edgecution: Okoronkwo never achieved anything in football. Throughout his career , I'm not sure he scored up to 15 goals and he called himself a striker. lol. I like his energy. He has more work rate than striking ability - this means he gives assist more. |

This guy , promise Isaac, Solomon okoronkwo, etc, made us proud in 2005 ; obasi continued with the SE. I can't understand how they've all disappeared. Solomon okoronkwo was with Hertha Berlin and he's my favorite of them all. I don't know where he is now. Nigeria 99 had obasi and Solomon as "ball boys". |

Opinionated: Located in the south eastern part of Nigeria, and one of Nigeria’s popular ethnic groups. The Ibibios are predominately found in present day Akwa Ibom State with her sister group – Efik – found in Calabar, Cross River State. Known for their excellent culinary skills, they have some of Nigeria’s delicious cuisines. So when next in Akwa Ibom or any Ibibio dominated area, try and savour any of these delicacies.
Afang Soup
https://i2.wp.com/www.opinions.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Edikaikong-Soup.jpg?resize=300%2C193 Unarguably the most popular of the soups of the Ibibios. It is prepared using Afang leaves with water leaf, which are sliced in tiny pieces. Not just popular, but extremely delicious.
Ekpang Nkukwo
https://i2.wp.com/www.opinions.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/ekpang-nkuwo.jpg?resize=300%2C254 Traditional meal made up of cocoyam (ditto its leaves), water yam, periwinkle (aka Mfi). Not commonly cooked as it is reserved mainly for special occasions and takes time to prepare.
Editan Soup
https://i1.wp.com/www.opinions.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/afang.jpg?resize=300%2C206 A less known but bitter version of Afang soup. Made using Editan leaves and waterleaf. Editan soup has medicinal benefits than Afang.
Edikaikong Soup
https://i2.wp.com/www.opinions.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Atama-Soup.jpg?resize=300%2C179 Yet another export by the Ibibios to the world. It is prepared using pumpkin leaf and water leaves. Preferably eaten with Pounded yam or fufu.
Atama
https://i1.wp.com/www.opinions.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/at.jpg?resize=300%2C169 Made from palm fruit concentrate and Atama leaves. Although, it is similar to Ofe Akwu (eaten mostly the Igbos) by the usage of the palm fruit concentrate. The difference lies in the vegetables and spices used for the soups. Of all the delicacies eaten by the Ibibios, this soup is best enjoyed with more fish, meat, snails, periwinkle than any other (Nigerians term such “obstacles”).

Opinionated: The Northern region of Nigeria offers numerous attractions for tourists. And besides visiting the tourist-worthy sites, travellers can also enjoy tasty traditional food of the north. Although the food of the region is not considered as the primary reason for its popularity, one cannot ignore the fact that the Northerners have contributed richly to Nigeria’s national food identity. Below, Jumia Travel, the leading online travel agency, shares traditional foods of the Northerners.
Burabisco
A traditionally made couscous meal common to Northern Nigeria, especially in Maiduguri, Burabisco is loved and enjoyed by many. Usually paired with spicy stew of meat and vegetables, its rich ingredients categorize it among luxurious dishes in the region.
Miyan Kuka
Miyan Kuka is certainly the most famous northern Nigerian soup and translated as “Boabab leaf soup”. The green draw-soup is made from ground baobab leaf and special spices, preferably ‘Yaji’ – a mixture of ground pepper, ginger, garlic and other seasonings/herbs.
Tuwon Dawa
This is a side dish made with ground guinea-corn made thick and cassava. It is best eaten with soups like Kuka and okra. This meal is unique majorly because it is best prepared with firewood.
Tuwon Shinkafa
This mouth-watering dish is possibly the most popular foods in the Northern part of Nigeria. It is also very palatable and widely embraced by other cultures in the country. The meal consists of thick rice pudding and spicy sauce. If you are visiting the region, try this meal to broaden the spectrum of your taste. And once tried, you may find it hard to resist the temptation of re-ordering.
Pate
A dish usually prepared with ground corn or rice, cooked with vegetables, tomatoes, onions, pepper, garden egg, locust beans, groundnut, biscuit bone, meats minces and sometimes, assorted meat parts, Pate is largely consumed in Kaduna, Nassarawa, Plateau and other Northwestern states. This dish is primarily porridge and is an all-time favourite liked by almost all age groups.

Fongido: I came across this question somewhere so I decided to share it here.
Question : If you have “Pass or Lower credit" in your OND. Maybe you made a mistake
Then your HND you made up for it by having “Distinction or Upper credit"
When applying for a job. Maybe during the interview your employer asks you what did you have in your OND you say “Pass or Lower credit" then he asks what did you have in your HND you say “Distinction or Upper credit" most especially Pass would that OND poor grade affect your chances of getting the job?
Assuming you're applying as an HND holder not OND holder.
How is this going to affect you in the labour market on a long run?
Your thoughts. NO! |

nextprince: Coming from an irreparably confused dolt. all you have to offer is nothing but insults and tantrums calling people illiterate and insulting the Prophet while going about with a piece of crap compiled by drunkards in their hallucination.
That crump of noodles you placed on the same pedestal with brain needs to be replaced with the brain of a cockroach. Can you now provide the least explanation to these show of madness in those rubbish you call holy versions? This is just 5 out of the 101 contradictions posted by a human being with a working brain. 1. Who incited David to count the fighting men of Israel?
God did (2 Samuel 24: 1) Satan did (I Chronicles 2 1:1)
2. In that count how many fighting men were found in Israel?
Eight hundred thousand (2 Samuel 24:9) One million, one hundred thousand (I Chronicles 21:5)
3. How many fighting men were found in Judah?
Five hundred thousand (2 Samuel 24:9) Four hundred and seventy thousand (I Chronicles 21:5)
4. God sent his prophet to threaten David with how many years of famine?
Seven (2 Samuel 24:13) Three (I Chronicles 21:12)
5. How old was Ahaziah when he began to rule over Jerusalem?
Twenty-two (2 Kings 8:26) Forty-two (2 Chronicles 22:2)
Dunce, akuya kowai. you're spot-on ! They know nothing, not even their holy book. |
