jorlons: This is as low as it can get. I mean can you just believe this. PDP is trying to play on the gullible state of minds of these people. WAIT I don't expect the yorubas in this region to be this gullible or were they not benefactors of the free education declared for the west by Awolowo. If indeed their minds are educated then they will not for this SCAM unless PDP is also sharing the money like they usually do.
Caseless pls come and see promise oooooo
Cc: caseless the last people to fall for such cheap campaign line , are the people of the southwest. Pdp should face issues, and not pettiness. What do we need state creation for? How productive are those we have right now that any sane mind would think of creting a new one? Pdp is as useless as its promises. Nonsense... |

berem: Out of all the presidential candidates, there are two Igbos contesting for presidency. Chekwas Okorie and another. Chekwas Okorie seems popular than the other. Based on voting along ethnic lines,is Chekwas Okorie a threat to Jonathan's votes from Igbos? What is the extent of popularity of Chekwas Okorie among Igbos and his acceptance by his people? Will ndi-Igbo choose Chekwas Okorie over Jonathan or Buhari?
Only mature comments are welcomed. Insults and name callings will be reported to the mods. igbo let down their own in 2003. I guess it is time to do the right thing by voting their own and prove to other parts of Nigeria that they are ready for leadership business. You dont wait or give a blind support to jonathan for him to hand over the baton to you in 2019 on a platter of gold(a wild goose chase , I must say cos it wont happen) and when that does not happen , you go back and cry of marginalization . Igbo did not give up biafra to become 7th class citizen, they did that to be fully part of power equation. Power is not given, it is taken. |

raumdeuter: President Goodluck Jonathan has promised to go on exile if he fails to build the Second Niger Bridge before completing his term in 2015.
The Nigerian leader made the promise in his remarks at a Town Hall Meeting held yesterday in the commercial city of Onitsha as part of activities marking his one-day visit to Anambra State. During the visit, Jonathan commissioned several projects, including the oil production facilities of Orient Petroleum at Aguleri, the massive SABMiller Brewery at Onitsha and the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu Gateway in Onitsha
Speaking yesterday at the Town Hall Meeting, the Nigerian leader said that “when the first bridge was built, it was during the presidency of Nnamdi Azikiwe; the second Niger bridge will be built under the presidency of Azikiwe Jonathan.” To further reassure the people, the President said he would go on exile on the completion of his term if he does not build the bridge.

Freest: Yes, as it has been the trend of recent especially with the February elections just around the corner and different people with their own views and political opinions, it has not been unusual to see and hear men of God meddle in politics as has been seen recently in our political terrain. Who says men of God should not or cannot meddle? Samuel was a priest but meddled in the political affairs of Saul, David and others so why is this times different? These where the words from a popular man of God who hails from Uromi in Edo state. I see, Yes i see a tough election, Its a dicey one. People will be betrayed, yes, important people will be betrayed. Some will wish they hadn't change political party. I see blood spilled, but we shall avert it. I see Tinubu betray someone that has trust him so much, someone who thinks he is with him, but i see the person get passed such betrayers and stand on his feet again. I see Obasanjo deceiving people, they don't k ow he has his own agenda very different from everyone's own. But God will expose him. They think he is working for them, but he is just selfish. He has his own agenda. I see goodluck being stressed. I see him tired and unhappy. I see him have good intentions and plans but bad followers. I see him struggle to expose his true good nature to people but their eyes are blinded. They are tired, they are confused, they don't know what to want anymore. I see him struggle. He will not die, because people have bad plans for him, but the bible say we should pray for our leaders. Whether good or bad pray for them. Goodluck will not die (Chorus Amen) February election is going to be won on a very small margin, the PDP will win the election but it will be countered and argued upon, but there will be peace in Nigeria. The election may want to cause war, but Peace will prevail. God made Nigeria as a whole, he created us from the foundationsof the earth, and he has decreed, Nigeria will not divide (chorus Amen) These where the words of a Great man of God named O. O. Freest and you are the said man of God? No wonder, reading through ur post , I sensed it sounds like story cooked on Nairaland. No one takes this seriously. Hogwash! |

acidtalk: JONATHAN EBELE AZIKIWE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS :
* In 2008 when Obasanjo picked you to be Yaradua's running mate who were the people that first kicked against your candidacy?
The Ijaws did. Their reason was that the 2 years as governor in Bayelsa you did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Till date, your erra is still termed the worst in Bayelsa.
* Why did Obasanjo find it difficult to sell you to his allies and PDP as Yaradua's running mate?
You Jonathan had a case with EFCC has documents proved you embezzled N9,000,000,000 (NINE BILLION NAIRA) while your wife Patience laundered $4,000,000 (FOUR MILLION DOLLARS) all these within two years.
* Ebele, who was your biggest opposition in becoming Yaradua's running mate?
The answer is EDWIN CLARK. The man who today is your mouth piece and who is pretending loves you the most.
* Azikiwe, amongst other tricks, what did you do to gather public sympathy?
You Mr Deceitful sent people to blow up part of your house in Bayelsa to make it look like it was your political opponents. The SSS released a report which you guys later hid to debunk your dubious claim.
* Jonathan, when Yaradua made you to be in charge of negotiations with the Niger Delta Militants, who were those who objected and what was their reasons?
Asari, Tompolo, and Boyloaf. Their reason being that you are not sincere in the Niger Delta course but only after your pocket.
SHOULD I GO ON?
* What was your agreement with PDP regarding a 2nd term.
You promised and even swore you will go for a SINGLE TERM
*Why did you jail James Ibori and forced Aoandoka to go underground?
To revenge their utmost loyalty to the late Yaradua .
* Did you fulfill your agreement to Tinubu and others even when they had to betray their party at that last minute in order to canvass for you.
ABSOLUTELY NO.
* How did you try to mock and tarnish Obasanjo?
You didn't only remove all his loyalist from your government, you also made sure you made his enemies your closest allies. You don't need me to start calling names right?
* Who is Jonathan's BIGGEEST Northern Ally?
Alli Modu Sherrif. The CHIEF SPONSOR OF BOKO HARAM.
AWAY FROM POLITICS.
* You promised Nigerians incentives in order to remove subsidy. Things like stable power, metro buses (in Lagos and Abuja), full road rehabilitation etc.
MR LIAR WHERE ARE THEY.
* Obasanjo's government brought GSM amongst other things, Yaradua's short time in government brought RULE OF LAW. Jonathan what has yours brought?
NOTHING EXCEPT INCREASE IN CORRUPTION.
* Never in the history of Nigeria has all institutions witnessed as much strike as yours.
*Jonathan WHERE ARE THE CHIBOK GIRLS.
* Jonathan what in Heaven's name do you need FIVE presidential jet for even with the high rate of poverty in the land.
* Ebele, the ONLY Nigerian president that tried all means to DIVIDE Nigeria along Religion and Ethnic line.
* The ONLY AFRICAN PRESIDENT THAT OPENLY CELEBRATES CRIMINALS AND EX CONVICTS. Kashamu, Alameisia (or whatever), Bode George.
* Jonathan will rather gallivant with Nollywood stars than have a session with those brains who are truly making Nigerians proud both Home and Abroad. Or better Still, compose a comforting message to the people of North East.
Nigeria as at today HAS NO GOVERNMENT.
We provide our water - borehole. We provide our light - generator/ inverter We provide our security - high fence/ cctv We provide our education - private school. We produce fuel yet pay the most in the world. We have no motorable federal road.
A BIG SHAME NIGERIA HAS NO NATIONAL CARRIER.
HIGH Uneployment in the land.
High rate of Corruption (the CLOWN wants to curb corruption with technology).
JONATHAN YOU ARE A FAILURE!!! Even if WE give you 10 terms ( 40 YEARS). YOU WILL STILL NOT TAKE US TO THE PROMISE LAND.
FELLOW NIGERIANS : Share these on your Facebook, Twitter, Instergram, BBM, Whatsapp, And every blog and forum you know ( COPY AND PASTE ON AS MANY THREADS ON NAIRALAND AS YOU CAN. THE WHOLE NIGERIA MUST SEE AND HEAR OF JONATHAN'S LIES). Until Jonathan can answer the above questions he doesn't deserve our "clap" not to talk more of our "votes". Be warned! No known record for a successful brain transplant yet so we don't expect any state of improvement in Jonathan's cluelessnes and deceits. This is thought-provoking! I have to save this revealing facts. |

Latest News Home / Headlines / Ex-militants reject Jonathan, back Buhari for presidency Ex-militants reject Jonathan, back Buhari for presidency By Ameh Comrade Godwin on January 22, 2015@dailypostngr MILITANTS-PROTEST-1 Ahead of the February 14 presidential poll, some South-South ex-militant commanders in Edo State yesterday declared their support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd). They also lauded the leadership of the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta for endorsing Buhari, maintaining that the group (MEND) made the right choice. The ex-militants told newsmen in Benin, the Edo State capital, that their position was in line with the expectations and hope of Nigerians for positive change and development, particularly, the development of the Niger Delta region. The spokesperson for the group, Mr. Godwin Ogidigba, explained that the ex-agitators had implicit confidence in the ability of Buhari, whom he said, was capable of addressing the major challenges affecting various communities in the region, which were yet to be addressed by the present administration. He said, “In recent publications in the dailies, you see MEND endorsing Buhari. People thought it was a joke. It is not. The fact remains that we need somebody that can address the salient issues that affect the Niger Delta region.“Our brother has failed in those issues; our brother has failed to take us away from poverty, our brother has failed to bring development to the Niger Delta region.“Just take a look at most of the Niger Delta communities. They still remain where they are, in spite of the fact that we have one of our own at the top, at the helm of affairs, nothing positive has changed in the region.”
Ogidigba argued that their choice of Buhari had nothing to do with religion or ethnicity but centred on their desire for unity in the country.
Ogidigba said, “Somebody who can stand and develop our region, that should be our interest and that is our interest. It is true that President Goodluck Jonathan is from the South-South region; he is our brother.http://dailypost.ng/?p=213884dailypost.ng/?p=213884 |
