china has actually increased its trade with many african countries and therefore the chances of china deciding to dump the dollar once and for all are looking more and more likely once china does this other countries will follow suit and there will be a blind panic by almost every country with significant dollar holdings to rid themselves of them.

investors have also demonstrated thier lack of confidence in dollar denominated investments by switching to buying other currencies or buying gold - the chinese are buyign huge amounts of gold.

1. NATO predicted a battle that would "only take weeks." It got bogged down for eight ( months.

2. NATO remained furious with the incompetence of the rats (rebels), and expressed their frustration openly, many times.

3. NATO announced that its pilots were suffering from fatigue.

4. NATO commanders began to express fears of being brought before a Nuremburg-style court, on charges of war crimes, and began telling some of their pilots to stop bombing, even though they were flying over Libya.

Why would Jibril quit at this time of "glory," when Muammar Gaddafi is supposedly dead?  Why? Why would he be "looking glum" at this time.

Here is what I believe has happened. The political leaders, who do control NATO totally, have had it. They instructed NATO to do something--anything that could give them a "good" excuse to end this war, save their money, and so-call proclaim a victory.

Here comes Hillary Clinton, the racist, psychopathic, war-mongering b_ _ ch, just yesterday, calling for the death of Muammar Gaddafi. And suddenly, one day later the deed is supposedly done. Is this to be believed? [/b]Perhaps.

It appears to me--although I cannot prove this in absolute terms--that NATO has surrendered, due to pressure from the political forces that control it, as well as due to it's own assessment of its performance as being [b]"ineffectual" and "pathetic." An initial report from AlgeriaISP, which stated that Dr. Moussa Ibrahim had announced that Muammar Gaddafi was actually killed, is now said to be a complete hoax (See Libya S.O.S.) .

As time passes, more and more of the pro-Gaddafi blogs are reporting (on what basis, I do not know) that Muammar is alive and well.  T-West, of AfriSynergy, submitted a video report that states that Muammar Gaddafi is not dead. Morris Herman doubts the media reports. Stephen Lendman believes NATO and the rats are lying. The Russian supporters at za-kaddafi.ru are adamant that the mainstream media reports of the death of Gaddafi are false.

In truth, it doesn't matter. This war was never about Muammar Gaddafi. This war is about justice vs. injustice. It is about freedom vs. slavery. It is about psychopathic racist domination vs. sane, human cooperation and love.

The fight has to continue, whether Muammar is dead or alive; whether he is out of communication due to strategic reasons, or whether he's out in the open speaking freely.  The fight is a global fight for the emancipation of the human soul.

People, I ask you to continue your humble and heartfelt prayers that Almighty God allow justice to finally prevail; that He give us the understanding of why this crime was allowed to take place; that He make us worthy of the task of holding up the Green Flag of universal truth; that he forgive us our weaknesses, and that He help us to attain the Final Victory of Peace.  Ameen (Amen).

i was born in the UK but left as a child to live permanently in nigeria with my parents - i returned to the UK due to the extreme hardship that the nigerian govt had plunged the ordinary man in nigeria into.

All brought on by the nigerian govts decision (or coercion) to collaborate with the IMF and the world bank to impoverish 99% of the nigerian population using structural adjustment policies or austerity measures.

given that i had a choice of staying in nigeria or seeking greener pastures abroad i chose the latter simply because i had the wherewithal ie the passport to do so - now tell me what would you have done in my situation?

the vast majority of libyans supported and continue to support Muammar Qadaffi if you dont know.  why did millions of libyans congregate in green square to show their support as recently as July and August of this year?

up till today there is no proof that Qadaffi bombed his citizens - even the former US secretary of defence Robert gates confirmed that NATO had no proof that Qadaffi bombed his own citizens, the russians were using their satellite system to monitor air traffic on the day that the supposed bombing took place and there was no trace of air traffic over libya on that day.

NATO are lying murderous scum but dont worry beaf they are planning on doing the same thing in nigeria very soon.

I don't understand all this love for Gadafi by Nairalanders. What is wrong with us? So because Gadafi gives handout to Libya people he is now God and should be justfied in their massacre. Who owns the resources that we are are talking about? is not the Libyan people? Look, I don't Like NATO or the arrogance of the west, but there are times when people cry for help and someone has to step up to help them.

People keep talking about how Gadafi is good, and simply forget all the atrocities he commited towards his own people. Nigerians will never tolerate the things that we are asking the libyans to endure forever. I personally would prefer if african leaders were able to stand up to gadafi and force him out, but the reality is they are all idiots. Gadafi was given a long chance to stop killing his people before the west stepped in. He would still have been there if he wasnt greedy and heartless. Before you blame the west or NATO, ask yoursevlves, if you were in the position of the libyan people in bengazi who were about to be exterminated by gadafi and his children wont you be happy to have someone stop them?

The libyans will kill themselves just like nigerians are killing themeselves now. It doesnt matter, because they will find a way to live together after all is settled. Gadafi did a lot of good in libya but he has no right to treat his people like that.

i actually took the trouble to look for it on the UN website and low and behold "they" have removed it , fortunately a vigilant journalist kept a copy on his own website - here is an excerpt of what Qadaffi said:

And the preamble says that all nations are equal whether they are small nations or whether they are big nations as far as rights.

So, the veto is against the charter. The permanent seats are against the charter. We do not accept it and we do not acknowledge it, neither do we recognize it.

All had been forgiven until Qadaffi lashed out at the west during this speech , he is therefore  right in saying that the west planned to oust him for his lack of respect for them.
