Icon79: You're right. For some reasons, I thought we're on 11 points already. Anyway, if Zambia fails to win tomorrow then we'd just need to win or draw against Zambia to qualify. I like our chances
O pari Even if Zambia win tomorrow, a draw against them in our next match sends us straight to Russia. |

wealthywiseman: Not so. If they are lucky to beat Algeria, they would be on 7 points while we remain on 10. A draw against Zambia at home would suffice. The head to head rule will decide regardless of the outcomes of our last matches and scoreline. That's what people don't know. A draw against Zambia sends Nigeria to Russia no matter what happens in any match, starting from tomorrow. A point against Zambia at uyo is enough. |

cassyrooy: Should Zambia win tomorrow, they'll be on 7pts. If we draw them we will be on 11pts while they on 8pts.
If we lose our last game and they win with high goal margin, we're out.
Therefore, #OperationFinishZambia Once we draw Zambia we knock them out on head to head, maximum Algeria will get even if they win all their matches is 10 points. Cameroon are officially out. So once Nigeria gets a draw next match it doesn't Matter what happened in any match. |

BluntBoy: A win for Algeria tommorow and we would need just one point from our remaining 2 matches. Even if Zambia win tomorrow, they will only have seven points, once we draw them at home. It's 8 points for them, 11 points for us. We knock them out on head to head. courtesy of our 2-1 away win to them. |

hoopLA: Lol bro you've already planned out the scenario. I don't see Zambia getting a win in Algeria though. It's very difficult to see that happening as bad as Algeria has been lately. I just hope we don't lose tomorrow(or is it Tuesday?) because that could throw the group wide open.
Plus I read somewhere that key members are a card away from suspension. If that is true then we need to be a bit worried given what happened vs South Africa. You are correct |

hoopLA: Agreed. But with the euphoria of Friday's good win I think anything other than a win will be a disappointment to the largely unreasonable fan base of the Eagles. You need to hear call in radio stations. All the fans are talking about how far we can go in Russia. So it will be hard to digest a draw given that expectations are sky high at the moment.
For me I'm not carried away. The eagles are still deficient in a number of areas: goalkeeping, both full backs and probably the wings though it doesn't look like we go that route anymore (I.e wing play). The Cameroon side is piss poor and how they won the CAN is beyond me. But the eagles are a in a lot better shape than they've been in recent memory, the only surprise is how easy it's been thus far against sides that are ranked higher than we are.
I'm pretty sure Algeria makes Zambia drop points too. Zambia has a shocking record in North Africa but the Algerians have been mediocre too.
Either way we need to gets draw in Cameroon and beat Zambia here to be sure of qualification. The rest of the group appears to be cancelling each other out thus far. Once we win Zambia next month at uyo, we have qualified regardless of any result others get even if we lose tomorrow. If we draw tomorrow , we just need to take points off Zambia to qualify. If Zambia wins all their matches from now, they will have 13points, but if we draw Cameroon and they win Algeria, they will be at 7 points, the super eagles will be at 10points. When they come over to uyo next month, we just need a point to qualify, as we will be at 11 while they will be at 8. Head to head rule will knock them out courtesy of our 2-1 away in Zambia. |

Godstraight: my god why can't you folks read?, how many competition did zlatan play for united?,how many points did his goals win? Oga stop yarning dust. Ibrahimovic played 46 games last season scoring 28 goals. Which is an average of 0.61goals per match. Costa played 42 games scoring 22. Which amounts to 0.52 goals per match. It's you that can't read. What is my business with who won more points, so if Ibrahimovic score against Everton with his individual brilliance and Felliani came in to stupidly cause a penalty that brought about the equalizer, while costa scored away to palace, and azpilicueta makes a last ditch tackle to win the match for Chelsea, so it's costa that won the points while Zlatan lost the points for his team. Or Zlatan scoring versus Stoke, Everton again, bournemouth, westham, Liverpool, Man city etc and his defensive teammates couldn't hold to the lead due to school boy errors, whike costa scores versus westham, Wes brom, Watford, Boro etc while his teammates held on with defensive masterclass, it translates to costa being superior? You really amaze me. |

I never said morata was better what am telling you is lukaku is not better than morata,he doesn't play often but now my guy dey Chelsea,we will resolve who is better this season, local champion like lukaku, morata seft scored 27 goals last season for Madrid,he has come to a new country and he is already scoring,my guy has played and scored in the highest level not local champions like lukaku.baba calamity cahill is still better than all your defenders[except baily],which of your defenders reach him caliber, nor be smalling, jones, etc una get, inconsequal bunch Which of the Madrid did he score 27goals? |

BlueAngel444: common positions they both share. CB, CM, wingers/attacking players and strikers (won't compare full backs and wing backs)
In cb Chelsea has Luiz, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Rudiger and Andreas
ManU's best CB is bailly right the others Chris, Or Jones, Rojo, Victor (5players)
Andreas is easily equal if not better than all 5
In CM manU have Pogba, Matic, Herrera, Fellani, Carrick (5 players, quantity)
Chelsea Kante (POTY) Fabregas (only Pogba can match his passes and attacking threat) Bakayoko (easily better than Fellani and carrick, in defence and attack) Drinkwater (isn't a DM but has better defensive stats than Matic, great passer)
Wingers/attacking players
ManU have martial, mata, lingard, micki (he is ur best in this field)
Chelsea have Pedro, willian, Hazard and musonda
Let me be fair and compare the least attackers in both teams, that's lingard and musonda (even you know lingard isn't worth his salary, you begin to wonder why him and not januza) lingard isn't more talented than musonda he just has more EPL experience (of course he is older)
Ur best attacking player isn't better than willian
Now strikers
Lukaku is better than Morata
But
Batshuayi is better than Rashford
And maybe
Costa is better than Ibrahimovic (2017 era)

was Oscar part of the team that won the league last season? is it the matic that y'all said was slow and couldn't play to save his life? or is it Terry that sat on the bench more times than he saw playing time?
like I said, this is not about buying or selling
Morata bakayoko Rudiger drinkwater zappacosta
these are the new additions to a title winning team, so why shouldn't Chelsea win the league? Don't mind Them, they sold a lot of young academy players who are not needed in the team and 'slow' Matic. Adding 'upgrades' to a title winning team, but no a team that finished sixth that bought Chelsea rejects must win the league or its burst. |

SetrakusRa: Matic had direct impact? Same Matic that almost all Chelsea fans would cream their pànts if he was missing in their starting XI and prefered FabrePass.. Remember, he's a chelsea reject.
Kante was the engine room of that midfield.. They've replace their weak-links (Matic, Ivanovic, Costa) with "upgrades" (Bakayoko, Zappacosta, Morata).
They must win the league and more! Yes Man United signed Chelsea rejects and automatically became champions, after finishing sixth, while Chelsea signed Upgrades but are not favorites. Imagine the logic |

The champions that upgraded their team are favourites, than 6th team that fixed their shortcomings of last season.. Chelsea must win the league and FA Cup this season, with atleast a QFinal finish in UCL.
BTW, i think netspend is irrelevant in the current transfer market. Net spend is truly irrelevant, only Matic had a direct impact on the team winning the league last season. Selling on loan youngsters is not selling key players. |

Conte massively upgraded the champions so should be favourites, not a sixth place team that plugged a few holes. |
