^^^If some people can 'own and control' Lagos, why can't others own natural resources found in their domain?
if some people claim total ownership of lagos, how come your people own properties , are voted into elective offices and are appointed as commissioners there? Tell me one igbo state that does one of those things your people enjoy in lagos for non-indigene. There was a time in SE where a state laid down civil servants who are from other igbo states. How do u explain that? Look around you, before leaping.

Obiagelli:
Does these blocs naturally belong to those holding them? Did they buy the oil blocs?
if you peruse the article, you'd discover that FG is in strategic partinership with those who these oil field licenses are given to; this partnership comes with benefit of revenue accruing to FG. And I didnt see where in the article the OP said the license were issued for free. Again, if the FG decides to give these blocs up to the community, how does FG stand to gain in this?
Oil blocs are owned all over the world mostly not by the communities where they are found, but by individuals/companies from other places. We have Nigerians who own OB in mozambique, too. So, I see nothing wrong in Nigerians from other regions owning OBs in the ND.

The day jonathan 'rode' to power on the back of religious and tribal sentiment was the day we knew his reign as president will be transcient in a sense.

Politics › Re: Ankio Briggs Says War Is Coming.... by Caseless: 7:00am On Apr 30, 2015
zendy:
I watched the video on YouTube last night. She did not call for war. What she called for was a referendum for the Niger-Delta to pull out of Nigerias. Unfortunately for many Nigerians, particularly those of the Yoruba and Hausa ethnic stock, anybody calling for the disintegration of Nigeria is calling for war. A struggle for self determination does not have to come to war. I'm proud to be Igbo but I do not consider myself a Nigerian. I would chose a separate country from the Yoruba/Hausa man any day. In civilised countries, a referendum is given to decide if a group of people wish to stay or go. But in backward Africa, it has to be war.
quit that illusion, kid! You think those your brothers who were executed in indonesia were identified as igbo? You can't leave this country with your igbo passport(which does not exist), but with Nigerian passport to go and commit crime. You people have done more damage to the image of Nigeria than any other tribe. You claim not to be a Nigerian, but your people are in every nooks and crannies of Nigeria. You don't even enjoy the peace of mind you enjoy in other parts of Nigeria in your own region.
