I agree with you that most Bible stories are fictional but from the doctrines I have gathered so far on the person of Jesus, He is a gnostic preacher. He understood inner body engineering(soul) in way that he could only present it allegorically. Gnostic teachings deals on the soul and spirit. The spirit, soul, the unseen controls the physical. Not in diabolical, demonic sense but technically. Example is, if you don’t or have never watched porn or masturbate, your brain will have no knowledge of it and can not think of it as an escape to sexual urge.
