2 days ago you read that controversial Lagos pastor Sign Fireman had been arrested by Lagos police over the alleged ritual murder of a 12 year old girl, Bose Ogoja, after the girl's killer, 18 year old Ikechukwu claimed he killed her following instructions from Pastor Sign Fireman. Well, the boy's mother has spoken out and says her son has never met the founder and Head Pastor of Perfect Christian Mission. Mrs Esther Egbo told reporters yesterday that they were members of the Badagry branch of Fireman's church and in the two years they've been in the church, they have never set eyes on the man. She said her son had been arrested four different times by the police for attempted rape and had even been charged to court and was only released on December 10, 2013. Mrs Egbo said: "My son has been under a spell since 2009 when he was cursed by one of my neighbours in Badagry. Sometimes, he suddenly sees young girls, grabs them and starts trying to molest them. He only behaves like that in the afternoon and the whole neighborhood knows. In 2011, he was arrested after touching a 15- year-old girl inappropriately. Later, he was arrested for attempting to rape a 17-year-old girl. Most times, it is residents that call to tell me that my son has been detained at the Badagry Police Station when I am looking for him. “In November, he did it again and was arraigned before a Badagry Magistrates Court for attempted rape and remanded in Badagry Prison for 19 days. He was released on December 10 after he was acquitted. It was three weeks later that he killed the little girl. I asked him what happened that day and he said he was eating at one woman's shop and saw the woman's daughter pass. He stood up and followed the girl and dragged her into an uncompleted building where he killed her. He was caught as he attempted to run. He said something came over him. “We even started a deliverance programme for him at the church and he never even met Pastor Fireman. After his interview with journalists, I asked my son why he lied against the pastor and he said it was because he was threatened .” The victim’s mother said although they attended Fireman’s church, they never met with him because as the General Overseer of the church, it was not always easy for members to see him at random. She said her son did not even have Fireman’s telephone number and wondered where the supposed meeting he had with her son took place. An aide to the pastor described the allegations against Fireman as ridiculous, adding that Fireman could not have stooped so low as to encourage a teenager to commit murder. “I have spoken to the boy (Ikechukwu) and he told me that he was coerced into saying what he said to the press. Pastor Fireman is a very rich man. What sort of money ritual would he want to do? His father owns a gold factory in Russia while his mother is a professor at ABSU. This is a man that has distinguished himself. Ikechukwu killed Bose in the Badagry area of Lagos State. When he was paraded before journalists at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, he said he killed the girl in an uncompleted building following instructions from pastor Sign Fireman. Ikechukwu said, “I attend Perfect Christian Mission Headquarters around Ketu Street, Aguda, but I live with my parents in Badagry. I just finished secondary school and I have been very broke. So, I approached the pastor, Sign Fireman, for money, but he told me that I should strangulate a little girl. He explained that while strangulating the girl, she would pass out faeces in the throes of death. The pastor said I should obtain the faeces and bring it to him. He said if I could do this, he would give me N100, 000.” The suspect’s mother says the boy later confessed to her that nothing of such happened and that the 12 year old only passed feces due to the rape and strangulation. She said the incident had nothing to do with ritual but a case of rape that led to murder. Meanwhile, it was learnt that many church members had elected to give the pastor free legal service. Fireman’s lawyer, Peter Oboyi, said the police had no evidence against the pastor adding that his client’s home had even been searched on Wednesday and no evidence was found. He said, “Pastor Fireman has over 100,000 members worldwide and does not even know one tenth of them let alone a small boy in the Badagry branch of the church. The boy has even confessed to the police that it wasn’t the pastor that sent him to the dastardly act. The allegations are frivolous and based on hearsay. If you want to send someone to kill another person, you will send someone that you trust, someone that wouldn’t give your name up easily. How could pastor have done such?” SOURCE: http://lindaikeji..com/2014/01/my-son-lied-against-pastor-fireman.html?m=1 |

21-time Grammy award winner Kanye West received only two Grammy nominations this year and he's pretty upset over it. At a concert this week, Kanye let loose on the Recording Academy, ranting 'Yeezus' is the top one or two album on every single list. But only gets two nominations from the Grammys. What are they trying to say? Do they think that I wouldn't notice? Do they think that, someway, I don't have the power to completely diminish all of their credibility at this moment?" "And people come to me and congratulate me on those two nominations. f**k those nominations!" SOURCE: http://lindaikeji..com/2013/12/king-kanye-upset-over-receiving-only.html?m=1 |
Premium Times claims to have obtained an 18-page letter written by an angry and frustrated former president Olusegun Obasanjo to president Jonathan, accusing the current president of 'ineptitude and of taking actions calculated at destroying Nigeria.' “Nigeria is bleeding and the hemorrhage must be stopped,” Mr. Obasanjo said in the 18-page letter titled “Before it is too late” dated December 2, 2013 In the letter Obasanjo said President Jonathan has 'failed to deliver on his promises to Nigerians, stem corruption, promote national unity and strengthen national security.' You can download and read the full letter by following the link at the end of this pos or continue to read the full exclusive report by Premium Times... From Premium Times He said in the letter titled that rather than take steps to advance Nigeria’s interest and up the standards of living of Nigerians, Mr. Jonathan had betrayed God and the Nigerian people that brought him to power, and has been pursuing selfish personal and political interests based on advice he receives from “self-centred aides”. In the detailed letter, dripping of anger , frustration and what appears a genuine concern to rescue a nation on the brink, Mr. Obasanjo lamented that Mr. Jonathan had become terribly divisive and clannish, destroying his own party, polarizing the country along regional and religious lines and ridiculing Nigeria in the comity of nations. Without mincing words, Mr. Obasanjo blamed Mr. Jonathan for the crises tearing the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, apart. He said apart from using party chairman Bamanga Tukur to cause multiple crises and divide the ranks of the party, the president’s failure to keep a promise he made not to seek a second term is also generating tension within the ruling party. “It would be unfair to continue to level full blames on the Chairman (Tukur) for all that goes wrong with the party,” Mr. Obasanjo said. “The chairman is playing the tune dictated by the paymaster (Jonathan). But the paymaster is acting for a definitive purpose for which deceit and deception seem to be the major ingredients. “Up till two months ago, Mr. President, you told me that you have not told anybody that you would contest in 2015. I quickly pointed out to you that the signs and the measures on the ground do not tally with your statement. You said the same to one other person who shared his observation with me. And only a fool would believe that statement you made to me judging by what is going on. I must say it is not ingenious. You may wish to pursue a more credible and more honorable path.” The former President said Mr. Jonathan told him before the 2011 election he would not seek a second term, and made the same promise to governors, party stakeholders and Nigerians. The president’s refusal to keep that promise cast him as a man without honour, Mr. Obasanjo said. Saying it would be “fatally morally flawed” for Mr. Jonathan to contest in 2015, Mr. Obasanjo added, “As a leader, two things you must cherish and hold dear among others are trust and honour both of which are important ingredients of character. I will want to see anyone in the Office of the Presidency of Nigeria as a man or woman who can be trusted, a person of honour in his words and character.” Mr. Obasanjo also accused Mr. Jonathan of anti-party conducts – supporting opposition parties’ candidates in governorship elections in Lagos, Ondo, Edo and Anambra states at the detriment of PDP’s own candidates –, and of pitting party members against one another. Saying the President had failed to address the underlying causes of the Boko Haram menace, Mr. Obasanjo urged Mr. Jonathan to adopt a carrot and stick approach in dealing with the insurgency explaining that “conventional military actions based on standard phases of military operations alone will not permanently and effectively deal with the issue of Boko Haram”. Mr. Obasanjo also tackled Mr. Jonathan for allegedly being clannish. “For you to allow yourself to be “possessed”, so to say, to the exclusion of most of the rest of Nigerians as an “Ijaw man” is a mistake that should never have been allowed to happen. Yes, you have to be born in one part of Nigeria to be Nigerian if not naturalized but the Nigerian President must be above ethnic factionalism. And those who prop you up as of, and for ‘Ijaw nation’ are not your friends genuinely, not friends of Nigeria nor friends of ‘Ijaw nation’ they tout about. “To allow or tacitly encourage people of ‘Ijaw nation’ to throw insults on other Nigerians from other parts of the country and threaten fire and brimstone to protect your interest as an Ijaw man is myopic and your not openly quieting them is even more unfortunate. Two Ijaw men, ex-militant Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, and a former federal commissioner for information, Edwin Clark, who carries himself around as the political godfather of the president, are known to talk down on people opposed to the president. Mr. Obasanjo also accused Mr. Jonathan of placing over 1000 Nigerians on political watch list and “training snipers and other armed personnel secretly and clandestinely acquiring weapons to match for political purposes like Abacha and training them where Abacha trained his killers”. He wondered why the Presidency was providing assistance for a murderer to evade justice. “Presidential assistance for a murderer to evade justice and presidential delegation to welcome him home can only be in bad taste generally but particularly to the family of his victim,” Mr. Obasanjo said. “Assisting criminals to evade justice cannot be part of the job of the presidency. Or, as it is viwed in some quarters, is he being recruited to do for you what he had done for Abacha in the past? Hopefully, he should have learned his lesson. Let us continue to watch.” Mr. Obasanjo did not mention the name of the murderer he accused the President of protecting but he seems to be referring to Hamza Al-Mustapha, a former security aide to late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, who is facing trial for allegedly masterminding the killing of Kudirat Abiola, the wife of Moshood Abiola, the winner of the annulled 1993 presidential election. Mr. Al-Mustapha was freed by the appeal court in July but the Lagos state government has since appealed the judgment at the Supreme Court. The former President also called on the National Assembly to rise up and take decisive action over the recent allegation in the country that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation failed to remit billions of dollars in proceeds of crude oil sales to the federation account. “This allegation will not fly away by non-action, cover- up, denial or bribing possible investigators,” Mr. Obasanjo told the President. “Please deal with this allegation transparently and let the truth be known. “The dramatis personae in this allegation and who they are working for will one day be public knowledge. Those who know are watching if the National Assembly will not be accomplice in the heinous crime and naked grand corruption. May God grant you the grace for at least one effective corrective action against high corruption which seems to stink all around you in your government.” Mr. Obasanjo said he wrote the letter in the national interest, saying nothing, at this stage of his life, would prevent him from standing up for whatever he considers to be in the best interest of Nigeria, Africa and the world. He said he was ready for whatever backlash his letter would provoke from the presidency. “Knowing what happens around you most of which you know of and condone or deny, this letter will proke cacophony from hired and unhired attackers but I will maintain my serenity because by this letter, I have done my duty to you as I have always done, to your government, to the party, PDP, and to our country, Nigeria…,” Mr. Obasanjo said. “I have passed the stage of being flattered, intimidated, threatened, frightened, induced or bought… Death is the end of all human beings and may it come when God wills it to come Source: www.premiumtimesng.com/docs_download/OBJ-Letter.pdf?utm_source=hootsuite&utm_campaign=hootsuite |
South American country Uruguay is set to become the first country in the world to allow its citizens to grow, sell, buy and smoke marijuana. The country's Senate began its final debate on the issue today Tuesday Dec. 10th and claim they want to legalize it in a bid to take the business from criminals. If this bill, which has the support of majority of the House and the president of the country, is passed, Uruguay will be the first country to legalize a trade that is illegal everywhere else in the world. After the trade is made legal, Uruguay will then draft regulations imposing state control over the cultivation and distribution of marijuana. Anyone who wants to go into the business would have to be licensed and registered, with government monitors keeping tabs to enforce limits, such as the 40 grams a month that any adult will be able to buy at pharmacies for any reason. |

Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko has promised that the state government would take up responsibilities of the families of the victims of the ill-fated Associated Airlines plane that crashed in Lagos on October 3, 2013 while conveying the remains of former governor, Olusegun Agagu to Akure for final burial rites. Mimiko made the promise during a condolence visit to the home of one of the officials of the government who died in the crash, Olayiwola Daji alongside his wife, Olukemi and members of the state executive council. Governor Mimiko who was moved to tears at the home of Daji in Oda road, a Akure metropolis, gazed at the picture of late Layi Daji on the wall, called his name thrice and held the deceased’s 2 year- old son , Marverlous , while at the same time consoling the deceased’s wife, Abiodun. The late Daji, until his death in the ill-fated aircraft was a protocol officer attached to Government House, Alagbaka. He was survived by his wife, Abidun, two daughters, Precious (13), Favour (11) and a two year-old-boy, Marvellous. The governor promised that government would take over the funding of the education of the children to university level, stressing that he would ensure that the family of late Daji do not lack anything. Also, the late Agagu family, led by Prof. A.A Agagu was at the home of Daji to register their condolence. In the condolence register opened in the family house, Prof. Agagu wrote; “the loss of this gem is a great blow on the state, a hard-working and perfect gentleman who was cut down at the prime of his life. The Almighty God, restorer, the comforter will uphold the family.” The Bishop of the home church of the Dajis, Bishop of Diocese of Idoani (Anglican Communion), Rt.Rev. E.B Dahunsi who led a delegation from Idoani, hometown of Layi Daji wrote in his own comment “No doubt, we have lost a gem. Your life was short but very purposeful. Good night, we shall surely miss you.” Other condolences read; “You lived an exemplary life, unassuming, amiable, dedicated and always wearing a smile even at the height of provocation at your duty post. You loved your job and you were always enthusiastic -Williams Olufunmi” and ” Layi, I didn’t know it will be so soon like this. It was a shocking news to me because I saw you on Wednesday at a reception in Governor’s Office when you smiled and greeted me, not knowing that was the last greeting, but God knows everything. He giveth and taketh. Goodbye. Till we meet to part no more- Olu Isola”. The immediate younger brother to the deceased, Niyi Daji who spoke on behalf of the family urged the state government never to abandon the wife and children left behind by his brother. He noted that government should also extended the gesture to the nonagenarian father of the crash victim, Pa. Adejoro Daji who is living at the mercy of his late son. Daji thanked Governor Mimiko for the visit to the family and the promise to take over the education of the children, stressing that his brother died in active service. Investigators of the Joint Task Force (JTF) who have been probing the video of the leader of the dreaded Islamic militant sect, Boko Haram, Mallam Abubakar Shekau have rubbished a supposed video of the militant leader, which indicated he was still alive. A report put together by the team of investigators on behalf of the security agencies said that the investigators have been able to fault the video in “a number of ways.” Though the real location of the militant leader is yet to be ascertained by the security forces, there was a strong belief in the forces that Shekau was not alive. Analysis of the last video said to have been made available to authorities indicated that Shekau was cloned. Sources in the know quoted the report as submitting that Shekau in previous video appearances would start with a recitation of a full verse of the Holy Quran that sometimes could last up to five minutes. The report indicated that the stand-in Shekau in the video never observed that tradition. Reports also indicated that in previous occasions, Shekau’s speech was never interrupted by hailing from the background and that the last video had such features. Investigations by the JTF was also said to have identified that the movement on the lips of the man presented as Shekau in the video did not synchronise with the words he pronounced, an indication according to the report of “a recorded message inefficiently manipulated to sustain a non-existent continuum in leadership.” The report according to the sources also indicated that following the failure of the alleged attempt to mimic Shekau’s voice in the opening part of the video, alleged stand-in Shekau reverted to his real voice. “The intonation was different as well as the fact that Abubakar Shekau does not drag his voice,” the analysis further stated. Another alleged victim of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo’s unbridled libido has come up with her narrative of how she outsmarted the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), who has been in the news lately for the wrong reasons. Unlike ‘Femina’, Ese Walters, who indulged in a week-long affair with the married pastor, this lady, who identified herself simply as Franca E., not only decoded Pastor Biodun’s sinister agenda on time by following the biblical injunction which says ‘flee from all appearances of evil’, she also took photographs of the encounter and has dared the randy preacher to deny it. Read her unedited story below: “This Ese Walters story is true. I was introduced to the church in Abuja by my childhood friend, who moved to Abuja from Calabar two years before I did. When I joined, she was also a PCU (for Pastoral CareUnit) worker. I really felt welcome in the church up until my friend started having problems with otherwomen. She told me it was because Pastor Biodun trusted her with so many official things even above workers that were there before her. I believed her until the day she had an misunderstanding with another worker who called her ‘Ashewo Mary Magdalene’ in the church. “After that, her enthusiasm for church started waning while mine was getting stronger till the day she toldme she was leaving the church and shortly after she left. By that time, Pastor Biodun had developed an interest in counseling me and then started telling me to take my friendsplace as aPCU worker. I was reluctant because I didnt feel like coming to church early and leaving late but Pastor Zbiodun assured me that hispersonal driver will pick meand drop me off and so I agreed. “I started work as arranged but after a while, I noticed that the pastor did not respect personal space when talking to me when we were alone. “He would stand soooooo close and rub my upper arms or my back which made me very uncomfortable. The final straw was when he said I should go with him to Lagosto take notes and transfer same online immediately for some Pentacostal thing he was attending and he knew I was very computer literate. “I was excited till we reached Lagos and I realized that only one roomwas booked at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi. Ofcourse I complaint and the Pastor called the front desk (or pretended to) to demand for another room. He said they would call back when the room was ready. “He then told me to help massage his back becos he has back ache from sitting on the flight. I said I was tired since it was already after 8. He then insisted I lay down on the bed to rest while waiting. I said I preferred to sit at the desk and he laughed saying that I was acting like a small girlor a village uneducated girl.He then went in to take a shower. “I then called the front deskto remind then about the extra room. I wasn’t surprised when I was told that they had vacant rooms and that nobody had requested for an extra room. By this time, I knew what was up and was readyfor the fool. “I opened his pouch and saw his wallet which had his lisence. Took a picture of the wallet and the Lisence on the pillow on thebed with my head in the shot. I opened the door and took several pictures of myself, the wallet and the Lisence with the room number. Came back in, onceI heard the shower stop, I started audio recording on my BB. “He came out with a towel around his waist and started telling me how attracted he was to me. He said many deregatory things about his wife, calling her a postcard…pretty on the outside but flat and empty upstairs. He said s*x with her was like having s*x with a cold dead fish…he tried to kiss me and I stood up, picked up my travelling bag, moved to the door, opened it and quickly took a picture of him, standing with a towel around him. “He started begging. I called him all sorts of names and insisted he give me money for a separate room or I would scream’r*pe’. “To cut a long story short, he asked me to shut the door, I refused, he brought out 2 bundles of N1000 and asked me to delete before he gives me the money. I told him he was in no position to negotiate. Got the money, left the Randy goat with a deflated erection and checked into another room. “First thing the next morning, I left for ABJ. By the way, remember my childhood friend that introduced me to COZA? I narrated my experience to her and she confessed that she was sleeping with Biodun for over a year, evenon his marital bed when his wife travelled. “Oga Pastor, try and deny my story publicly and see American wonder….I still have the pictures and our conversation on tape. Thank God for technology!!!!!!” Franca E. http://www.informationng.com/2013/08/pandoras-box-another-alleged-victim-of-coza-pastor-steps-forward.html |
What about the tale of a certain lawmaker who was alleged to have collected a bribe of $650k from an oiltycoon. He is still the hallowed chambers enjoying the largeese shared in the house of representaTHIEVES. A typical 'Animal Farm' scenerio (by George Orwell)...all animals are equal, but some are more equal than the others |
