One big problem with Arab countries that Nigeria does not make, buying a system is not buying a capability. You buy an air defense system, you train your men for all eventuality, you develop threat scenarios for what you probably have not thought of before , you do exercises , you adapt based on what you observed during exercises and then you have capability.

IMO it should be scrapped and decentralized into specific units with a new doctrine and specific functions. The Coin guys are better off and can stay.
Aside those attached to CTU, SPU and other units which I don't know, the rest are just MOPOLS with no main specific functions. This is one reason why its hard to have them maintain discipline.
