That Barcelona team that Fergie packed the bus against is a very useless team. They finished 3rd in Laliga 18 points behind useless Bernd Schuster Madrid that is one of the worst Madrid teams I have seen in my life, and 10 points behind Villarreal. They only qualified for that semifinals by beating Celtic and stuggart in the preceding rounds. This current Liverpool team will destroy that Barca team home and away

Don't get it twisted. What we played today is not the same as what those teams play. ]Even whenever Fergie defends, you still see that blistering attack from time to time.] The transition from defense to attack was instantaneous. How did we become a fantastic counter attacking team then?

Nobody will bat an eyelid if that's the case. We will even barely notice the emphasis on defense as long as we win.

The thing is Mou should find tactics and ways of breaking top teams down, not play for a draw and hope for a win.

It's one thing to defend well and attack nicely when it's time to attack. It's another thing to throw attack out the window and defend for almost the whole duration of a game.

I don't know how he'll do it but Mou has to figure it out. He needs to set up his team such that there's a way to attack and defend well against top teams.

Oga mi Chelsea had lost the first leg, and are chasing the game at this point, that is a knock-out game, they don't want inter to get an away goal (which they did anyway through Etoo) so even Chelsea themselves are cautious too. I watched the game full. Inter Packed a decker bus all through that 2nd leg game. How about the semifinals versus Barca and final vs Bayern,?they even met Barcelona at group stage and needed a draw to go through to the next round, mourinho again achieved his landmark 0-0 draw to qualify and won the whole thing.
If mourinho was managing Chile,they would have drawn Brazil and qualified for world cup. Result is what management needs not AY Shows.

Go and Check United games versus Liverpool it's usually pack the bus tactics even during Ferguson. United versus Liverpool don't usually produce goals. the scousers usually raise their game whenever they see mourinho, anybody that condemned mourinho for this draw is either a hypocrite or doesn't know history. Ferguson would be highly excited with this result regardless of Liverpool's form

Look that picture well again, Your man made and average tackle per game of 2.8, when bag of beans made just 2. Upon those plenty tackles racked up 2.4 fouls for his team while BOB committed less fouls, not minding he played more games, even olori Kante was committing lesser fouls with less tackles. Your upgrade is more of a liability to his team.

Now look at interception and clearance for the both of them. Your upgrade cannot even average ONE interception per match As a holding midfielder?? Not even up to ONE clearance per match?? He only made more blocks which is even very poor considering his wayward tackles and passes, his dribbles are even poor.

Don't you know what average passes per game is ? Somebody is making 29 passes per game and another is making over 70 passes as a midfielder and you said they are running shoulder to shoulder? Kante that is doing all the work still has 55 passes, Erickson has 54, while your "upgrade" is averaging 29 passes per game.

Passing accuracy of 84% against 87%, considering the former made only 0.5 long passes per game and the later was making nearly 5 long passes per game and still achieved a better accuracy? You're totally missing the point. You're grossly missing Diggz's point. What you listed is what Rashford had achieved AFTER he'd been given a chance REPEATEDLY to prove himself.

BEFORE Rashford blew up, there's no hype surrounding him, at least not that I or numerous United fans all over the world can think of. Angel Gomes had 100% more hype at his stage currently than Rashford ever had. Rashford was TOTALLY unknown before his success story.

Rashford's case is the kind of happening that comes out once in a blue moon. He didn't even go on loan like Tammy Abraham and achieved something before he blew up. He's extremely lucky and blessed to have stumbled upon such an opportunity. Injuries happened to our first team attackers, and even the likes of Wilson that LvG could've called up to replace Rooney weren't around and LvG OUT OF NO OTHER CHOICE turned to Rashford, not coz he's hyped high in our reserves. It's basically a case of no other choice and the rest is history.


You can't compare Musonda's case with Rashford. If Rashford was in the era of young Rooney, Tevez and Ororo, it'll take the highest form of talent and otumokpo for him to break through without going on loan. Breaking through in a top club is very hard to come by.


Rashford was lucky FIRSTLY, then he took his chances and never looked back. Musonda so far, hasn't gotten the repeated chances Rashford got, and I don't blame him for that. He's to be given chances like Rashford and if he flops then you can blame him. I don't blame Conte too, at a big club the coaches are at extreme pressure to win and not give chances to youth which could backfire.

His first 2 matches he scored 4goals, scored in his Manchester derby debut with outstanding goals, I also remember one goal like that outside the box versus westham. So he wasn't given a chance REPEATEDLY, he EARNED it rather than GIVEN.
