Pope22: Is that one cheap?, please give me a link if you know, really am interested. I change this generator almost yearly cus I use it with my ac and it also affects it. I will advise u go to Alaba(if u r in Lagos) negotiate very well.mine is just 2.5kva .but It depends on ur needs,I got angry, cos I pay for my dstv and still buy fuel to watch it...I don't use AC with mine(only wen NEPA comes, which they've really improved)...It will be more expensive and a higher KV if u want to use AC with it.I spent 450k for mine.Gen and NEPA na my back up. |

manosteel: Developed countries with all their technological know how and good safety regulations are winding down their Nuclear plants, while Nigeria even with our corruption level want to go Nuclear. My sympathy goes to the host community. Those proposing this Nuclear plant should pay a visit to Japan and see the effect of such venture. Anyway my home is not anywhere near Kogi. Exactly bro...the developed countries are going green,we should be thinking of renewable energy and not this exaggerated project.smh |

Our governments maintenance culture towards infrastructures are very poor to start thinking of Nuclear Energy....they can't even maintain ordinary football stadium and they wanna go into nuclear energy. My only fear is RADIATION,if there happens to be a leak like in chenobyl or in Fukushima in Japan,do we have the resources to contain it? |

No matter how rich, strong ,handsome and famous a man can be,if a woman is smart ,she can keep him forever,if only she can be respectful and always remind the man that he is the alpha male, the numero uno but codedly she runs the home front and everything. But recently women wants to rub shoulders with men and talking back(men hate talking back)...We men are polygamous by nature, but a good woman will always tame us. |

biafransoul: Peter Obi remains one of the best brains in financial management in this country and I respect him for that. To be frank, other governors should emulate what is happening in Anambra state in terms of financial management and governance. Once again, kudos to Mr Peter Obi And to think that nothing was working in Anambra state some few years back......Meaning,there is serious hope for Nigeria! |

PROUDIGBO: ^^^The city is planned, but the problem is that it hasn't seen much investment/upgrade in its infrastructure to cope with the increased population.....like flyovers for instance. You are spot on,drove around Owerri during Easter n most part of the east,Owerri needs just fly-overs and it will be perfect. |
Nairaland General › Re: Bird Turns To Woman After Electric Shock In Oshodi, Lagos (graphic Pictures) by caprini1: 4:53pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
greggles: I have some Observations:
1. The high tension was not pictured above the woman as convincing evidence 2. Electrically (scientifically), birds do not get electrocuted because perching on only one of the high tension wires will not electrocute them or anyone who stays on only one of the 3 or 4 high tension cables 3. I don't believe one will get burned by electricity like she was and still stay alive, my guess is that fire or something else did that, Maybe she painted herself black to resemble an occultic person (as they do in Nollywood movies)
4. I am not an expert, my argument is open to contest Well av seen a bird get blown to pieces at the high tension cables at the National theartre,in Lagos |
