Nigeria is evolving gradually, and in the evolution of any country,it must be piloted by a purposeful, directional and change driven leader who believes in change, growth and stability. Hate has so clouded our senses,so much so tha people will not commend whatever they see as good. The present leader has taken us in a direction tha will only propel the country to greatness. I am not only talking about the election that jus held in Edo,I am also talking about the overall reform and growth pattern that will enhance our economy and reposition our country. Where he haters lie it or not.......let them just keep ranting(I do not expect anything less) GEJ must keep improving on already established landmark achievements.

Joel.:
Mandalaguy. U don't knw the people of Edo that why. Edo state would ve been worst more than that of kano, borno and other northern state if Gej rigg the poll. The MEND and Edolite has spoken. All the northerners would ve been sent packing fast fast and inec office burned down and breakdown of the country.
what kind of talk is this? What has the northerners got to do with the outcome of elections in your state? If I understood MANDELAGUY,he was commending the electoral process, the president and INEC for a free and fair election, now the noise makers came and he asked if it had been otherwise, what would they have done.

People are still making noise...when military was released in Edo,the said the president and his party were out to rig the election, now they are praising him for creating the environment that has brought back faith in the electoral process, where you now know that your vote counts. Congratulations to the Nigerian president with a difference,Adams Oshiomole,Edo people and Nigerians at large! The results are too numerous, but we can each post one at a time.

ndu_chucks: If there is a plan to recover the stolen subsidy funds, the looters must have been identified to the satisfaction of the authorities. Why then has not a single person been arrested while they go after the looted funds? Who's fooling who?
What nonsense are you talking about? The truth is to be said, there is no place I know where sentiments and emotions proceed law. There is a law that govern the land and it must be adhered to,arrest and prosecution becomes successful after conclusive evidences in which the culprits cannot run or practice FAROUKISM!

Shallow thinking, did you read the article at all? Your answer is there, and to help you more, that report was compromised and now, some marketers are doubting and soon their doubts will be cleared. We are practicing democracy where everything follows a laid down process. If GEJ orders arrests and prosecution without complete report of proper investigations, you will be one of the first to pick up arms against him with your fellow bunch of ne'er do well blind and biased critics.

People, can't you see the connection? Saharareporters,el rufai,Bakare, ayittey ,momodu, etc. these are all frustrated people who would have le us have each if they were in Aso rock. The truth is that the are now peddling everything they can to their gullible followers and as you can see, the s.t.up.id professor has been given the audacity to insult all of us. By calling our president a lunatic,he has called us all lunatics, including the idi...ots that encouraged the insult on our nation and sovereignty. We should tell his president to caution him and for Bakare, he is not a pastor....we know the ones that are pastors. He has compromised his faith, yes,a long time ago!

This govt I rightly believe is desperately pursuing change, power reform, growth and sustainable development in an economically decayed state like Nigeria. We all know that restoring confidence in an eroded system takes time..especially when an economy is been built from he scratch . Policies that may be viewed as harsh would definitely be put in place which will yield growth and balance at he long run. This will soon join the long queue of would be successful projects already embarked on in power and other key sectors of the economy. This is good news!

People will soon quote you out of contest mark. Watch out! Anyway, some of us saw this a long time ago and when we spoke, the haters tried tying everything to GEJ. I once said that there are husbands, wives, elders, brothers, friends, relatives etc to these BOKO H insurgents. They did not fall from the sky. If they want the menace to stop they will help the law enforcement agents.

Politics / Re: GEJ Rejected My Advice To Quiz Buhari - Azazi : Elombah by Captainajama: 7:03pm On Jun 23, 2012
Kobojunkie:

He is the freaking president . . If you truly believe what you have above, then it is more than obvious you believe you have a balless man as president - a man who is likely too concerned about what people will say than getting the job done.

There is a problem that needs to be solved. If questioning(NOT ILLEGALLY ARREST) people including Buhari, IBB, etc. He ought to do just that to get the job done. Excuses such as the one you suggest above only further bolsters the argument by some that there is a clueless man in power and he needs to be gotten rid of.

Many here have been quick to suggest GUTLESSNESS as reason for why Jonathan refused the questioning of people like Buhari. I ask if those people at least analyze their statements to realize that they have no faith in the man they suggest these excuses for. A president does what is right, even when it is unpopular.

Any fear of what the masses will think, or will say validates the claims that critics, such as my person, have been making all along, that he does not have what it takes to be a leader. It is that simple!
Clueless Mother ......er. Do you know what running a govt entail? Here you are ranting. Have you ever heard of surveillance and clandestine operations? GEJ is nt as clueless as you are. He knows that picking up those men on mere suspicion is not a 21st century thing.
Politics / Re: GEJ Rejected My Advice To Quiz Buhari - Azazi : Elombah by Captainajama: 4:46pm On Jun 23, 2012
dedeike: Post sack blues by Azazi ft Bello Haliru. You want Gej to arrest a former Head of state abi? Pls when ever they want to effect such arrest on Buhari, they should tell me so that I will pack my bags and head to my village. It's not as if Gej cannot arrest Buhari but he acted very right to avoid such arrest. Let me tell you the likely consequences of such arrest. 1. Buhari himself will never co operate with the security agencies so the real aim of extracting information from him will be defeated. 2. While he's in detention, the opposition in Nigeria led by Tunde Bakare will mount a groundbreaking Occupy protests in Lagos and so many haters are beckoning for such opportunity to come so that they will rubbish Gej. 3. ACN and CPC will heavily poiticise the issue as a deliberate witchunting of the opposition. 4.The entire North West will explode in protests and thus draw more support for Boko Haram. 5. Buhari will come out from the detention and earn more popularity overnight. 6. Renouned Gej haters on Nairaland will now have more ammunition to attack the president as being clueless and vindictive against his opponent. Abeg I no follow. Now I even know why Azazi was sacked.
I am 100% with you, it's like most people in this country have a one track mind. Do they actually weigh the pros and cons in their actions and decisions? Azazi couldn't have been more wrong. That advice was Ill delivered.
