Joining Nollywood is like 2-0 against Harrisong. She don finally enter Olosho Industry! |
Thundafireseun:Everybody only knows the facade and basic areas designated for public. There are always inside details they will never allow potential adversary to know. It could all be for security purposes. |
If I be multichoice, I will give them 1month free of NTA, AIT and Channels TV since Nigerians don't want to learn by force. Who is still watching DSTV in 2024? |
I'm interested in the origin of the name "Quickpen" more than the game. |
adenigga:I guess the Tenant will be happy now that the man can no longer collect his rent anymore? Tenants should know that rents should be paid in advance of the year and not even a day after the due date. |
Each medical case is different and there can't be a generic answer for your question. Each case would need to be examined for the dentist to be able to give accurate answer to the question. |
"As of press time, no official statement had been released about the incident, as arrangements were still being made to brief the family". Even tribune don't know the ethics of good journalism. Arrangement was still being made to brief the family, yet the news paper had broadcast the sad incident to the world. How do they expect the family of the deceased to feel about hearing the sad news from a social media first before the force headquarter? |
Honestly, this is one reason why it hard me to vote for any politician. We are just voting them to go and make money for themselves. |
xin5:It is well. On Saturday, I followed some group of Landlord in my Estate on their revenue drive to collect Estate security fee. Electricity supply of houses owing were disconnected unless the person pays part or all he's owing the Estate. We got to a particular house. Knocked and a woman came out. The woman had lost her husband and things are really quite tough for her. Immediately she came out and saw the Estate officials and a ladder resting on the pole, she just simply succumbed saying, "Abeg cut the light ooo, person never chop since morning, you are asking for Estate security fee" Omo, that statement just dey play in my head since Saturday afternoon. |
I hope he will not be a flop like Eden Hazard! |
Wizpa:But you know fcukk boys just want to fcukk because they have the money. They don't have any plans for the girl. So, yes I'm in support of chopping fcukk boys money anyday, anytime. Too much fcukk boys in the society. |
ufotunang:It's better to chop Bleep boys money. If it's me that's what I would do also. I will collect his money and still not go. |
I guess she did the right thing! |
Have you been buying fuel in other stations to that same level in your tank? Also you must understand that most cars fuel tank construction are not linearly gauged. Unless you are comparing the consumption from the same level, it may be erroneous to judge from your part. |
TUTU147:What's the percentage of people that started a meaningful life from the total number of people that are betting? Ask any of the bet company to open up their books and you will see that they don't records up to 5% winners. That 95% lost is their own gains and taxes for the government. |
OriOko88:Nigerian youths don't have that gumption. They are far below par with their contemporaries around the world when it comes to successful and result oriented protest. If you doubt me, watch as the nation wide strike announced by Labour will be silenced tmrw or in a matter of days and nothing will be achieved simply because the youth have lost direction and focus. They've been so oppressed by the elites and the political class that their only focus is only sportybet and to be shouting Chelsea, Barca and Madrid up and down. |
People that bet don't have sense. Where are they expecting the money they will win to come from? And all the lost goes to the bet company and government everytime. May God heal our youth from the spirit of MMM. Expecting quick and phantom money is a disease. |
endy69:I think you're very correct. The OP idea behind the posting is to subtly incite violence. There's nobody that doesn't know we are a polarized nation religion-wise. The OP is deliberate and intentional. Nairaland should make people to swear oath before posting religious stuffs like they make us do every Fridays. |
jesusjnr2020:You've been deceived long enough. Don't be deceived anymore. Any God in that circumstances (like that picture) will drown if you don't get in the water to save him. What you see them saving is the image that their God represent. Their real God, like every other Gods is a spirit. If a cchurchh, a mmosqkue, or a sshrinne is burnt, they simply can be rebuilt by another one or moved to another location because the spirit of the God's isn't burnt. Humans control the Gods not the other way round. Ye are Gods. |
samogo1:SMHFU! Congratulations on your achievement. |
It could be anything. He could also have been killed elsewhere and thrown around the transformer. |
Abi make we give them Fela headless statue? |
Golan007:Do I care if he's or he's not? Abeg shift or rest! |
Golan007:Do we have standards in Nigeria? Nigeria that woke up one morning and change her National anthem. Don't be surprised, the name Nigeria may be changed even tmrw. I said Prisoners, not felons. Not all felons cases get prison terms. Trump's case may be issued a sentencing of paying fines. Which one do you think will hurt more? Jail sentencing or paying fines? And that's why I said it's all "time-politics". You can read more on my write-ups on this thread. |
Golan007:Do you know how many Nigerian Presidents are prisoners? |
Skydivine:That's where the "time politics" comes in. General election is in November. The trump camp would do anything to prolong the appeal, while the Biden's camp would want a speedy retrial. Time politics is utilized almost everywhere. We see it almost everytime in Nigeria. |
ItooWorWor:I agree with you absolutely. However, the subtle politics of it is in the "timing". Sentencing was cleverly put 4 days to Republican convention giving the Democrat approximately a month and a half to observe if the present conviction will hurt the current and ever rising poll figure of Trump. If it doesn't hurt and Trump's poll figures continue to rise, then they have a golden chance to do a greater hurt with the sentencing. Just like a game of cards, Jockers are reserved for when it's absolute needed. The distance timing for the sentencing is the issue here and not the actual conviction. If a Jail sentencing is giving on the 11th of July, esp. longer jail sentence, the Republican party may not ratify Trump as the substantive candidate at their convention on the 15th July. Its a dilemma position to be for the Republicans. |
ItooWorWor:That's why I said it's all politically calculated. They have about a month and half to observe. If they see he's gaining ground despite the conviction, they could add jail sentencing to bottle it up. |
If he didn't appeal and he gets a longer jail sentencing in July 11, he may not be ratified at the Republican convention that comes up on July 15. He's still a presumptive candidate until the convention. Everything is political calculation. They purposely announce a sentencing date that comes before the Republican convention with the expectation that the Republican party would field another candidate. It is expected that an appeal will follow even up to the Supreme court which will most likely be prolonged beyond the general election in November. |
Justiceganduje:Only Nigerians. |
You should have compare apple for apple next time. That fish alone could make the other plate extremely small you know. |
adebayo201:Truth is, both National anthems and the pledge can solve all the problems in our country if only we abide by the tenets in the lyrics. I see what the government is trying to do here. It will take more than playing and tweaking the psychology of Nigerians to get there. |
