Good work! But u can do more, SA have scaled up their per day testing capacity to more than 35,000. By activating private sector testing in labs n hospitals. The only way we can flatten the curve like SA n Ghana have done , and contain the virus like south Korea and China did, is by massive testing campaign and aggressive contact tracing. Both of these are not very visible in d Nigerian govt COVID-19 efforts so far. South Africa have tested over 90,000 with 2,506 confirmed cases ( about 2%). While Ghana have tested over 40,000 with 606 cases ( about 1%). But Nigeria have only tested 7,000 with about 400 cases ( that's 5%) We really need to test more and I'm very optimistic that we can n will overcome 4 Likes |

[quote author=donphilopus post=88495208]See those guys calling Buhari names because his State is the highest beneficiary. Y'all should be glad he's doing this. Unlike that Otuoke man who promised to only start developing his State and other neighbouring States during his second term. Besides, no one can be more nepotistic than someone who chose to site a federal university in his village instead of his state capital. [/quote Something is definitely wrong somewhere. Aldebaran: Bross don't deceive ur selfooo! The only reason we have low positive numbers is our low testing numbers. If u read the write up well, you'll notice that south Korea is only able to contain thier's by mass testing campaign and aggressive contact tracing. Both of these are none existing in d Nigerian govt COVID-19 efforts. South Africa have tested over 90,000 with 2,506 confirmed cases ( about 2%). While Ghana have tested over 40,000 with 606 cases ( about 1%). But Nigeria have only tested 6,000 with 373cases ( that's a whopping 5%). Don't deceive urself this our govt is a push and start one. They can't do nothing. Ramaphosa literally addresses SA everyday. Akufo Ado started crying the other day when he passionately addressed Ghanaians about Covid n pleaded with them to stay home. And keeps addressing Ghana like every 3days, answering questions randomly from reporters n getting feedback from d fields to his Covid taskforce Meanwhile ur Bubu have only read 3 speach written for him to read. Didn't u read today that Covid have killed 11 in Nigeria since inception, meanwhile police n soldiers have killed 18 persons in d name of enforcing lockdown in this country? Forget joor na God hand we de, our Govt na copy n paste with absolutely no Idea n initiative. Ordinary to share money n palliatives, na #100b scandal follow join |

festacman: Guy it's never wise to attack a problem from the symptoms and not the roots. The issue here is not the actions of the chief of staff, but that someone like him is our chief of staff should be the concern. The nepotism, corruption and abuse of powers that brought these men to power is my pain really. This man is actually our defacto president ahead great minds like Osibanjo n d likes. Isn't worrying? U need to ask how come Buhari is our president in 21st century? Compare him with other presidents ( even in Africa sef) first. Someone that can't even pronounce COVID-19, something that children in Nigeria are already giving presentations both on and offline. Get me well, I'm not saying Buhari is an illegal or an impostor president. He's duly elected president of Nigeria. But the fact that we have a system that produces Buhari and Atiku likes as president in 21st century should call for worry n questions. This is the only way nations n societies evolve n progress. A man cannot give what he doesn't have. Buhari has lots of personal qualities oo, but at best he should be a regional or religious leader. But definitely not a president of multi- cultural n religious nation as ours. He doesn't have the capacity to deliver as a leader especially at this his age. He really didn't have any business contesting for this second term. You will definitely understand me better if ever the pandemic escalates, and you see that this nation is on autopilot and no one really is in charge. So, Abba kyari isn't the problem, but the man that appointed and kept him there, with all the scandals n incompetence, is the problem really. I strongly believe that Nigeria needs a leader with the capacity of Obasanjo, sincerity of Yaradua and the contentment of Buhari all combined together. |
