Sancho was actually not greedy rather he was not strategic, almost all big transfers have an element of the player himself pushing for it. The issue was that he just the do shakara for us simple, the hype by most of our fans got to his head. The greedy party here was dortmund CEO, he was even giving ED deadline, a mafia crook like Woodward he is giving deadline. The issue now is that watching dortmund closely they are already preparing Gio Reyna to replace Sancho, very soon Makouko will be promoted to senior team to take over when they sell Reyna, they are a selling club, so paying Sancho 200k/week is a time bomb for them, the reason they even upgraded his wages was to get big transfer fee but they overplayed their hand. Buying teams will capitalise on that

Finally i think we have to commend Ed on not bowing to Dortmund. Imagine them trying to play such hard ball on a player who had no other suitors.

He might be temporarily off form, however, he is not worth the amount dortmund is asking. No wonder they don't want any performance based add ons they wanted all the money upfront in this pandemic.

They issue with dortmund is they don't necessarily need sancho in football terms. There is hazaed, Brandt and Reyna all who can replace him, and a lot of players waiting in the academy, first sancho will not improve their fortunes on the field more than what it is now, secondly he has to give way for another youngster to shine so that they can sell for big money as usual. His wages too is too high they will be looking to get him off their books. They thought ED will budge and pay the money asked for, they don't know that ED has changed his style look at what he did to porto for Telles . No team is ready to splash astronomical fee for any player as it doesn't always end well. Dortmund will be very lucky to get the reported 90m that man u bid for him ever again. TBH we should be looking to rejig our front line. Rshford, Martial and Greenwood are competent attackers but we need very deadly attackers to kill off games. People like Kane, Halaand and Son

Lindelof was tired by the time Kean entered. Also don't discount Keane so easily, he has talent despite his Everton flop.

The high line we played aided our pressing game. We can't play high line and press efficiently with Maguire and Matic. Ole should better give himself brain and do the needful.

I just hope so, I was surprised how ordinary Kean was opening us up. But like u said let's not underrate him.

McTominay was good throughout, and played very well on a yellow card. fred grew into the game and was really good in the 2nd half. He also saved 1 or 2 loose Pogba balls.

Fred and Mctoms did very well. Especially Mctoms.

Tuanzebe i am certain is faster than Neymar by far. Over long distances Tuanzebe was faster than Rashford in the youth team, so that part of his game is no surprise to me.
I am more interested in watching his decision making and positioning. His natural speed and bad luck with injuries means he has not had time to work on those 2 issues.

I don't know about his positioning sha, but his decision making looks very ok to me. That final Mbappe run towards the end surprised me. That was VVDesque. Ole should please quickly give him a competent defensive coach to fine tune him. Currently he has Strength, Speed, Confidence, composure and OKish decision making (which can improve with more top level games). I think Positioning might need to be improved on and we have a quality CB in our hands.

As for injury, he is still very young do I won't classify him as injury prone yet.

Tuanzebe bailed us out a number of times as well. Fred and McTominay were quite immense. Martial was probably the worst player but he held the ball and linked up well, and his pressing was on point also.

Exactly. But doc what will you say about how Tuenzebe tracked neymar and mbappe when psg were on counter? Aren't we looking for a defender that can track the runs of dangerous and speedy opposition attacker's and snuff out the danger? My prayer is that we move on from that Sancho transfer and spend that money on a workhorse CDM with excellent passing ability and on another CB. Bailly should be moved on next season.
