.they are similar in terms of their intelligence and the way they both deliver exquisite pass, But Nedved has more pace and is more attacking. Excellent player won the ballon dor in 2003 I think.

That Czech team that he was the key man is one of the most mesmerizing and entertaining NT team i I have seen. His attacking line together with Milan Baros and Jan Koller, Supported from the Midfield by Vladimir smicer, Karel Poborski and Rosicky. Very exciting team. Euro 2004 was when they wowed everybody.

Let's get something straight. This team can still win the league if manager, players and fans pull in the same direction.
But if you are not assessing with a biased mind answer these 2 questions?
1) When was the last time a team won the league without an away win against a Top 6 club

TBH no team has won the league without winning an away match against the top six and it will be definitely very difficult to do that, Personally I like results and will prefer 3 points in all our games against the top sides, but to be fair Chelsea only got got 4 points away last season from those games, the only match they won being away to city, which if they had drawn or lost, will still walk the league. These "top 6" was actually technically formed last year, and to be fair they have never been as strong at the same time as now. That been Said, away wins such as the one we missed last Saturday would have been handy in our title bid, but not as if it cannot be done without. After all away games against the top six is remaining 4. We are just 3 points off Chelsea's total last season, not as if I support getting just 3 though as more may be required.

It has not happened, except last season but again, he has not come against a stronger "top six" as this. Last season his team finished 6th, it was clear the team was deficient in several areas, which he has addressed some this season. It's not just the top six, how many games in general did he win last Season? The team has improved tremendously this season and I can assure you that there will definitely be an away win against the top six somewhere this season, let the team continue consolidating on beating the lower/mid table teams, which we have solved from last season. The solution for the big teams will surely come.

This 2nd one is for those that keep saying " JM has always parked the bus, so we shouldn't be surprised".

Coming back from an absorbing international break with our midfield wiped out by injuries, and the fitness of some players highly unstable, there is bound to be a lot of surprisibg results teams like Juventus, Chelsea, Arsenal and Dortmund lost in a match they are supposed to win routinely. Mourinho doesn't want to give Liverpool any chance of boosting their confidence at his expense, hence his conservative approach. Now Liverpool a top six club is without a win in 8 games. There is no evidence to show however that he will not win any away game versus the big team this season and vice versa.

I will honestly suggest that mourinho leaves United, so that the board can try the so called Football Aristotles so that we will know which is better.

Anyway knowing Jose Mourinho and someone who has countlessly said he leaves clubs (or maybe forced out) when there is nothing interesting him anymore he won't be building any 20 years dynasty here, not in this era... At Chelsea it was the players, the owner.. I am not trying to link it, But Mourinho brings competiveness, and dodgedness to any league he goes to. When he entered EPL in 2004 it coincided with when the beginning of English dominance in When he left England was back to shit. he went to Laliga in 2010 Spain took over, he came back in England last year, English team has started putting in shifts with the recent results. I not reading any meaning to the coincidence though. But hate him or love him, he is a serial winner.

The SAF that I know will do anything not to lose against Liverpool. Fergie was even shown applauding the team after a strong performance from a defensive point of view.

If we can be able to avoid defeat away to the top teams and pick up the points against the lesser teams, the way I see it, we are still on course to win the league.

Every manager has his own tactics, Jose's own is defend when necessary , and batter the smaller teams, he is the most successful manager still in the game. His records speaks for him.

It's more of this obvious need to complain when there is a hint of a bad display, even when we win. That is the part I still don't understand.

The team has made its best start in years to a Premier League season, but all we get is complaints.

Defensively we are more sound and appear more sure footed than last season. Yet no one sees tthis as any sign of progress.

We are second on the log. City will encounter periods when things will go wrong for them. Hopefully we will be able to capitalize.

Our solid defence will be handy one day in the later stages of the champions league, if not this year, in the coming years.
