Kobojunkie:
A very simple question .. . . How does Nigeria, a country that still struggles to feed it's own. Feed Other nations? Cause you do know that over 85% of the food consumed in Nigeria is still imported?? grin grin
A very simple answer! Apart from Rice, some fruits and food stuffs, Nigeria imports no other shit! We grow much of our food here in Nigeria: Beans, Garri, Yam, plantain, Meat, couple of Fish, etc etc etc.... Much of your Govts, Oh, my Govts Budget for almost every areas are jacked up only to end up in several Swiss Accounts or, simply mismanaged! We're in Nigeria, and hence, know these things! Or are u telling me that we now import Garri, all the Beans and Rice we consume, Big No! Nigeria use to Feed many Tiny Africa Countries and still does; do we import all the Food? No! Our Parents Grow them! So my point is===> Do we import food? Yes! But not as Much as the Govt Claims! We Grow enough to Feed ourselves, just complementing it some imports (mainly Rice)!
I know because, down here in the South, people are BigTime Farmers in Government Reserves, with Lagos, Abuja, Port etc. as their Major markets!

Kobojunkie: For those with worms for brain, the North produces most of the food consumed in Nigeria(excluding that imported). Many of the farmers who do this are not southerners, or westerners but your average Northerner who has known farming for generation.
ok, so the southerners just started farming, Abi.... Farming is as important to the South just as it is to the North...just that both Region grow different food crops, and me think the South can survive pretty well with theirs!

As much as God Live's, there is just no way what soever that there'll be a Famine in Nigeria, a Country that feeds even other Nations! There'll only be a Famine in Nigeria when the Rain goes on Strike Forever! And even at that, it's effect will be minor, very Minor....atleast, the Egyptians grew crops those days with the Nile through Canals, talkless of even now that there're BoreHoles everywhere! *back to sleep*

When and where on this thread have I said Ghana was the Lord of ANYTHING? Get this inferiority complex and competitive mindset out of here this instant! That's the damn problem! And what do you mean worship Obama? WTH? ..........

I wasn't even talking to you as an individual, was refering to Ghana in General! And u are not the minister of information or Foreign Affairs, are u?.......

1025: let us tell ourselves the truth. if okonjo fuel subsidy context for anything here in nigeria under a free and fair election, she will fail woefully. if many nigerians including myself will vote against madam subsidy removal, what more ghanians?
the extra N32 added per litre or fuel will provide her enough money to live the rest of her life so why worrying herself with world bank president?
who on earth will even vote for a nigerian serving under the most corrupt govt in the world to be the world bank chairman? it will be total madness if world leaders over look the situation in nigeria and go ahead and make this woman the chairman.
Dear world leaders,
please look into the situation in nigeria and understand it that no nigerian is worth that sensitive post at the moment.
charity must, should and will start at home and not at world bank.
let okonjo iweala tell nigerians what happened to the additional N32 per litre she preached us into before looking outward.
please, please and please, nobody should vote for nigerians not even the ones serving under a pdp led corrupt govt.
thanks and God bless you all.
nigerian
I sure don't like that woman, buh, i wouldn't dare post that trash u just spit out! GUSH! Even if she wins or lose, she's still a Nigerian- a patriotic & better one than your angry, bitter a**! Why? Coz she left that same lucrative job to serve or, maybe purnish u some years back.....she has long regretted her wrongs with the subsidy blah blah blah, just move on bro.... Peace!

MsDarkSkin:

you use that disgusting language to describe Ghana, and then
you have the nerve to wonder why they didn't vote for NOI? Smh.
And even then since when did coming from "the same region" make someone
any more qualified for the applied position? That make any sense to you?
Some people need to grow the hell up.
ehhhenn, so what? Are you going to slap him or kiss him? Just coz Ghana's economy is growing pretty fast doesn't place 'em as the Lord of West Africa or Africa in General! Yes, they do have their own rights, but u guys should stop worshipping Obama just coz he like's u.... For once in your envyable life, support a Brother...and stop this" i too know mentality"
