benpedro: Pictures please!i no longer trust any public official or any news from any news outlet in Nigeria without proofs.no thanks to buratai, lai Mohammed and sahara reporters you can visit any of the areas highlighted in the report to find out for yourself if you're not satisfied with what is here . He disclosed that apart from Sambisa Forest, air strikes have been conducted on other hideouts including Gawa, Walasa, Kote, Alagarno, Talala, Alafa North, Yele, Arra, Dure, Ajigin, Takwalla and Kumshe.
He said close battlefield air interdiction and close air support were provided for Nigerian troops at Gadzama and Ngwalimiri |

He explained that this translates to 157,000 Square Kilometres of operational coverage, equivalent “to the total land mass of South Korea, Portugal and Togo.” Who said we haven't regained our place of pride in the comity of nations? Not even the US-led coalition in Iraq and Syria has covered this huge landmass in less than 2 months in their air operation. He said this also translates to “a total of 536 hours 21 minutes were flown by various platforms engaged in the operations, average of 8.93 hrs of flight on a daily basis in the last 2 months. This is humongously excellent. expending 316,637.5 litres of aviation fuel which amounts to N60,376,912, excluding the cost of maintenance and armament expended.” transparency and accountability has finally returned into the system. In the past under Gej aka ineffectual-B, those faulty plains or helicopters (with faulty rotor) that ended up killing our officers could have taken billions of naira without actually flying or, the only report you get from such huge expenses is the death of officers who were unfortunately on such faulty platforms. God, I thank you for BUHARI. |

When PDP was making such claims, APC was busy celebrating any new bomb blast as it was a yard stick for them to tell the masses how inefficient the Govt. Of the day was.
Tell us when Boko Haram is finally wiped out and Chibok babes are back...you promised U will do this as soon as U get to power...it is about 8months now...so when are U going to deliver? Each day a new blast takes peoples lives..sons, daughter, wives, husbands, fathers, aunties, uncles, bread winners the loss is countless...[/s] wailers anthem! |

BushidoBlue: For those that can't seem to read between the lines...
Here is what I'm trying to point out.
1) as long as you are in governance, you will always have people who don't necessarily agree with your views. Having said that you have two options a) attack those who don't agree with your policies and views or b) ignore them while looking for solutions for the greater good of the general society (inclusive of the ones that don't agree with you).
2) from the initial post and to those who really understand Obama's policy thrust in the US, you will see that even in the face of Armed militia groups, the US is forging ahead.
Do you for one second think the FBI are not monitoring and tracking these militia?
Do you hear the Obama led government making divisive speeches about being more rewarding to those who voted his party than those who didn't?
Obama's policies are going on strong after a terrible recession and he has set up a bar that the Republicans can't seem to meet up with, especially since the last Republican Administration was largely responsible for the recession (debatable)
So in summary this present Administration should put more energy into the critical sectors record for nation building and less on the ones that are obvious smoke screens.
I believe that the amount of energy spent on this Biafra brouhaha is exactly the fuel needed to push it out more.
So Nnamdi Kanu asked for weapons... where are the weapons? So Nnamdi Kanu has been arrested... has that stopped the noise?
As a leader one has to think beyond the surface to govern, more so a nation as complex as Nigeria.
I would have thought that after 45 years of our civil war, we would have moved on from pettiness and bickering to identifying the core issues hampering our growth as a nation...
Corruption Equality Fairness Rule of law Dignity of labour
Solve these and see this nation move.
Note I didn't mention power because I believe that power falls under corruption... all you guys compare us with is the US. You fail with ur points. |
