TrebleChamp: Our midfield is still a worry, i hope they address it in January even if na loan deals... We need a pair of Midfield starters. I watched Wharton yesterday, I was surprised how good that guy is. For me sell Ugarte, casemiro Contract finishing to free up Cash. Go all out for him. If Baleba will be too expensive, Scot for a Competent DM to compliment him. Move on Bruno or move him to AM where he is more effective and less of a defensive liability |

MRTA7: I really like our new keeper Lammens. Solid nothing fancy or crazy just steady. Not too much to ask. If we had Onana or Bayindir in goal today, we would have conceded that ISak strike that he saved with his legs and that shot from Salah that went wide, 2-1 in 50mins, Gakpo later to make it 3-1, then another howler to make it 4-1 late on. QED |

The same korea SE struggled to beat in 2010 and yak missed an open goal or the same medium european who you struggle to beat in2014 and 2018? Aside from 94 and 98, the SE has been shambolic against opposition of any confederation yet some people will be goofing around because they qualified for play offs they are not sure of when their mates qualified directly I would have replied you with better analysis, but you i wont since you felt insult is the best thing for you to deploy unprovoked. |

BankyGee: This is why I want us to go to the World Cup! WE WILL COOK!
Make them first give us Jordan for a start 😂 Nigeria always does well against medium European teams. We have beaten Greece, Bulgaria twice , Bosnia, and Iceland, we were leading Greece 🇬🇷 in 2010 until Sani Kaita madness. We always are unlucky to meet Argentina always. We also always overcome teams from Asia. Our biggest issue is SouthAmerican teams. In 2018 world cup Senegal had Poland, Japan and Colombia. If we had that kind of group we would have qualified to the second round. Our group had Eventual finalists Croatia, Argentina and Iceland 🇮🇸, and Iceland was really good that period. Even if they give us say SouthKorea, Or Saudi or Watar, plus Mediun Euro team like Austria , Scotland 🏴 or Czech Republic and Big team like Argentina 🤣😁. We should qualify. Argentina Korea Austria Nigeria |

minfelix: go and check their qualifiers table…Honduras has qualified to the world cup already I have checked it tay tay. There are still 2 mathes to play in November. Honduras is on 8pts Costarica is on 6 points. 14/11: Nicaragua vs Honduras 19/11: Costarica vs Honduras. For Costarica. 14/11. Haiti vs Costa rica 19/11. Costarica vs Honduras (possible decider). Meanwhile Costarica needs to be careful oo or else Either Suriname or Panama can overtake them in second team ranking. They seem to be draw specialists like Nigeria. For me if possible let Caracao and Suriname come out from cCONCACAF. |

minfelix: Chai intercontinental play off in march 2026 go dey interesting sha, let me start my own simulated prediction 🤪🤪😜 Intercontinental play of teams Conmebol (1)= Bolivia 🇧🇴 OFC(1) = New caledonia 🇳🇨 AFC (1)= winner between Iraq vs UAE 🇦🇪 (i pick UAE) Concacaf (2)= Curacao 🇨🇼 and Costa rica 🇨🇷 CAF(1) = Nigeria 🇳🇬 (my prediction 😀)
Now this is how it will be arranged from fifa source:
2unseeded teams faces each other from two different brackets more like:
bracket 1: (New caledonia 🇳🇨 vs Bolivia 🇧🇴) my pick : Bolivia to win bracket 2( Curacao 🇨🇼 vs UAE 🇦🇪) my pick: UAE 🇦🇪 to win
then winner from the 2 bracket of unseeded teams will now face the top seeded teams according to fifa ranking for the remaining 2slots for 2026 Fifa worldcup
More like: Nigeria 🇳🇬 vs UAE 🇦🇪 Costa rica 🇨🇷 vs Bolivia 🇧🇴
My pick: Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Costa rica 🇨🇷 to be the 2 final qualified nations It will be played in Mexico. Omo we need to do everything to avoid Bolivia oo, they play well in high altitude. They do well in high altitude. From your projection if we can play UAE that will be best. |

Lol, if Nigeria don't start exhibiting bipolar tendencies again, this playoffs should be a breeze.
I predict Costa Rica as our deciding game in March. They're roughly on par with Jamaica. If we could put Jamaica away with our B team, I'm sure we can beat Costa Rica if we face off. If Costarica qualify to play offs we will avoid them due to fifa ranking |

Cocony: It is not confirmed yet. The outcome of DR Congo game is a factor first followed by October 2025 FIFA RANKINGS which will determine who plays who. That is the correct basis for the playoffs from CAF perspective. From the look of things if we hopefully qualify from the CAF ZONE, the main threats will be the Asian and South American Representatives. Bolivia has qualified from SouthAmerica. If we qualify with our Fifa ranking. We will not meet the South American representatives |

We had good moments, yes But we didn't control the game Benin always looked like they would score anytime We still need to fix our midfield We should be controlling games and smashing opponents I looked at the make up of Benin team, they are not minnows as some people are making them look. They are playing in very good clubs. They will always pose a threat. We Osihmen was just clinical, they were not poor. |

Moreso the draw against Zimbabwe cost the ticket .. however thanks 🙏 to Eitrea who withdrew The coach need to replace Ndidi with Onyeka or Onyedika Permanently. We should continue with the flat 4-4-2. GK: Nwabali. DF: Ola Aina; Fredrick; Bassey; Zaidu/ Agu. MFD: Lookman; Iwobi; Onyedika/Onyeka; Simon/Chukwueze. FW: Osihmen and Adams. Fisayo Dele-Bashiru will be back too for the play offs. |

We still have Cameroon's Bryan Mbeumo, Carlos baleba, Chupo-moting, Anguissa, Andre Onana to deal with..
Aubameyang and Gabon...
Yoanne Wissa, Wan-bissaka and Axel Tuanzebe to deal with in the play-offs...

My major fear with the playoff is the interconfed stage. The intercontinental play offs has very lowly teams, and due to our FIFA ranking we will only play one game |

You feel sorry for Benin, but when they knew it is over for them, they were wasting time and goalkeeper pulling saves all in the bid to deny us the needed goal. Abeg forget that thing abeg. They dont like us as most people here think. Moreover tgose hyping Gernot Rohr. He tried in Benin but there is nothing spectacular, he got 17 points from 10 matches, Niger got 15 points from just 8 matches. Little xountries like Madagascar, Mozambique etc got more points. Even Comoros ,Namibia and co got similar points. So whtever he did in Benin is ordinary |
