now that's just not fair embarassed
My butt is numb, just seen the mid-credits scene, waiting to see if there will be a scene after the credits. First of all, Avengers 2 was awesome! LWKMD. Tony Stark kept hitting us with one liners. The film starts with a bang, the action was badass, Joss Whedon did what he does best - witty action with banter and the occasional hit in the feels. We got some back story with our more illusive Avengers. An unexpected attempt at a relationship with the 2 characters I didn't even think of. Whenever they decide to go the way of the mid-credits, I'll be so ready to see how it pans out.
Oh no scene after the end credits. So that's just one scene in the mid-credits.

Kratos's a coward when war hit sparta he called for heris help. But when war hit persia in two thrones, the prince had to face the monsters all by himself without calling for a god's help.
No Kratos called Ares when he was going to be defeated by the Barbarian King, his pride would not let him fall to someone he considered a lesser adversary. He called for Ares' help at the last possible minute. The Prince did not do it all by himself, he had the Sands and his corrupted dark self in Two Thrones, without the Sands the Prince would have died in the first game.

Mustiboy:
hermes had no strenght he just could run like flash. Didn't you see the way kratos dealt with him, he just chop off the guy's leg as easy as that. I'm not talking about the prince's speed here, all i'm saying is the prince can twist around kratos so that his weapon would hardly touch him. Kratos is a god with mortal body, the prince's a mortal also, they both can die. The prince's swiftness will give him an advantage of being able 2 mount kratos and send his dagger through kratos's bald head. Remember not only kratos fights beasts, the prince do fight beasts also.
You keep going on about the Prince's speed which is simply at human peak, it's not supernatural or enhanced by magic, he is not that swift. Even Kratos has been shown to possess the agility as well, even for a man with his size, he ended his half-brother Hercules, even though Hercules was stronger than he was. He battled the gods and won, the Prince would not stand a chance. You seem to forget that scar in his torso is not a beauty spot, but the remains of his first battle with Zeus that killed him.

oh my god, how i wish u could understand. Dante and kratos's aggressiveness with no tactics is no match for the prince's swiftness and skills. The prince is just like rey mysterio vs mark henry, i can bet that rey's gonna beat henry handsdown. It's not by uncontrollable anger and strengt it's by tacticts and some sense. The prince is the real warrior jare, dahaka is no joke oh! But the prince was able to overcome him.
The Prince is not the Flash, he's not that fast, he relies too much on the Sands, for him to know all the moves, he has to make all the mistakes first, and thanks to Kratos and his previous dealings with time travel, he would be immune to the Sands. Kratos fought Hermes and won, the fastest of the Olympian gods. Kratos ended him. The Prince would die quicker than Hermes did. Game. Set. Match.

Yoruba people made Lagos a great city decades before Nigeria as a country and this is the same reason why other tribes moved to Lagos to take advantage of the good work Yoruba people did on Lagos and even the FG government made Lagos the FC for the same reason.

Learn to give credit where it's due and quit discounting other people's achievements. This is what many Yoruba people and Lagosians find insulting and denigrating. It's also your own brand of hatred.

Just before 16 years ago when Lagos was neglected and left stinky and rotten, many of you didn't had many unpleasant things to say about Lagos state, even here on NL, we see and read all the mean and evil things the same other tribes especially the ones from SE post on NL, they labeled Lagos state the worst place to live on earth, they post any negative international media story about Lagos and they never hesitated to abuse and denigrate Lagos state leaders and governors.

Other tribes did not do Lagos any favors simply because people work and pay taxes regardless where they call home Lagos is a great place today because of good, credible and skilled leadership with strong sense of duty and purpose and the fact that the same other tribes and their leaders can not replicate back in their states what's going on in Lagos shows this is not about tribe, but leadership.
You do remember most of Lagos was forest before Nigeria was a country, right? Just like most of Nigeria was. Anywho, I was born and bred in Lagos, the Lagos I grew up in was not filled only with Yorubas, it was (and still is) made up of different tribes. Do not get it twisted, the tribes who came and stayed in Lagos, helped it flourish along with the indigenous Yorubas. Just like Abuja has now become a financial hub, years after it officially became the capital or have you all forgetten how the migration of the HQ of several businesses moved to Abuja & business soon followed...Abuja didn't become a star by itself, it had help from all tribes involved.

Back in the day when Nigeria was truly something, people got jobs in Lagos, due to it being the capital back then, they moved their lives to the bubbling city and stayed. We need to stand as a united city and country, those of you suffering from the shared mentality of hatred, need to step up and remove themselves from the shared shackles of tribalism and move forward. Instead of sitting down and throwing blame on tribes. This is what I as someone born and bred in Lagos, but not of the Yoruba tribe, find saddening when you let tribalism creep into your mindset. I never have and never will hate someone solely based on their tribe.

I think you are wrong. He said rest, not become inactive.
Rest implies a period of reduced activity to ease tension or reduce stress.
Your brain pretty much rests when you are asleep as most brain fuctions are shut down. Thats why people feel refreshed after a nap.
Your eyes also rest when you are asleep because your cornea and lens are not receiving any input {light}
Your ears rest when you are asleep because you are not actively hearing anything and you dont need balance when you are asleep.

So the correct answer will be the brain and the nose. Both organs have no periods of reduced activity whether you are asleep or awake . Your heart beat per minute and breaths per minute remain the same whether ur asleep or awake (except when performing strenous activity or under stress).
You can live without a nose as long as your mouth still functions or if someone performs a quick tracheotomy. When you nose is obstructed, you automatically start breathing with your mouth. Now if your windpipe becomes obstructed, then it enters a new level of horror.

When you're sleeping, you could say you're in hibernation mode, your brain can never rest, if your brain rests at any given period of time, you lose the function to breath by yourself. Technically, if we're looking for the definitive answer, then it's the brain, it can never rest. I've never heard of a successful human brain transplant. Heart transplants have good succesful rates, people have been brought back to life during the 4 minutes of grace (a human brain without oxygen after 4 minutes experiences severe brain damage) after CPR, noses and ears have been reconstructed for bomb victims. Cornea transplants have a decent rate according to the NHS of 75% lasting at least 5 years, with 65% lasting up to 10 years, that's if your body doesn't reject the corneas of course.

Comparing apples to oranges in different boundaries. Slavery was forced free labour but that never happened in Lagos. Dr. Abraham's words were in context of the Oba's venom towards yibhoes and I believe as a prince and heir to another throne, he understood where he was coming from.

Also, people from different continents are named after those continents for a reason. That is to shower ownership. No amount of integration/desegregation/globalisation can change that. I'm post-modernist and I'm outlook is bigger than being PC. That gives me insight into what people say, hence I can see the truth in what Dr. Abraham said...unlike you with herd mentality and an outlook that is tied to possessing the possessions of others.

Hate, wickedness, fear, insecurity, and bile are what make Yibhoes tick. I guess that is why as a lion, it is my responsibility to always call them to order by roaring at them.

I ask again: do you want to be a lioness, or do you want to continue as a sheep?
To put it bluntly story story stoooryy, once upon a time, time time, you were the same person who tried to use the American response on the Japanese attack of Pearl Harbour when you attempted to call it as genocide with respect to Igbo genocide...You didn't notice it was apples & oranges then?

I go wary of you repeating the same rhetoric time & time again, it would appear that you do ultimately share the opinions of pro-segregation. I tire of whipping a dead horse and arguing with a break wall. But thank you, for confirming every assumption have accessed about you from these hours. You do have an irrational fear and hatred for Igbos, regardless of your Osu/Igbo girlfriend (I didn't know the Osu branding still happened, oh well you learn something new everyday). You do equate Igbos with wickedness. You believe that Igbos possess a hive mind. You'll follow your Yoruba brother to the ends of the Earth, simply because he's Yoruba, regardless of his morality, ethics or misguided beliefs. You will condone genocide as long as it benefits the Yoruba superiority and its advancement at the expense of another tribe, especially if said tribe is Igbo.

Finally, I weep for this lion, whose head has been brainwashed in the guise of misguided patriotism, maybe one day said lion will arise from its sheep trappings. For the third and final time, bye bye LordExecutioner, you appear a lost cause, whose mind has been saturated with hatred. Goodnight and good luck.

That's the exact issue I've with the Prince, he relies too much on the Sands, the guy literally died minutes after getting the Sands, by the time of The Two Thrones, he had become corrupted by the Sands thanks to his persistent use. Separate him from the Sands, he would not stand a chance. Kratos was already a BAMF before we knew he was a demigod, he was the youngest Captain of the Spartan Army & his bloodlust was legendary. Even though his full god powers (as Ares' successor as the god of war) were drained he still ended the reign of the Olympian gods.

The Prince is a mere mortal with a supernatural weapon, Dante is partially supernatural with supernatural weapons, Kratos is partially supernatural AND mythical with magical & supernatural weapons. The odds are firmly stacked against the Prince.

Darling, if unchecked, yibhoe expansionism into the heart of Yoruba Kingdom with vengeance, is a threat to Yoruba culture and existence. That is basically what Dr. Abraham was talking about and I understand. It is not about today, it is about future generations. We all can co-exist peacefully with yibhoes keeping their part of the country, while Yoruba do the same.

You said you are not a sheep, but rather than read his comments with a clear head, to understand where he is coming from. You joined the bandwagon with herd mentality to label his opinions genocidal. He never called for anyone to be killed, he just questioned why yibhoes keep fighting Yoruba for Yoruba land, when they have got theirs. I support what he said and will always do. It was blown out of proportion.

I'm not a sheep. I'm a lion and I eat herbivores. Do you want to remain a sheep, or become a lioness? The choice is yours.
If unchecked? It's thinking like this that leads to greater chaos. The Yorubas are not the sole tribe that made Lagos into a great city, it was all tribes involved. You sound like the oyinbos in the past who applauded segregation with the usual excuse that God separated the continents, so they should be no mixing. Of course, they forgot that they went into our continent in the first place and then stole people to work on their cotton farms for free, but that's another story.

It's your kind of thinking of tribalistic interests and securities that become leaps into grandiose displays of hatred. Little movements eventually become irreversible canyons...You're merely a lion, who's misguided hatred has turned him into sheep, and you're now oblivious to your own folly. Your words time & time again have shown how you feel about Igbos. It truly is a shame that they're Nigerians, who would allow the irrational fear & hatred for other tribes to consume them wholly.

All yibhoes did. And I believe you also bought the book but you are in denial. The average yibhoe has a herd mentality that makes him believe he is a victim even when he is clearly the instigator.

That mentality is also been played out here with the witch hunting of this man over his personal opinion. He is a private citizen, not a public figure; and what he said on his private page isn't criminal at all. You won't win against him in a court of law. So why is everyone troubling the man and put his personal information everywhere?

I'm my brother's keeper and whenever a Yoruba person says anything that will protect/enhance the Yoruba race, I shall support the person regardless of whose ox is gored. The only thing I won't support are unjustified killings and unwarranted hatred.
Now apparently you know me. Unlike you, I don't partake in tribalism, this was honestly the first time I've heard of this book, which I refuse to Google to even read, life's too short to spend it hating tribes. You're not making your Yoruba brothers look good, but unlike you, I won't hold it against them, I'll hold it against you & those who chose hatred as a path.

This your Doctor, who you didn't waste time to applaud when you believed the words were his, if he really wanted to be serious, he could press charges on defamation of character and identity theft, why hasn't he? You do know there are cyber forensic specialists that can easily check his claims? The right papers could be given for facebook to see his log-ins & activity, he can use this to also defend himself. His statement reeks of delayed damage control. He appears to have shot himself in the foot. If this is honestly an attempt at the defamation of his character, the thruth will be revealed. But, I honestly doubt that.

If you choose to be sheep, that's your prerogative. I refuse to be sheep, I'll never condone vile acts or applaud misplaced patriotism, tribalism needs to die, we're Nigerians.

It's an unfortunate pattern I first noticed during the election season, especially in the political section with the Igbo hatred. I even noticed it when a FP post made a particular effort to mention an Igbo man killing his wife - a few months back I believe. Then there was a NLer who made it his life mission to state every news-worthy atrocity committed by an Igbo person and then proceeded to spam it on every FP thread...and other sad acts of tribalistic hatred.

It's a sad state of affairs when people continue to blame one tribe for a country's faults.

Did Dr. Ariyo call for genocide, or was he just in the same state of mind, Franklin Roosevelt was in after pearl harbour, as a prince? And what is wrong in defending the interests of his own people?

Yibhoe naturally like blowing everything out of proportion and that is the primary reason why I have decided to keep rebuking yibhoes till they take wickedness out of their hearts. Yibhoes are wicked.

The doctor never called for genocide of Yibhoes. Those were soundbits from a heated debate the man and a few friends. And he unapologetically declared his support for Oba Akiolu; emphasising why yibhoes need to develop Onitsha before Eko natives have their cup full and start doing what is going on in South Africa. Did he tell a lie, darling? Isn't there a limit to what every human being can take? Where did he call for the killing of yibhoes?
The Japanese attacked the American Naval Base in an act of war, so war was declared. He did not declare a genocide on all Japanese home & abroad, he declared war. Excuse you the Doctor is not the Oba, the doctor made his comments on facebook, the Oba made his comments to the ceremonial Ezes that came for whatever deluded reasons. No one should ever attempt to sway anybody's vote by cursing. You yourself as a self declared Yoruba Prince know how we Nigerians take to curses/oaths/vows, if an Igbo man had said this, you'd be screaming bloody murder.

As a ceremonial head, the Oba should have used his perceived wisdom to state his concerns/opinions without sounding like a headless chicken. If a supporter for a British party had tried that over here, they would have been consequences. With the elections looming closer, swift actions would have been taken to ensure the culprit was punished. Even UKIP (kings of anti-immigration in the UK) will distance themselves quickly, which they've actually done time and time again, when a racist supporter has been publicly called out.

So you can't even attempt to compare the war between two countries, with the staunch tribalism that exists between the people of our own country. The more this tribalism escalates, the more the Igbos in Nigeria will start looking like the Jews in Nazi Germany, if that's what you want, then you've got really dark days ahead of you, honey.

Since you refuse to accept your own irrational hatred, while hiding behind a vail of misguided patriotism to your tribe, I'll leave you be to your vices. Remember hon, when you realise that an oyinbo racist only sees your colour, they sure as hell don't give a damn about your tribe, maybe the more staunch tribal haters might see the light... You did tell a lie. Igbos did not fill all the posts of power. Goodluck Jonathan is not Igbo, y'all need to get that through your head. I got what you were driving at from the get-go, but I just wanted you to know that you can't give literary meanings to everything. Some might be figuratively/metaphorically speaking from a different perspective. Then you have unique meanings for whatever they put out there. Say 'Bush' for example: that can be someone's surname like George Bush. Alas 'Bush' means something different in English usage. Comprehendé?

Greener pasture seems vague since everywhere is green, it just depend on how you can use it to ur advantage. If yibhoes can easily seen 'Green' everywhere else, why can't other people see the 'green' in Yibhoe land and move there? Is there anything wrong with yibhoe land that scares people away?

Like I told you on the other thread, I have an Osu yibhoe girl as my girlfriend. A girl other yibhoes hate, discriminate against, and won't marry. That should show you I don't hate, I congratulate/adulate if necessary. But I don't condone the wickedness in the hearts of men, darling.
And like I told you there, your own words have shown how intolerant you are about the Igbos in general. No one else wrote those words, you did, while you were of an apparent sound mind. You state time and time again about the wickedness of Igbo, you've equated Igbo to wickedness, have you not? So pulling the "I've an Igbo girlfriend" card does not remove the fact that your own words have given evidence to your hatred for the tribe.

Sidebar: So today is the day of the triple bill, I'll try to put a mini-review of Avengers 2 here after I come back, so I'm guessing that's around 2 or 3 am, if I don't crash first.

I don't hate yibhoes.

And I actually have an Osu yibhoe girl whom other yibhoe hate and discriminate against as my girlfriend.

Now tell me who is more tolerant?
That's sounds like the oyinbo "Some of my friends are black, I can't be racist" card. Your previous comments say otherwise, or aren't you the same guy who was pro-genocide on Igbos. Now, that doesn't really prove your tolerance claim, does it? I'm not going to start quoting your words, but were they not your words? From your words alone, it would appear that you do have an irrational hatred for Igbos.

Yes, we know the saying "actions speak louder than words", but when you're on an online forum, your words are your actions...and they've been doing a lot of damage.

LordExecutioner:
There is no irony in my username, darling. I execute plans and turn them to money. A lord and saviour of implementing any plans, unlike yibhoes who execute human beings.

Your comparisons don't hold water. People move everywhere around Nigeria, apart from yibhoe land, where people move past and don't move to. Why is that? People move to Jos, Kaduna, Kano, Ibadan, Ilorin, Delta, Taraba etc. You will find yibhoes everywhere habitable in Nigeria. But in yibhoe land only yibhoes live there. cheesy

Is there no action in yibhoe land apart from sheer wickedness and intolerance, darling?
See Lord Executioners in WarHammer games and the literal meaning of executioner and it's use as the carrier of death AND you fearing someone killing someone else. That is why it was ironic. I might as well state, I don't obviously condone what this man has done, but it would appear I've to repeat myself - evil is evil, regardless of one's tribe.

The comparison does hold water, they've gone there seeking greener pastures, but like I said earlier in the other thread - you've an irrational hatred for Igbos. So, regardless of anything I try to say, you will not budge from that pedestal of hatred, you've let it ingrain, fester & grow in you. So, again good luck with that.
