I think we can use this thread to alert ourselves to fresh good oppurtunities out there in the market...

As for me am banking on dangote Sugar and OANDO now.....hopefully they will make money for me as soon as their results come out...

Am also hearing that FBN result will be poor due to some provisioning....hopefully this will push down the price of the stock to about N6-7 and hopefully we shall all pounce on it again for some fast gains..
nice one! Buh, what happened to Oceanic Bank recently (now Eco Bank) has made me fall sick of the NSE: Over N496k now worth only N13k, Imagine! That, in the Fishery or Info Biz, by now would have given me over 500% return! Nowadays, i like to put my money where i can see 'em!

that's very good, great to hear people still milk honey out from a Rock like the NSE! Buh, i like long term, maybe that was why i burnt my fingers? Advice Noted though.... Only that i can't even pull my money out anymore, it's now worth nothing!

Ahaa! I see you go pretty much for the Blue Chips, hot cakes any time! I kinda learnt this late though, for me, it has always been the Penny stock (kiyosaki called them secret Gold Mine), turned out to be a bad choice, mostly the insurance, damme! that sector is a deep pit with no end.... The Blue Chip is a Sure Banker after all.... Been thinking of ofloading 'em, gotta hold on a while then!

Sharp guys u said? That was what i thought some years back, only to dryout my a/c.... Bought that same FBN at N33, Oceanic at N16, Access at N14! How much did u said u bought just now, you don't want to know how much went down the drain, do you? The NSE as you claim, might be for the smart dudes, but, just don't be caught unnoticed!

Knew a couple of Folks who collected large sums of loans to invest in the NSE, some commited suicide, others sold their biz, homes and anything saleable to pay back those large sums! Me, Haaa, grace kept me going: burnt my fingers and my greedy tongue badly (no loans though), but, i regret ever Buying stock/shares! Worst off, other world markets are growing, the NSE has just refused to wake up! Is there any hope it's ever gonna pick again? Feel for those young lads i advice into buying stocks back then; to me, the NSE is a no go area, not after banks merged and shareholders stocks became invalid, others recapitalized and send u pea nuts as share! NSE is dead, not with Boko Haram on Rampage! I want my money back; *where's this broker* you must give me back my money O*.....that was a student shouting at my stock broker yesterday! Sad isn't it?

African Leaders are like Slaves to the West, plain and simple! Just promise a black leader $1Million Aides, he open's the door to Billions of almost FREE Resources! You call that exploitation? No, that's Sickening, they exploit us because we have Sick, Old, Greedy, Power Hungry, Clueless and Press Button Leaders!

I do not understand your post pls, can you explain how it relate to the topic..thanks
Guess i was in the Spirit, ok, let me come down to the Physical!
You talked about NOI being possibly a plan to exploit Africa, you need to realize that Africa have always been Cheap and hence, the exploitation (excluding Ghadafi's Libya).... Africa Need One Voice, we should not rely too much on these aides from the west, it's a trap and a WIN/LOSE bargain! and that's where the World Bank comes in, they loan you a Tire only to Collect your Car! Like Robert Kiyosaki said, "They Borrow you an Umbrella when the weather is Cool and sunny, and take it back when it's about to Rain."

One-Third of the World's Mineral Resources are in Africa, Fact! Yet my Africa has refused to wake up and realize what she have under her Nose.... So Rich, yet, the Poorest Nations of the World are in Africa! Dumb, Dumb, Dumb Continent! With or with out NOI, Africa has been and will continue to be exploited by her so Cherished gods- America/West.... A Continent whose main Organs ain't even United (AU, ECOWAS etc), fighting over pea nut Aides from the West- selling Africa and it's vast resources for pea nuts, Hmmm, my dear, Africa sold her Birth Rights herself; America and the West are just playing along! Peace....

afam4eva: One of our major problems is that we boast a lot without having nothing to show for it. Big for nothing indeed.
by boasting alot what do u exactly mean? Nigeria was, and is still trying to maintain her position as the Giant of Africa! Big for Nothing? Yet She almost single handedly helped other Africa Nations get their independence, fed many Neighbouring Countries even till tomorrow! Nigeria is the Reason Africa has gotten this Far, Nigeria ain't boasting, she's pride Herself as a true Giant by being there for fellow countries when they're in Need, that's what Giants (not self centered Nations) do- helping others! If u read the post well, u'll see why we're tagged sleeping Giant- tribalism, ethnicism, Religion and Regionalism: just like what goes on here every blisful day! Peace....

Businesstools: Business opportunities are like buses. They'll always keep coming.Let's train ourselves to identify them when they emerge.
spot on! To add to that, your strenghts lies in your Passion- which is the energy that drives us, it is the wine of the very successful: infact, without Passion, you lack energy, and without energy you'll achieve nothing!
What do you want to spend the rest of your life doing even if it means not getting paid for it? Here's the Rule: Never go after money, pursue your Passion and the Money will just flow in naturaly like Water Fall!

Nonybb: cashmentor u talk like an islamic pathetic man. Shame unto u! Did God actually stop spoking to man long ago? Well he spokee to me last night
you could have made your point nicely, and i would have just ignored you and pretend as if i didn't hear u say that! First off, i don't exchange words when it comes down to religion! Now, take it or leave it, God isn't talking to no Man Audibly no more, why? Coz of the isrealites when they were still in the widerness! Don't have much time to teach you many things here, buh, check out your Bible very well, God only spoke to his servants through Visions, just as if He was truely talking to them; it just happens in a flash, and then, Bang! He gives you the message.... Or He sends Angels in form of strangers, friends, or Loved Ones! Check out the Man crying in Mecedonia, read all of Jeremiah, Jonah etc! God speaks to us through our thoughts, impressions and events.... He equaly talk to us through His word (The Bible). It is rare, very rare to belive it when some one tells you that "God spoke to me last Night" ask them how God delivered the message! Don't be Fooled by everything you hear or see: the Spirit ministering to your heart, is not the same as you hearing a Huge, thouderous voice speaking to you! Take note, God speaks to us, but in different ways, by different means and in different environment!

One's dreams reflects his or her state of mind.
God stop talking to man ages ago, the only way He communicates to us today is through our Dreams and Visions.... Yes i agree with you, buh, then, Akeem only used his positive power (Faith) to see himself succeeding base on God's purpose and VISION for his existence; while equaly working hard, very hard towards attaining it! God speaks to us through dreams, just as he helped Egypt store up food in advance: and many more, all in the scripture! This is politics by the way?
Religion / Re: T.B. Joshua Predicts Death Of African Leader In 60 Days by cashmentor(m): 1:39pm On Apr 04, 2012
If God shows you a vision, especially if it relates to Death, He doesn't require you to hide it, if you know the person tell him/her what should be done to avoid it, inform of a warning! Satan Comes to kill, steal and destroy! God on the other hand gives Life; He can never be held liable for the death of his People, there's always a second, third and forever chances! If T.B knows the person, no point in hidding it, just warn him/her of what is ahead and offer the possible way out! Buh, i doubt u'll do that, man must wack abi, BullSh*t!

Politics / Could There Be Commercial Crude Oil In The North? by cashmentor(m): 1:21pm On Apr 04, 2012
Look at it this way: there've been discoveries of Commercial Oil in Neighbouring Countries like Chad, Niger (started Refining last year), Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Cameroon, even close rivals Ghana... Now, couldn't there be the possibility of Crude Oil in the North? and that they could have realized this buh, be hidding it or discouraging any exploration attempt? Or maybe they're not willing to share it with "One Nigeria" only for the North, at their own biding!
Most of the Environmental and weather conditiotions (Geology) of some of the above mentioned Countries are the same as that of the Northern island Basins, hence, there "Must" be Oil, Commercialy in the North.....
Two things could be the issues here!
1: either the FG is not looking at the posibility of this fact, i.e. Oil in the North... Or
2: the North, for political reasons best known to them, are discouraging such exploration, hidding something or simply keeping it for a time best known to them!
Solution: the FG should employ modern Crude Oil Exploration Technology through the NNPC on these Basins found in the North- There's Oil there, there must be, Certainly! Or what do you think?

I think it is time for you to join the Age of Reason. It seems like many religious people reject scientific knowledge because it conflicts with their stone age myths. Religions may have been needed in antiquity to help deal with the unknown, but, today, religion is used as a cop-out, a crutch, an excuse and a "reason" for people's idiocy, bigotry, ignorance and hate.

Keep in mind, I have nothing against spirituality, because I fall under that umbrella.
let's not go outside the scope of this topic! We were given DOMINION over the earth and everything in it, and not Space! Why would i hate science when i use the Computer/Internet? My point is that we shouldn't over do science: every thing has got a limit!

Why would God be mad at you exploring space?
why was God mad at the folks in the scripture, building a tall structure looking for God....only to be struct by God with Confusion (many Languages).... I'm not against science, infact, i love science; but too much Curiousity, expecialy in science often times land us in trouble!

dominique: Poster, you can't expect everybody to read a particular style of books. We all have our personal favorites and preferences when it comes to books. Critisizing someone because of their choice is just wrong. Hard as i try to read non-fiction (biography, inspirational etc) i get bored halfway and i go back to my original choice of suspense thrillers.
it's great to know that u read good books, why i brought this up is that, once in a while, we put up seminars for youths and young minds....we discovered that most youth would rather spend over 1 hr each day reading romance and adventous Novels than read even their text books not to talk of reading a non-fiction book, and my guess is that, they copy these habits from their parents and peers: thus, one begins to wonder why the sudden mass failures in major exams in Nigeria! In as much as i respect everyone's choice of books they read, i still belive Novels will not bring out the best in US and in our KIDs!
