My friend (a computer scientist) failed woefully in school. He had extras and lots of carry- over, but one thing i respect him for is that he is very intelligent and smart. Nobody could give an explanation as to his failure. When he talks, we listen. Today he is richer than all of us, enjoying his hard work. He works in a big company now, a computer guru. He can't write much but he can solve problems.

To lie down on the floor in fear is far different from bowing down in awe or reverence.

Suicide? No. But there were lots of times i felt like running away. Times i prayed someone would wake me up and tell it was all a dream. Times i wondered if things would ever be normal again. Despite all these, i never came close to suicide. I couldn't take the life i didn't give.

Just work hard and do your best. A good GP foundation (4 point or thereabout) is a solid step, but if you weren't able to attain it, NEVER think it's unattainable. Just do your best and let God do the rest. Never settle for less.

Well, i agree with Doctor Mynd_44. Though most of these parents have their reasons for objection. However, i think dialogue and good communication can help settle the issue.
