Ambode needs to get proactive in adverting the traffic menance caused by these wreckless trucks.
Same agony is being experienced in Ikorodu, especially from palmgroove to fadeyi bus stop.
Again, Lagos state is now the dirtiest city in Africa. The stench of refuse and sewage can kill houseflies let alone human beings. My brother, the suffering is just too much in Lagos state. So sad and pathetic |

This issue of tankers and trailers parking illegally anywhere in Lagos calls for major intervention.
The issue being experienced in apapa is just part of it as we are now suffering the same fate in residential areas in Lagos.
Right now along Amuwo odofin down to Okota, trailers are just parked on the roads and abandoned there causing major traffic and gridlock.
Most excuse given are that it is federal government road but this one is Lagos state government road and nothing is being done to secure the lives of people on that road.
See the traffic caused on the road while going to work some days ago forcing people to take one way.
Majority of these trailers are owned by sifax and other terminals which have suddenly sprung up in residential area. This is total wrong as Lagos state government does not care about the lives of people in the state by allowing this impunity to continue.
After going through this, you will now face another one in mile 2 and then apapa.
We appeal to the state government and local government to come to our aid as the suffering in Lagos state is becoming too much

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How I Failed An Interview With One Of The Leading Brewery In Nigeria by careercrew1: 8:10am On Nov 24, 2017 |
pp802: I have a job though, but people always look for better opportunies and higher pay.
This brewery company is PLC. Its listed on the NSE. Its multinational.
I had submitted my CV a long time ago. Can't even remember when I submitted the CV. So I got an sms and a mail for a test.
Before now, I use to have different CV's for different job vacancies. The CV's are actually based on the job title. So I had forgotten the CV I sent, even when I saw the test invite and the job title.
I checked all my sent mails, but I couldn't find the mail I sent.
So I went to the test hall. Very tough questions I must say......especially the maths. After the test, we shared numbers. The test finished around 12 noon. I went back to work.
Around 5pm the same day, I got an sms again for an interview, the next day......obviously I passed the test. So I called one of the guys we shared numbers and he told me he was yet to get the sms. Early morning the next day, he called me and informed me that he eventually got the sms.
On the day of the interview, we were very few. A lot of the guys we shared numbers did not pass the test. During the interview, I noticed that some lasted for a very long time and about 1 or 2 were short. Even the guy I called, his own session also lasted for long.
Then I was called in. They already have the CV's. They just project on the wall and ask questions. They were 3 of them.
They asked me to introduce my self. When I started the introduction, they were kinda surprised and in the middle of my introduction, they stopped me and showed me the CV I submitted on the wall. It was one of my driving experience CV, with just an OND, and driving experiences only. No professional job experience. No Bsc, No masters.
I apologized and I told them that I have a more updated CV, where I have all the above mentioned. They asked me for the soft copy. low and behold, I was not with my updated CV. I told them I have it on my phone and I could go out and get it in a minute. They said there was no need and I should just continue.
I saw the countenance on their faces. It was as if they lost interest in the session. They didn't even ask me much question. Infact my session was actually the shortest. I knew that I had messed up. I failed woefully. I even lost interest myself, when I saw their reactions. One of the interviewer had to stand up during the session.
Today, the guy I called the day I got the sms, called me this evening when I was in the office, that he was called this afternoon and they are starting training on monday next week.
I felt so sad and downcasted. I was just not happy with myself, cos I was actually the cause. How on earth will I go for an interview without my CV? How on the earth did the mail disappear from my sent mail? How would I go for an interview without being fully prepared?
I messed up big time!
Learn from my mistake guys.
Its part of life though!
Cheers. This is why I always advice people not to waste their time on entertainment blogs and follow career blogs for them to have a better career and better life. I have raised a thread here on Nairaland about the importance to always update your CV even when employed. Investment › MMM Nigeria End Of Year Party By Chuddy Ugorji, Moves With Bodyguards (Photos) by careercrew1(op): 2:10pm On Dec 21, 2016 |
MMM Nigeria No1 guider Chuddy was spotted holding a very lavish end of year party thanks giving service at a very popular Hotel in Ikeja. Chuddy is the No1 guider for the popular ponzi scheme called MMM which was founded by Mavrodi. Recently, the ponzi scheme crashed and all monies realized was frozen leaving only top guiders as major beneficiaries of the scheme. Also during the event held in Ikeja, the popular No1 guider is spotted moving about with hefty body guards due to the fear of being attacked from frustrated Nigerians who lost billions of Naira in the ponzi scheme. Other top guiders were seen at the event and spotted leaving with their brand new cars and suvs. See pictures below of the lavish event: http://www.careercrewblog.com/2016/12/mmm-nigeria-no1-guider-holds-lavish-end.html

switch47: Appeal to careercrew1 from Sergey Mavrodi
Dear blogger,
Please stop using MMM to gain cheap popularity. Leave us alone and let us work without interference. I’m just astonished by your irresponsibility and cynical attitude. Interests of millions of people, your fellow citizens are at stake. Don’t you have any sympathy for them? Why are you fueling hysteria around MMM and provoking a panic? Why are you doing this so diligently and persistently, what is your purpose?
In fact, absolutely all your provocative and worthless articles and “analyses” (I said “worthless” because you do not have any real information about what happens in the System, and might have never had; you simply invent everything, fabricate it) are merely negative: “MMM has collapsed!!!.. MMM will not be working in January!!!..” etc. Are you intentionally presenting all of it in such a manner and whipping up tension by any means possible in order to increase the ratings of your publications and attract attention to them? Don’t you care about people at all?
So, nothing has collapsed, and MMM will safely resume its work in January, as announced. Suspension of work for holidays is a usual thing, merely working moment, no more than that. It would have remained a normal, just a part of the usual routine, and might have gone almost unnoticed if it were not for your totally cynical and irresponsible attempts to advertise yourself, create a scandal out of nowhere, and make the most of this news topic in any possible way.
Again, leave MMM alone and let us work. Nothing has collapsed, and MMM will perfectly resume its work in January. We Can Change the World!
Sergey Mavrodi My brother, how many times will you mention me? |

4 CBN, SEC, banks and the media:We are all aware that the CBN and several banks were against the MMM scheme because it actually poses a major threat to their existence. Imagine an individual getting a whopping 30% on his finance monthly without lifting a finger. Honestly, the offer is tempting and a lot of people were pulling their monies from the banks. This in turn will affect the banks from making huge returns of customer’s money. Several people pulled out their funds majorly because the Nigerian banks offered almost nothing in terms of returns or interest for leaving your money in their bank for several months. A friend complained to me that after leaving several hundreds of thousands of naira in a Nigeria Bank, all he got at the end of each month was deductions for service charge. This is what propelled Nigerians to participate in the Ponzi scheme offer. Now threatened by MMM Nigeria, the CBN, SEC and some banks had to use the media to kick against the scheme. Advert telling people not to participate in the scheme was seen in newspapers, social media and even on radio/TV. The actions and steps taken by the CBN and banks really shook the MMM Nigeria community to the extent that a letter was written on 11th of December 17, 2016 which was addressed to the Federal government, CBN and banks. The next day, MMM Nigeria crashed. http://www.careercrewblog.com/2016/12/see-people-that-crashed-mmm-nigeria.html

3 Participants that upload fake proof of payment:
If you really took part in MMM Nigeria, you will know that fake proof of payment was so rampant, many participants were getting frustrated and no longer interested. Uploading fake POP is another form of scamming your fellow participant and this is how it works; the scammer uploads a fake POP without providing help or paying money to your bank account and expects you to confirm payment. If you don’t check your account balance regularly, you will confirm receiving payment without a single naira entering your account. This was the initial scope of the fake POP uploads. However, others took the fake POP upload to another level in order to extend the hours to make payment while putting the receiver in frustration and anguish. Such participant with that kind of experience will not want to participant in the scheme any more. One question I always ask participants of this Ponzi scheme is why offer to provide help when you don’t have the cash to do so? I am yet to get a valid answer.
