I went to the headquarters of a popular church in Abuja for a Thanksgiving Service. After the church service, there was a reception where there was an assorted alcohol on the list.

To my surprise, some of the clerics were served alcoholic drinks and they gladly indulged.

I am a born-again Christian because of my staunch faith in Christ Jesus and I also drink alcohol moderately. I don't believe I am morally wrong.

A born again should abstain from alcoholic drinks.

Don't indulge yourself in such things.

Imagine you went to preach to someone, and the next day the person sees you with a glass of stout, how will he feel.

Peace of mind is very crucial in marriage. The best people that can tell you this are those that have none of it in their marriage. When a man leaves home and decided not to return back home to his wife then you'll realize what peace of mind is in the home.

The first 3.5 years (out of Daniel's 70th week= 7 years), it will be the intensification of the signs of the times we already have in full effect now (war, faminie, inflation, extreme weather distrubances/disasters, hate crimes, immorality, sexual pervesions and general godlessness).

Yeshua returns at end of Great Tribulation; the dead will rise and with those who survived the mark of beast will be caught up in air with Yeshua. Then the wrath is poured out towards the inhabitants of the earth remaining. The great Armageddon and chaining of Satan and his legions.

Afterwards, come the reign of Yeshua for 1000 years in Newly built 4th Temple (Ezekiel's Temple). Those who survived the wrath of YAH and believers all will worship Yeshua and abide by HIS rules; as in HE is the KING/PRESIDENT of all nations of the earth.

After millenial reign, Satan let loose to deceive nations for one more time, then he is utterly defeated and thrown into hellfire permanently for eternity. Great throne Judgement for unbelievers occur and those whose names not found in book of life are sentenced to hell fire for eternity.

Then, a new heaven and new earth decends from heaven where there is no more pain, sorrow, death, wars...no more the sun/stars/moon for YAH is the light. And, you get the rest.......

What I wrote up there are all in the bible, read thru Daniel 7-12, Matthew 24, Revelation 6-22, Ezekiel 40-48.

My enlightenment to the op is that we are not yet in the great tribulation period, rather we are in the perilous times, where the earth is having birth pangs and these things will continue till what is hidden in the secret of the Spirit is unfolded.

Don't rush to read the scripture, some of the things written from one verse to the next, will take years interval before they happen.

Ya, I've been keeping my cool for some time now, and have discussed it with some persons before now,but they keep telling me to calm down eventhough they are also members of the same church and see what I'm talking about. I've already penned down my resignation letter, I was thinking I should hold on and share it with a lager house like this. I would've gone to talk it with him, but I have this impression about him twisting private discussions to suit his narrative.

My advice is that you should talk with him and tell him how you feel whenever he does that, how its becoming too much and offensive to you. Don't just resign and leave. Tell him that, if he continues, tell him again, and if he still persists then drop your resignation letter.

Depression is not domiciled in some races, country, tribe or continent but rather it's a global thing. Depression does not know the rich nor the poor, it does not know the beautiful nor the ugly rather it overwhelmes those who can't resist it's forces.

The forces( reasons ) of depression varies from one person to another. However, it can be summarized that forces of depression come when we either being added to or subtracted from.

To some depression set in when they are being added to with something e.g when one engages in new bad habits that he or she is not proud of. The new negative habit is the burden of depression ( helplessness ) upon his life. On the other side, some experience depression ( helplessness ) when something is being subtracted from them. Take for example, when some lose their loved ones they come depressed ( helpless or hopeless ).

WHAT TO DO WHEN DEPRESSED ( HELPLESS OR HOPELESS ) ?

* Genuinely Confess and repent of your sin and follow God as at the time of depression. This Will help draw God to your side to help you incase it came as a result of sin.

* Begin to proclaim the good promises of God to you from his words. Focus on these good promises of God for you.WHY?

As humans we have a lot of things to keep up with, and these includes;

Keeping up with family
Keeping up with friends
Keeping up with challenges
Keeping up with responsibilities
Keeping up with your faith in God
Keeping up with the society and it's trends
Keeping up with spouses (girlfriend, boyfriend or whatever)
Keeping up with your businesses
Keeping up with your finances
Keeping up with your health (physical and mental health)

All these and others are what we face as men on earth, though not many people are doing so well in all these things we are to keep up with, for instance, some have forsaken their family, and friends too, some have neglected their responsibilities, some don't even watch over their health, they eat whatever comes their way and do "high end" drugs that damage their systems gradually and they kept at it, some don't have faith anymore, they've taken God out of the equation, some don't bother about their finances, they have a steady cash cow they think will be till Christ come, taking up new challenges could help to strengthen and improve one's capacity but not many people wants that.

The society seems vast, staying sane is important yet we have lot of task on our table, let me even ask the parents among us, hope you keep up with your kids regularly? This is so very important, don't keep your two eyes off them, there's something closer to you that's about to lead them in the way you won't like.

Living on earth is graceful and pleasant, though it has its challenges and hurdles to keep up with, which we do and we'll keep doing in order to live right and acceptable among those we love and those that loved us, even everyone around us. Till I come your way again, keep keeping up with Life
