangote himself. |
oghalebros:Mr. Tribalist and you expect other tribes to throw the chance they have to clinch the presidency to your tribe? Shay Shay Shay Shay Shay shame. |
ufotunang:Go and sit down somewhere please. Obasanjo embezzled 16 billion years ago and after almost eight years of failed promises by APC, you still leave in that Stone Age belief. |
Neoteny:“Members of the electricity union are protesting the nonpayment of outstanding arrears owed to former workers of the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), suspension of conditions of service and career path for workers and the directive by the TCN board to conduct promotion interviews for acting principal managers who are moving to Assistant General Managers”. Did you read the above? Do you know how long the union had been approaching government to attend to the matter? This present government encouraged strikes against GEJs government and by their propagandist ways convinced Nigerians that GEJs government was corrupt and irresponsible. What do we have today? ASSU has been on strike for months with no hope yet of settlement. There are crisis everywhere and yet, no solutions can be found in sight. When you say Joe Ajaero single handedly ordered the economic sabotage, then you do not know how the unions work. When you also call this an economic sabotage, what then will you call the ceaseless looting of public funds by the political class? Do you not know that every sector of this country suffers from the endless corruption of the politicians, including electricity? |
Arysexy:In all my years, this is the first I have seen the electricity people go on strike and shut down their stations. The entire nation currently is total darkness. APC has broken all known records on failure. This country goes from one crisis to another daily and some shamelessly tell us the the country is working. Unfortunately some are so completely bewitched believing that voting for APC in 2023 will rescue this nation. For those who wish to continue living in poverty, misery and sorrow, please vote for APC in 2023. |
FreeStuffsNG:Chai. You ask Yorubas to vote for an omoluabi, without the slightest sense that your omoluabi needs votes from the entire country to make him the president of Nigeria. What a very serious case of myopia that you suffer from. Your comment is one of the worst examples of tribalism and one of the reasons why this nation break up. You even split the states on the basis of your warped understanding of how you think the elections will play out. Shay shay shay shay shay shame. |
“seniored”?? Abeg bros eh, you go school? Abi you no go finish? You still get mind disgrace yourself like this. Chai. Seniored? That English word was created by you or who, please? |
Requesting for a refund should serve as a way to checkmate the unjustifiable high sums demanded from party members. How would a party as its presidential candidate to purchase the form for 100m? One can clearly see why corruption has risen, when the gatekeepers have become the burglars too. Refunding the fees of those who lost appears appropriate. |
apache22b:You want Tinubu to win on APC ticket, yet you do not believe in Uzodimma to market the same Tinubu in Imo state? Did you read and think very well before posting? Peter Obi has no track records. No be only track, na field records. |
HeeBraHim2:How old are you, oga? Obviously you know ZERO about the politics of Nigeria in the 1960s that you ignorantly and pretentiously have opened that your mouth to talk about. If you are asked just casually or off hand to name the parties in the 60s, you cannot respond. If you are asked what form of government Nigeria ran between 1960 and 1966, you cannot reply except you are told about it. You may not even know that what you read in the books may absolutely not be the same with the first hand information given by those who had were there when the historical events took place. Tell us how an Azikiwe; an avid reader, a nationalist, the only nationalist who spoke Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba fluently; whose knowledge from his return from America in 1937, influenced the establishment of the national library, etc, used the power of the president to seize UI and Unilag. Please stop disgracing yourself. Maybe you are not aware the Zik was a ceremonial president under a then existing prime minister. On the account of the constitution then and the existing political arrangement between the two political parties in the coalition government then, with Balewa’s Northern Peoples Congress (NPC) being the senior partner and Azikiwe’s National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons (NCNC), the junior partner, Zik was a ceremonial president. Powers were with the then prime minister, Balewa. What do you know about the coup and how it played out? ABSOLUTE NOTHING! If Ironsi changed the political leaning then as a military president, how come Gowon, Murtala, Obasanjo, Buhari, IBB, Abacha, etc, did not revert to the old order? You just wrote for writing sake. Absolutely you have not even read historical events or asked questions about the political landscape of Nigeria post independence. |
I doubt it that Shekarau will leave inspite of his disagreements with Kwakwanso. He has the senatorial ticket for NNPP which is too late to get from any other party. If he wins, then he might decamp to whichever party would be the ruling party in 2023. It is already late for him to decamp, otherwise he will be out of the power equation in 2023 and beyond. |
Congratulations and happy birthday to IBB. He never hid his age. The economy of this country went into ruins during his era. We have always known his birthday, unlike one baba like that, who was with him in the armed forces. They were there right from day one, yet the baba’s birthday remains a mystery. The baba claims to be 70. God dey. |
E no get mind to face the law. E get mind to drive against traffic. As e escape, im motor no escape. Already confiscated. Unfortunately, unfortunately, unfortunately na the owner of the motor lose. |
Great to hear. Please let Dangote and the rest in Nigeria invest in our football clubs to make them great again. |
Stealthninja:She’s a human being. Na she get her body. When e begin give am different diseases, make she no call anybody. |
Yoruba1stson:The spirit of emi lo kan has possessed you completely. Oya keep on dancing it without end. |
Some will decamp from PDP to APC. Whichever way they go, Obi/LP will take over in Edo state. |
100% |
Politicians look at all ends. Before Ayu became the chairman, they considered the possibility of his renege on the agreement. They surely would have made him write a resignation letter and properly sign it. That letter, we read is in the possession of David Mark. All they need to do is to affix the date and he’s off. Ayu has not always to play straight. Wike’s camp only ask that he keeps his word and walk away. They ask to be allowed to produce the next chairman from the south. That’s the issue and PDP can move on. Unfortunately Obi/LP are on an ascendency. Who the gods want to kill, they first of all make mad. The rofo rofo fight within the APC and PDP will cause them to lose grounds to Obi before 2023. |
Good to see him move around. We must move away from the days of financially inducing the people. |
So tay na international lie lie now. Chai. |
Tareq1105:We are talking about the complete incompetence of APC please and any right thinking leader, including Peter Obi, can put a permanent end to it. You have not told us how your party or principal can end this persistent problem. At least PDP preferred a solution to the problem in October 2006, while they were in power. With the disgraceful looting of the immediate past accountant general, we clearly saw that an abuse of the IPPIS system. Isa Pantami once told the National Assembly that IPPIS could be abused. The disgraced accountant general once claimed that he could not find records of IPPIS. It became a veritable source for looting the wages of in Nigeria. The objectives of IPPIS amongst others are to ensure centralised payment of salaries, ease, convenient staff remuneration payment with minimal wastage, facilitate easy storage, updating and retrieval of personnel record for administrative and pension processing, aid manpower planning and budgeting, etc. The university lecturers rejected the IPPIS on the grounds that it violated university autonomy. It is fraud probe and ghost worker friendly. They subsequently came up with University Transparency and Accountability. UTAS was developed as a homegrown and hackproof payment system to meet the peculiarities of the university system. The labourer is worthy of his wages and a system that is easily abused like the IPPIS, by those who should be the gatekeepers, makes life difficult for lecturers, students and parents. An employee has his rights in every organization. The organization has the responsibility of ensuring payments as at when due. A violation leads to strikes like this. The reason why this crisis lingers is that APC plays the ostrich; pretending to tackle corruption, while corruption has become worse. When one man pockets over 100 billion along with others, how can wages be paid? Obi’s is accountable. All we need is an accountable leader. We do not need a leader who does not know what happens around him, how much more the nation. |
Na so |
Then why not re-draw the map so that it can be well known? No wonder they bring import them into Nigeria during elections to claim the so called northern voting power. Jagbajantis people. |
No worry. |

2 former Ogun state Governors and the current Gov all there are in Asiwaju's camp! If you add HE Amosun who stepped down for Asiwaju at the APC primaries, it means all the Governors of Ogun state since 1992 are backing Asiwaju Tinubu! Ogun, like all SW states with the second highest No. of registered voters in the country, is already in the kitty for Asiwaju Tinubu.
