Politics › Re: Edo 2020:promote Peace, stop The Confrontations, I Go Dye Writes Obaseki by Caseless:
Money is Good! I go dye now write in a polished way. Look at how he tactically chipped in an example like airport road - the kind of landmark project obaseki can write his name on. It means he has none.in his name.

I really dunno where the issue of godfatherism came from. Oshiomhole nominated just one commissioner to obaseki and he was removed by obaseki.
Several peace committee were set up by the party, obaseki rejected them. In fact, one was headed by the SP, Obaseki tagged nass leadership an interested party, and declined.
Oshiomhole didn't cause him to refuse to swear in those 14 members. He also didn't make him to fight his party members.
In fact, obaseki himself said it that it's about party leadership in the state and didn'nt mention godfatherism.
It was also the same obaseki that almost had oshio removed. He even prevented them from holding rally to receive iyamu. They sent thugs after oshio to his village. No one is ready to see reason with oshio for fighting the way he's doing, they see him as trying to be a godfather. How? Who wouldn't destroy a political enemy if he had the chance?

It takes more than working hard. Ngige worked very hard, still got the backing of his people, but that wasn't enough
The court sacked ngige and his people rewarded him with a senate seat even though he contested on the platform of the defunct ACN aganst a popular candidate like Dora of pdp who had federal backing and apga which is the ruling party in the state.

. The provision reads: “Subject to the approval of the National Executive Committee, the National Working Committee may in special circumstances grant a waiver to a person not otherwise qualified under Article 31 of this constitution if in its opinion, such a waiver is in the best interest of the party.
Case closed. Obaseki wouldn't allow iyamu to decamp properly, hence the waiver option.

Wike is doing some underhand thing in all of this. He escaped by the whisker in 2019, his annointed candidate in 2023 might not be that lucky.
Any party chairman not in Amaechi's camp shouldn't be there because that's a recipe for more disaster.

Health › Re: Soldiers Attack Borno COVID-19 Committee, One Dead by Caseless: 6:47am On Jun 14, 2020
The garrison commander also
said that the officer
commanding the soldiers that
violated the restriction order
said they acted based on the
fact that incoming travellers
that were trying to escape the
committee had gathered at a
location, and the soldiers were
worried that they could come
under attack by Boko Haram
insurgents. Hence they led
them into the state.
With this, I saw reasons with the soldiers, but they should been more diplomatic about it.
I remember how travellers were attacked last time when they were
stuck there and we recorded many casualties.

I think the lady that came in was there to inform him and the guy that shouted his name before the attack was the to give him the final warning to escape
He didn't say he knew the lady. That lady and the guy that shouted his name were part of the plan. Didn't you see where someone came into his office and greeted him and it turned out that the guy was among those guys arrested earlier? They were trailing him. He was lucky to have heard the first shot and escaped to another room...that was his luck.

Politics › Re: How Cultists Looking For Me Gunned Down OAU Student In My Presence –legacy! by Caseless:
Could the attack have been carried out by Bambelas? I believe.

Anyway you want to look at it, I think OAU and A.B.U had the most vibrant SUG in Nigeria those days. It was so strong that internal strike caused by student activism and unionism became synonymous with A.B.U. At some points, Abacha had to appoint a military administrator in the person of mamman kontagora as VC.

ABACHA actually had his children attend A.B.U then. I know who my hero is...

I think that SUG president was brave for rising up immidiately after the attack to check on Africa and also to help Oke who later died.
Africa was brave too.

Charles was stupidly brave too. He shouldn't have retaliated the slap he received as he wasn't sure who they were. Egede receive their slap at the point of initiation, and the rule is anyone who dares to slap them after that time should be killed.
Efosa and other guy na obinna. Small thing, names of men on the hit don cast.
It was a sad event in OAU. Movement for sweet, but na violence spoil am.

PDP want to use what Oshiomhole said against ize-iyamu in 2016 against the APC and apc will use what PDP said against obaseki then against pdp now.

It's now balanced.

What I fear for obaseki is, even if he wins, apc will pull what pdp did to them in Bayesla.

The north is not heterogeneously structured. Most of the jihad conquests that islamized a greater part of the extreme north could not success in most parts of the middle belt.Hence most populate by minority non-muslims.
but you have more muslims in the MB than christians.
Which jihad conquest islamized the north? Islam was in the north before anyone came with any conquest.
There are reports of companion of prophet muhammad(s.a.w) coming to the present day borno state. Even when bayajida came he met them reading Quran and practicing islam.
Danfodiyo came with the campaign to separate some cultural practice not in line with the teaching of islam.
